Awful takeaway meal this evening. Spend over ÂŁ50 and over half of what we got was dreadful. Ordered duck pancakes (found bone in the shredded duck), prawn toast (tasted stale like it was made 2 days ago), spring rolls (soggy), sweet and sour chicken balls (batter was horrible! So thick and the chicken was like rubber) the fried rice was dry too. All in all an extremely disappointing takeaway. Will not order from here again

Arrived at Costa drive thru around 12:15 today, ordered a gingerbread latte & a red velvet Cake has I approached the drive thru hut, a gentleman with dark hair and stubble beard was preparing my gingerbread latte he placed the little gingerbread biscuit on top of the cup lid, and handed me the drink looking past me, At my partner I thought this to be a very strange thing to do, even more so when he said nothing at all, not a smile nothing thought. So ok I did not like the way that guy glared at us the way he did, kept it to myself, pulled away from the drive thru got to my destination after a very short drive tasted the gingerbread latte and it was nothing like a gingerbread latte should taste it had orange bits floating on top, when I took the lid off, I drove back to the same Costa, parked my car in the car park, walked in and spoke to a woman that worked the till, she clearly remembered me just moments before in the drive thru, she knew that I ordered a gingerbread latte, I took the lid off my cup and said what do you think this is.? She replied not a gingerbread latte, she apologised for this and offered me a replacement gingerbread latte which was the real deal, My point being this has happened more that once with this guy, the last few times I have pored the coffee out and not bothered returning but it was which way the guy conducted himself whilst serving me today that got me, very strange indeed, it doesnât end here, I then called in again to the same Costa to use the loo and buy a bottle of Diet Coke, same guy in question served me at the till inside, I placed the bottle of coke on the counter he hesitated, before asking me in a very sarcastic way, will that be all, it clearly was all or I would of said so, I shook my head and walked out, this guy is very strange indeed I canât see myself going back to be honest, especially when it was confirmed to me today that I wasnât the only dissatisfied, customer that had passed through his hands yeah, tut tut đ€šđ

A buzzing hotel that serves the local population as a fitness centre. Lovely friendly people working there but, overall, I couldn't recommend the stay. The room walls must be made of paper. You'll hear the exercise classes coming from below and your neighbours below/beside/above walking around, snoring, having a shower, etc. There's no plug socket next to the bed. Dinner in the Bar & Grill restaurant was very average. Insanely quick service, which had us wondering if things were premade. Breakfast buffet again average. Soggy potatoes, processed scrambled eggs, plus some other warm items, boxed cereal, toast, croissant, bit of fruit. Fine If having to stay here, I'd recommend trying to get a room on the top floor. Bring ear plugs.

We paid almost ÂŁ70 to attend a âmagical Christmas eventâ in early December (2 adults and a toddler) and are still awaiting the refund we were promised but have been referred to an external company who helped facilitate the event despite me telling them not to pass my details on as I refused to consult another company on their behalf - the barn sold the event directly through themselves & their website. The event was sold as 5hrs with many things not there on the day - wishing tree, markets, the grinch, face painting (to name a few!). Itâs also sold as 15 to a group, the place was absolute CARNAGE - very small barn with easy 100 or more people crammed in. The âelf passport controlâ was an empty pasting bench with no one manning it & the staff were clueless at what was going on. They gave out patterned paper chains to identify who was where & they even confused themself - it was a free for all & after 40mins we left. The frozen show was embarrassing & we were summoned to it 4 times to fill a void - it was cheesy kids holiday music ⊠oh and the Yuletide menu was chips and hotdogs, the card machine didnât work & I waited 25mins for chips that I ended up walking away from.
