Having Googled A Picture Framing Company With Some Good Reviews I Thought I'd Try FRAMEWORKS in Blyth. Having Entered The Shop Which Is Part Cafe I Wasnt Dissapointed. Recieved A Quote After Agreeing A Frame And Paid A Deposit With The Balance On Pickup. Really Friendly Staff That Care.Thank You

Fantastic staff, fantastic cakes, fantastic coffee. Overall........ fantastic! The decor is like being in a beautiful cafe somewhere in Italy, lovely place.

Absolutely delightful. Lovely friendly and super efficient staff. The selection of cakes was outstanding and the toasted teacakes and crumpets were delicious. Excellent coffee to top it off. Simply superb.

We've lived in Blyth for 2 years now & pop to Frameworks here and there to have a coffee or to browse. Yesterday we took two items in for framing. One of the items was a photo taken when we first moved here of us at the beach with our dog. Yesterday our dog died and so after months of saying "we must get this framed", we took it in. The lady & gentleman serving us were so friendly and said how photogenic our Roxie was. We explained that she'd died that day. The lady helped us choose the frames and we had a little chat & they offered their condolences. You'll never know how much this meant to us. We've always had a friendly reception at Frameworks & customer service like yours is what helps make you a wonderful place. Shop local. Thank you.

Gorgeous shop selling so many beautiful things. Unexpected Aladdin's cave of treasures upstairs too. Could have quite easily spent hundreds of pounds here. Fabulous!

A fine cafe with pleasant staff and quality food not far from the bus station and harbour of river Blyth. You may be there when music is played on the piano or wander up the magnificent staircase to view furnishings for sale

Good coffee served in an amazing shop. You can find some unusual, beautiful items for your home including lamps, individual furniture and pictures. A lovely shop to browse through then enjoy a snack in the cafe area.

This is much more than a framing shop I was very surprised when I walked in to get a picture frame to find out that it has beautiful cafeteria and gift shop, the lady who served me was very pleasant and helpful. Waiting to collect the frame photo Before Christmas hopefully as was promised.

Very dissapointing Xmas afternoon tea at a cost of £21.95,one choice of sandwich, turkey and stuffing ,no scones and no cream on shop bought mince pies,a piece of pie and piece of corned beef pie which would have been nice to have been warmed on such a cold day and a small piece of Xmas cake and 5 christmas crackers on table for 10 people.I will not be back.

This was our 2nd visit, lovely relaxing afternoon listening to the pianist playing while eating lunch, A nice menu for a lunch or afternoon tea, Staff friendly, can get very busy and a slight wait for food as it is prepared Definitely a place to visit in Blyth which was recommended to us by our neighbours when we moved into the area.

They did a fantastic job of framing posters that had been rolled up for 40 years and advised me well. Although not the cheapest you get what you pay for and it's nice to support a good local business Cheers

Booked afternoon tea for a special birthday treat. When we arrived we were allocated a single table for 4 of us, until a lady eating at the next table left. Then 2 tables pushed together. We felt we were an inconvenience. Nothing like the service we were given last year. Having to leave the table to order our choice of sandwiches, no cheese scones and cake choices were limited. No pianist playing either. We were all disappointed and wouldn't choose to book again. However we all love both shops and buy often. Such a shame !!

Not really my style of cafe, but it was busy with locals. Which is always a good sign. I was disappointed with my cheese scon when compared with that served in Ridly Park.

We ordered Coffee, Tea Cheese Sandwich and Egg Benedict food was lovely. The biggest complaint was the fact that we paid a lot of money for the food and drinks and when asked for hot water for the tea, as the tea was too strong were told you have to pay for hot water. WHY DO YOU HAVE THE PAY FOR HOT WATER very greedy to me. I also complained about the coffee because the cream curled when I poured it in, the lady stated that the coffee was hot and the cream was cold so had curled and took coffee away and put cream in first, the cream I did not think the cream looked that fresh to me .

Great shop and a must for getting prints or pictures framed. Lovely selection of ornaments too.

Very friendly unique restaurant. Easily accessible with nearby free parking. Relaxed atmosphere with good old-fashioned meals of good quality.

A lively place for the ladies to meet for a light lunch and then browse around the fantastic shop. So many wonderful cards to choose from

Absolutely brilliant, we have had nine pictures framed now and just put the 10th in. They are friendly and very helpful, there is a good range of finishes to choose from and their work is excellent quality. All at a good price. Oh and shop is lovely, full of really great and stylish products.

