Didn't eat so can't comment on food Service pleasant. Atmosphere was welcoming. Guinness was good. Decors a bit tired but it's clean and overall a nice local pub

Haven't tried the food yet, but the welcome is a warm and friendly, lovely social atmosphere with pool table darts and very cold, wonderfully tasting beer (after all, it is a pub 😀). Not to mention a lovely view of the sea through a short walk through a side turning. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wandered around Newbiggin and was told this was the second best pub here. Nice welcome. Usual beers but the local darts team practising! Very cute.

Stopped here for Sunday Lunch today after a strole along the prom. Sat outside with our 2 dogs (could have taken them inside) enjoying the sun. Fabulous home cooked roast dinner, 1 beef & 1 vegetarian. Hearty portions, tasty food, 5 fresh vegetables, homemade yorkshires, roast potatoes and proper gravy. Good price, excellent service and yummy puds!!! Highly recommended.👍👍👍👍👍

Most of this is out of date. Tried to book for breakfast but phone not connected so went round. They only do Sunday lunch. Nice people, helpful. Nice customers too.

We didn't eat here but just popped in for a drink. This was probably one of the most dog friendly places I have been to not just with the staff but also the other customers. I really liked the place but as a confirmed real/craft beer drinker was disappointed that there was no hand pulled beer on offer and no premium lager. Nevertheless I would call in again just because it was so friendly.

Had a delicious Sunday lunch here at the Willow tree deli cafe in the New Ship Inn. A choice of traditional sunday roast including pork or beef. Avoid the promonade walk establishments and venture just off the prom, its well worth the detour. A clean and friendly establishment.

Great local pub with great staff and great atmosphere. You can eat here 7 days a week and the food is excellent. They do a 2 course lunch special for pensioners for £4.95 amazing value. But best of all is the sunday lunch its best in northumberland. Its a carvery you get served your meat and yorkshire then the choice of veg is usually 6 or 7 different ones fresh cooked and the gravy is divine. You can sit in or take away just take your own plate and help your self. You can have large or small. Homemade mushy peas are best ever. The meats are always freshly cooked and again usually 3 or 4 meats to choose from and mince and dumplings are there.

Three of us ate here today & were not disappointed! 2 of us had the burger & chips and one of us had a jacket potato. The chips were homemade real chips & the presentation was lovely! We then had pudding - home made jam & cream sponge with fresh cream to top! Wow! The service was quick & they couldn't do enough for us! Will definately be going back again! 3 meals & 2 puddings was £20!! Fantastic value!

Having now used this restaurant daily including Sunday for the last 3 weeks I feel I can give a true review. Food is good cooked to order, it is fresh ,presented to a high standard and most importantly tastes even better than it looks. Out of the meals I have had they were all delicious. Sunday roast like your mother used to do great value. Prices are very low. Staff friendly and nothing is a bother to them Great for family, couples solo and they will do a business event.

We went here for breakfast three days in a row. The first day they weren't even actually open for breakfast but he still cooked us sausage sandwiches. The other days we had a traditional cooked breakfast, the eggs were amazing, poached eggs! Beautifully done as well. Lovely local sausages. Impressed with the service and the food. (wanted to do a tripadvisor review struggling to find it on there though)

Went here today 15/12/24 sat in the area for dogs as we had our Lowchen with us staff was all lovely. We ordered the bread assortment comes with butter & oil with balsamic. Then had the Sunday lunch it was absolutely gorgeous everything was so tasty best place to eat in seahouses. The day before we went to Bamburgh castle inn tasteless over priced a glass of wine £11.25 yes £11.25.

Extremely difficult to review something you never received. Booked a table for 6 people, arrived and totally ignored. After an age of waiting were eventually informed that they had gone home early. The staff of the golf club were miserable and unhelpful and the people inside looked at us like we had just fallen off someone's shoe. The comments made by some members seated outside on our leaving, who informed us that they are useless....says it all really.

Popped in for drinks on a night away and I wouldn’t return. The place was dark and lacking atmosphere. The barmaids were in an abundance compared to the amount of customers on a weekend. The barmaids were chatting about the lack of their sex lives speaking so loud using absolutely vulgar terminology mainly about how they hadn’t been touched by their partners in x amount of days and others saying how many people they’d been with in that weekend. The chatting was very loud so the whole bar could hear but mainly entertaining 4 old/drunk lonely customers around the bar. Not a wide selection of drinks it looked like they were waiting for an order that was late. Really not our cup of tea at all no wonder it was dead with more staff than customers. If you think conversations like that are appropriate for all audiences you probably shouldn’t work with the public. I’d have liked to say it was just the younger staff talking about such matters but an older lady in her also involved.
