Had a wonderful lunch! Very cheap too but fab quality! Service was fabulous and very friendly and approachable. Had a sausage sandwich and a lovely hot chocolate. Dog Friendly!! Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Lovely people serving great food. The sausages are perfect breakfast sausages. A crisp skin that dissolves in the mouth and rich pork. If it wasn’t for my Dr’s warnings I would have crossed the road to the little butchers that they use and bought a load to take home and fill the freezer. The lady preparing my meal broke my egg yolk, so she made me an extra one. The place was busy with locals and the friendly humour was refreshing. Getting out of bed to face one of there breakfasts was a treat.

Best coffee we’ve had all week Food was perfect, so fresh & tasty. The cakes available looked amazing. Pricing was easy on the pocket which is always a bonus considering how much we have paid elsewhere this week. I wish we’d found this gem sooner as would’ve visited again. Lovely couple running it, so friendly. Obviously a favourite with the locals too as had some regulars turning up and the welcome and social chat was lovely to witness. High praise for this gem and highly recommended.

Great family cafe where all the locals go which is usually a good sign, small menu but had what I wanted mrs loved the sausage cobs, even the local red setter was very freindly. If you want bells and whistles go elsewhere if you want good wholesome freindly service chose Ramblers

Just wanted a decent coffee. On the plus side, it was hot. On the negative side, it had next to no caffeine, so whatever they were using, the end result really was weak, like dish water. I tried to drink it, as I had been desperate for a coffee, but gave up after a couple of sips. How can you not serve decent coffee in this day and age? £2.60 for the privilege! No, thanks! Honestly, go elsewhere if you want real coffee. Atmosphere was gloomy too.

Lovely warm,friendly cafe.Came in twice whilst on holiday. Had both the all day breakfast, and coffee and scones which were lovely.Small menu, but good amounts of food at great value. lots of locals used. Both owners and locals very friendly;hope to see again in not so distance future.

It just shows that there is demand for cafes in that period in between Christmas and New Year. After a family walk in the local area in late December we searched out a cafe to have a late lunch, The whole of the town of Coldstream appeared closed, so we headed to Wooler where Ramblers was the only cafe open. It was very busy. The food we were served was very good indeed and excellent value. Despite the owner clearly being rushed off his feet, service was cheery and efficient, We shall definitely visit again.

Just as title says and it is worth it soup and toastie six quid and worth every penny basic coffee but it was hotter than Starbucks so yahay

Excellent venue, used by the locals as a meeting point. Where they eat or have tea or coffee. I have been here on a number of occasions. They serve an excellent all day breakfast. We'll cooked and not expensive. Table service, friendly staff.

Popped in for a quick cuppa and were greeted warmly by the owner. Decided to order a cream tea and turned out to be an excellent decision. They were the best homemade scones we've had in years. So fresh and full of lovely cherries. I wish we lived nearer !

We visited Wooler today, had the all day breakfast at Ramblers. It was honestly the best breakfast we have had in ages. Couldn't fault it at all. The price was good too. Highly recommend this place.

Popped in for a bacon roll and beans on toast, coffee and tea. All very well priced. Best bacon in the village. Pleasant decor and friendly locals and staff. Would recommend it.

We’re currently staying in the village and popped in for lunch after a walk. It’s good value for money, delicious and the owners are really friendly. Dogs are allowed too, always a bonus for us when we’re out.

We visited Ramblers for breakfast (22nd July). The owners were so friendly and attentive and we were greeted warmly too. We ordered 3 full English breakfasts (1 modified to suit our daughters dietary needs) and they came out quickly. Hot, hearty and oh so yummy! 10/10 for the quality of the products. Gorgeous barista cappuccino too! Lots of local people were in too having coffees and catch-ups and despite ourselves being holiday-makers, we were treated like locals and had a canny chat with the customers and owners. Such lovely, genuine people! We’ll definitely return when we come to stay in Wooler again. Highly recommend!!!

Called in to Ramblers today for a piece of Lesley’s Malteser Cheesecake. O my goodness. This divine stuff is what dreams are made of if you are a sweet lover. Try it if it’s on the menu !! You will not be disappointed. Cheesecake Heaven.