This is a very expensive meal in a very crowded place. Tables very close, considering Covid restrictions, it felt much too close for comfort. The food was okay, but expensive for what it was. Fine for a coffee, but I left feeling hungry after a lunch with my partner.

What a lovely shop with an adjoining coffee shop over the road. Local artists painting local scenes. Peter, who runs it is very knowledgeable and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Food was lovely. Even bought some bits and pieces from shop side. There are some lovely and unusual pieces of furniture, mirrors and prints to view or purchase upstairs and across the road. Well worth a visit.

I brought in two items to be framed and was very happy with the help I received when choosing the frames and extras. The pictures were ready ahead of the time stated and I am absolutely delighted with them. A very personal service but highly professional too. We celebrated with a coffee and cake at one of the pavement tables. Highly recommended, thank you!

Been in here a few times nice food a good service. They have someone playing the piano, when I've been in which is good.

It is some time since we visited here and we have not stopped talking about Frameworks. We live in Cheshire and were surprised by how many people already knew about them, where we live. We went in, by chance, during our wedding anniversary week and the wonderful pianist played a favourite of ours. Just for us. The place is spotless, the food, glorious and the atmosphere superb. One day, we will return. I promise, and spend a bit more time there. Very highly recommended.

Always friendly and very professional. They have framed all my mothers paintings and every single one has been perfect. As a place to go for a present there is nowhere better, and the things I have bought has been loved all across Europe. Cannot wait for you to open again.

Have been before for tea and cakes but this time just to buy a wedding anniversary gift.... wonderful array of gifts and antiques....highly recommended.

recently took in a very large canvass 2m by 1.5m Frame Works did a brilliant job of framing this and due to size also delivered. More than happy with the results, also nice company to work with very friendly and help full strongly recommended. would def use again

The best cafe in Blyth, the staff &food are top notch ,,The live piano music is fabulous too...

We ordered vegetarian stroganoff. A very poor dish. peppers and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Neither the sauce nor the seasoning resembled anything like a stroganoff. Quantities small and prices high.

Meal of steak pie. Tthe pastry was overcooked and was burnt around the edges with bits of dried steak sticking into the pastry edges. Had to cut that part of the pastry off. The meal was not really well presented but basically tasted ok apart from the issue with the pastry . After the meal was served no one came back to the table to ask if everything was ok during the meal or at the end of the meal when we were having our drinks.The café was not very busy so I don't think there was any excuse for not coming back to our table to ask us if everything had been ok., other places do that even when they are busy. As the system is you pay in advance we did not encounter any staff members again so did not get the opportunity express our disappointment with the meal . Someone had told us they had had a nice meal there,( clearly not the steak pie) but wont be going back.Paid a higher price than we would normally in anticipation of having a nice meal but that was not our experience. Again can only describe the experience as disappointing

Lovely food in lovely surroundings

It is so rare to have a live pianist (this was Saturday lunchtime) that this place is a real gem. Food, service, people, decor, shop all very nice too.

Food is always great here, a little pricy for Blyth but makes up for it by being the best cafe there.

High quality prompt service. A beautifully stocked and equipped shop with expert staff, they gave good advice and framed my prints beautifully. I am delighted with the results. They have some lovely prints and pictures for sale as well as an eclectic range of stock. There is also a very pleasant cafe.

Chose Framework for a spontaneous 'surprise' lunch for my partner and we were both pleased and satisfied by the facility and its offerings. What a lovely 'diamond in the rough' for Blyth ! A very attractive building made comfortable by its cleanliness and visual appeal. The staff were attentive and we were quickly seated although it was busy with a lunchtime crowd. After a quick view of the menu we decided on corned beef savoury sandwiches on brown bread and when they arrived they were very well presented with side salad and plain crisps. They were full of filling and were very very delicious. We also had a coffee and a coke and the price while to me was maybe a pound or two over, they certainly made up by the experience and the mouth-watering taste. We recommend Frameworks for a good eating experience and congratulate all involved in bringing a 'touch of class' to Blyth !

Lovely food (soup and a sandwich) but several fresh and ‘home cooked’ options were available. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Pleasant surroundings and atmosphere with a pianist providing music for customers.

Visited for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was excellent and the ambiance of the decor and a live pianist gave the impression and feeling almost like that of Betty’s at Harrogate. Well worth a visit if you are in Blyth.

A gem of a Cafe, nice setting great food with a touch of class provided by the pianist play in the background but not too loud to distract. Well worth a visit.

LOvely cafe to go to for lunch. friendly staff and food cooked fresh to order. Nothing is too much trouble. Good menu and specials all homemade.
