We did not book but got the last table at 6ish,so would advise to book on busy nights. The lady who served us was so helpful and polite I can't fault her. We had a cold share starter then a lamb with dates and figs dish plus lamb with aubergine and cheese sauce. The flavour we're amazing and the meat was so tender 10 out of 10

Great restaurant with 5-star service. Loved the small menu - 3 choices each course, although I think that made it harder for me to choose cause they all sounded fantastic! The restaurant were happy for us to share our starters as didn’t want to fill up but didn’t want to miss out! Also - fantastic wine choices! Nothing seemed too much for the staff! Thank you for making my dinner so special!

The cafe has a terrific position just under the old walls with a handy carpark on the doorstep and marvellous views over Tweed estuary, the sea and the famous three bridges that span the mouth of the river at this historic spot. We opted for the fresh crab open sandwich (£13.90) which was very generous with delicious sweet white and dark fresh crabmeat, plenty of interesting salad and good bread. As it was a sunny day all the outside tables were already taken but we were comfortable inside. A very tempting display of cakes and desserts also beckoned, so we indulged in the triple cream layered Victoria sandwich. Good coffee, interesting tea selection, pleasant table service. A great discovery, we will definitely return.

Called in here after our visit to the Lowry by the Sea exhibition at the nearby Granary. It's in a lovely location by the Tweed estuary and close to the city walls. Sadly the weather wasn't up to much but we took a table outside and were served very quickly. I chose a latte and my friend tea. To eat I opted for a crumble cake with a salted caramel sauce. My friend chose a fruit scone which was served with generous amounts of clotted cream and strawberry jam. I don't think I would go for the crumble cake again. It was one of those confections which look good but lack substance. It was incredibly sweet too, although that shouldn't have been a surprise as the waitress did warn me. My friend's scone was pronounced lovely. The accompanying wasp thought so too so we beat a hasty retreat into the safety of the cafe itself. Prices are reasonable, the service is good and staff very friendly. Perhaps not a five star rating but there's no reason why we wouldn't return.

A great find, purely by accident. The first bonus it was dog friendly, second being they made vegan cakes! 🌱 I had a lovely peach and walnut cake with a delicious oat milk latte. We returned the next day where I enjoyed a coffee/walnut cake and coffee. The lower part of cafe is dog friendly, not the upper section, but there are plenty of seats. This cafe was constantly busy, the lunches looked to be very good too. Quirky cafe, would highly recommend.

A lovely tea/coffee shop. Clean, comfy sofas, dog friendly. Lovely cakes and scones all freshly made by the owner. Also lots of tempting scarves, gloves and handbags decorated around the place for you to buy. A delightful place we found by chance on a day trip to Berwick upon Tweed.

Really great coffee and delicious cake (raspberry and white chocolate, since you ask!) Service friendly and view from the perching stools and tables at the end of the cafe rather lovely across Berwick’s rooftops. Good place for coffee before or after the Lowry exhibition!