The owners of this traditional cafe were lovely. They were welcoming and very helpful. We had a light lunch here (panini and coffee) which was lovely. Very reasonable prices too.

Yep, title says it all and the prices very reasonable. We chose to sit outside with our dogs but they are allowed inside too Just had a drink and a cake but the cake (blueberry sponge) was lovely Definitely stopping here again

Went here for lunch after visiting Flodden battlefield. Nice couple running the place. Had corn beef pie with mash and peas and 2 paninis. Tasty and good . Then lovely lemon cake and fruit scone washed down with tea and coffee. Honest food at a good price.

This place is usually packed so we have always gone elsewhere. This time there were a few tables free so, that, and the fact that dogs are allowed inside, tempted us in. Toasted tea cake, scrambled egg roll and two white coffees served up quickly and by friendly staff certainly hit the spot. Nice to see that there are some regulars too; good home made food and tasty means we will be back.

Corned beef pie homemade and very tasty. Husband had a breakfast. Excellent value. Not expensive and worth it. Spotlessly clean and very pleasant staff. Will even do a packed lunch for ramblers. Worth a visit even for a cuppa .

Popped in while having a walk around wooler. Had a jacket potato with tuna mayo and cheese and a cheese and ham sandwich with crisps. Both really lovely and reasonably priced. Friendly staff who were really welcoming.

Lovely little cafe, we were greeted with a lovely smile by the friendly staff, placed our order and then sat down. Immediately our latte coffees were brought over to us and soon followed a cheese and onion toastie garnished with salad and coleslaw and a BLT also accompanied by salad and coleslaw. Totally delicious and reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you are in Wooler.

Good honest food just like Grandma used to make. The place is very clean and the staff are very accomodating. You can sit outside and have a coffee with your dog.

Mi colega dijo que su comida era deliciosa - especialmente las salchichas! Era tranquilo cuando fuimos, la gente era amable y no tuvimos ninguna queja! e quería probar los pasteles, pero estábamos en un límite de tiempo y estamos bastante completo! Friendly, unpretentious little cafe on the High Street, which seems to be popular with locals. The cheese scones and fruit scones were very good. The name gives away the fact that they welcome walkers, and will provide takeaway food and packed lunches. There is plenty of free parking around, so there is no need to park on the pavement!

Friendly, quick service. Had a lovely toasted sandwich and pot of tea. Owners are chatty and happy to have a laugh with customers. Seems to be popular with locals too.

This is a lovely cafe on wooler high street. The food is all home made, very tasty and reasonably priced! There is a lovely atmosphere and we are always made to feel welcome by the owners and their son. I highly recommend The Ramblers :)

This coffee shop has changed owners since I was last there and I had a pleasant visit for breakfast this week. The breakfast roll was good value for money and the coffee was good too. The cafe serves a range of casual foods including a wide variety of breakfast items, jacket potatoes, home cooked mains, scones etc. It also does packed lunches to take away which is a great plan for walkers in the area. It seems a very friendly place which attracts local regulars as well as tourists in Wooler. The cafe is quite large and airy and has clean toilet facilities. I would definitely return here.

This coffee shop is under new ownership and all the food is home baked,there are daily specials and also meals to take out,well worth a visit and the cheese cake is a must try

Was in local area and dropped in to first cafe we saw which was Ramblers Coffee Shop. Ordered food and although there was a bit of a wait it was well worth it! All prepared fresh - I had mince, mash and peas in a giant Yorkshire, FAB! Can seem basic, but VERY GOOD basic!

Popped in with my wife to shelter from rain and have a quick lunch, and this is close to the car park. Nothing posh, but very friendly people, with prompt, freshly made sandwiches. Prices very fair, and everything clean and presentable where it matters. Would definitely go again.

called in here on a damp Northumberland afternoon with our dog Max, we had lattes and home made short bread biscuits which were very good, the cafe is very basic with plenty of room between tables chair etc,As it is dog freindly the decor could be doing with a lick of paint to brighten the place up a bit. But overall nothing to moan about at all, the staff were very pleasant and friendly, And we will defiantly call in again when we return to the area next year.
