Itâs difficult leaving a negative review because we have always had good food from here. Unfortunately everything we ordered today 28/Feb was awful and far too spicy. Not sure if itâs a new chef or they were just too busy. Everything was so hot like vindaloo đ„ hot, noodles were over cooked and soggy. We will have to give this Chinese a miss for a while. Lips still burning from the chillies and partner drinking milk to soothe his tummy. Everything has been chucked.

Wow! We had the best experience here. Lucy was a great help at reception. So so good at her job! So calm and reassuring. Every member of staff from the spa, to the bar to the house keeping was lovely. Will definitely be back. The room was immaculate and well equipped. The pool and pleasure facilities was outstanding!

We paid almost ÂŁ70 to attend a âmagical Christmas eventâ in early December (2 adults and a toddler) and are still awaiting the refund we were promised but have been referred to an external company who helped facilitate the event despite me telling them not to pass my details on as I refused to consult another company on their behalf - the barn sold the event directly through themselves & their website. The event was sold as 5hrs with many things not there on the day - wishing tree, markets, the grinch, face painting (to name a few!). Itâs also sold as 15 to a group, the place was absolute CARNAGE - very small barn with easy 100 or more people crammed in. The âelf passport controlâ was an empty pasting bench with no one manning it & the staff were clueless at what was going on. They gave out patterned paper chains to identify who was where & they even confused themself - it was a free for all & after 40mins we left. The frozen show was embarrassing & we were summoned to it 4 times to fill a void - it was cheesy kids holiday music ⊠oh and the Yuletide menu was chips and hotdogs, the card machine didnât work & I waited 25mins for chips that I ended up walking away from.

Had lunch at the Keel Row today with a friend, first visit for both of us and we both said we would definitely come again. The service was excellent from the lovely friendly waitress and the food was excellent. My friend had the hand-craved ham and pineapple salad, which was served with a jacket potato, bread and coleslaw and I had the hot steak, mushroom and onion bap served with chips and gravy. We both cleared our plates, which says it all really!
