Lovely find . It’s for walkers and cyclists so the floor is understandably a bit muddy ! The decor is nice and cosy . I had an amazing cheese and onion scone with generous amount of butter supplied . I do agree with some of the reviews that the tables could be wiped down but I arrived at a very busy time

We visited the bar as a family of 4 and a dog. We were only supposed to stay for a drink but ended up staying for a food and a long time. There was a big box of games, jigsaws and colouring books for the kids and even a dog bed and water bowls scattered around. The food was delicious, the children had make your own pizzas, and we had a flatbread with chicken tandoori and my husband had a chicken and leek pie. The staff were very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. I can highly recommend. The room was stunning with all of the fairy lights, lovely venue.

Without doubt, Doddington ice cream is the best - and that’s the best and most positive thing I can say. The coffee we bought were both minuscule and really not very warm. Two double scoop waffle cones, two very small coffees and one water came to £17.90. The service was shockingly slow. We had our ice creams long before our coffees were made, so one of us sat at a bench holding two cones waiting for the drinks and for those reasons, no matter how good the ice cream, we won’t be returning.

We've been comping to the Ramblers for year whenever we're up in Wooler. Cam up this weekend, first time in a while and we walked up to get out normal latte and a slice of cake. Unfortunately it's no longer there and has closed down. So, so sad to see. Was a great little place, very friendly and welcoming.

Sunday lunch for mothers day & wow , everyone in our party loved it . The ambience of the venue , the relaxed casual atmosphere & most of all the food were all faultless . Our group of 5 adults & 1 Bambino had 3 roast beef lunches & 2 had the cod fish goujons . No complaints at all & 5 clean plates , with plenty accompanying veg ( mange tout , cauliflower cheese etc ) left because everyone could not eat another morsel . Thank you to the waitress & front of house team & most of all to the kitchen staff & chef's for quality brilliant food . Will we be back ? , Hell yes .

Called in here for breakfast and was warmly welcomed. The place has a very friendly atmosphere. Coffee was good. I was disappointed the breakfast rolls choice did not include a vegetarian sausage one, but I settled for egg. They serve full breakfasts as well as rolls and a good range of cakes and other meals. Worth visiting.
