absolutely unbelievable quality food and good priced aswell especially in a cost of living crisis, and to put the cherry on the top customer service is absolute second to non, would highly recommend!

Called into shiremoor shop this morning. New shop staff and one member of staff was calling everyone pet , darling or love. I didn't appreciate it ,lnot sure what other customers think .

One of the best takeaway in this area. Food is perfect. The atmosphere and the services are outstanding. Onion bhaji and pizza's are recommended and the other food also perfect.

Disappointed with the new layout of the communal areas. It was much better when it was a seperate bar and restaurant. We went for a relaxing family birthday meal (our 2 course meal was included in our room rate) and found it to be anything but relaxing. No designated eating areas therefore we were surrounded by drunk, rowdy people knocking our chairs whilst we were trying to eat our food and generally being disruptive. Tables are too close together. The new work space where the bar used to be is a waste of space at the weekend. I think the hotel would benefit from creating a section for people who are having meals and a section for drinks only. There's nowhere else to sit in the hotel for guests. Couldn't fault our meals or the service however will not be returning for food at the hotel, we will just dine elsewhere if we ever stay again.

Free mince pie. It tastes fine, but the size is more of a mini-pancake... Why?? I also had flat white filled only to half a cup of a dead man hot.Someone serving me wasn't very welcoming, maybe tired . of customers. Was still hungry, so had to buy another cup of _hot_ coffee, tuna jacket potato . Feels better, was served by someone much more cheerful. Otherwise I used to like this place. Actually food tastes good here, as a rule.

Just bought bag chips , waited for chips to cook so should have been lovely and fresh. The chips were disgusting not cooked enough hard inside and tasted like oil needed changing awful taste. I will never return thought I would give it a try pleased it wasn't a large order as went in the bin.

Great service station,extremely convenient as a pit stop between York and Scotland.They have a petrol station as well with a convenience store,they also have a greggs and a Burger King with toilets which was great.They even have a travelodge hotel.Greggs was fantastic,very friendly staff and great to fill you up with their pop chips.They have a variety of food and drink available.
