Queue out the door, waited over 40mins to be served only to be told no cheese toasties because they havnt got allergies sign up for them; I don't have allergies but still wouldn't serve me, prices have almost trebled, a scone with butter £3.50, a pasty £5.50, ordinary bread sandwiches 4.50/5.50, small chocolate éclairs £3.50, can of £2.25 Too slow and very expensive for what you get, gone downhill alot.

Awful meal, my friend and I were there for lunch on Sunday . We ordered jacket potatoes, I had tuna mayo with sweetcorn on mine and my friend had beans and cheese, she wanted tuna mayo without sweetcorn but was told by a miserable worker that it comes with it. I asked if they could just open a tin and make a bit up without sweetcorn but no. The potatoes were old, obviously been in a hot cupboard for a long time and the skins were almost black. On the cutlery counter there were no teaspoons or serviettes. We had sweets, I had cherry pie which was nice but my friends apple pie had all the core bits of the apple in it. One member of staff was good enough to get us some teaspoons. Overall it was an awful meal, the only thing we enjoyed was our pot of tea.

Tea and coffee were fine but the prices for pre-packed food are ridiculous. I wanted a scone - £3.50 no way. Ordinary supermarket food a good choice but far from value for money. I had a toasted teacake with butter, which was OK but no jam. Not impressed

I hadn't been to the cafe for years and wasn't expecting great things. Since my last visit the cafe has had a refurb and very stylish and comfy and good background music. I had coffee plus the cake offer for £1-choice of Victoria sponge and clementine cake, I had the latter which was lovely, seemed home made. Next time will have black coffee and use the milk cartons as coffee was not strong enough for me but still nice. Hope people try the cafe out, it really is nice rather than mediocre as before.

Free cake voucher we received in post was not allowed to be used as it was only usable in the Colne branch, but it didnt say on voucher. Admin need to look at this. Lady serving was very apologetic.

Such a nice place to relax a bit after tiring shopping! Rates are reasonable here. Staff service is very good. Guided / service dogs are allowed inside. Trolley and shopping basket should be kept outside (in-front of the coffee shop). Wheelchair accessible. Fast service.

Visitamos la cafetería de BB en los molinos de los límites, fuimos uno de los primeros en entrar, la comida estaba caliente, las tazas estaban limpias y teníamos una selección de mesas.

We.had to visit the outdoors shop next to Boundary Mill so thought we'd try this place...big mistake. The furniture and equipment obviously came from the set of Hi-De-Hi, whilst the food was terrible. Congealed beans, leathery bacon, a hash brown that seemed to be made of sawdust and a sausage that tasted like Asda Smart Price had turned down. Avoid at all costs.

Very surprised to read the bad reviews. Visited mid afternoon before shopping and had salad of which I was asked which items I required along with a large square of corned beef pie. The pie was heated for me with no problem. Hot chocolate to drink was fine. Friends had jacket potatoes with salad and tea and they were also happy. Prices no more expensive than any other coffee shop. Staff friendly and tables and cutlery clean. Will definitely use again.

Having stood in a very long queue for nearly 20 minutes shuffling slowly along when I finally reached the hot food counter there was 1 woman serving the food she was dolloping out salads and trying to keep things moving however a gap opened up between me and the man in front when 2 of the most obnoxious despicable loathsome people walked straight into the queue. I politely tried to explain there was a very long queue but was met with abuse from the disgusting little man who told me in a local action I’ve been coming here for years and we don’t queue because we only want drinks I then looked at the rest of the queue and asked if there was anybody behind just wanting drinks at which point several people moved in which then caused chaos. When I ordered my hot food I went to take my rightful place in the queue only to be manhandled by this pair of troglodytes if this is North East hospitality then it needs a good dose of reality. If people (term used loosely) like these are the norm I won’t be back the staff at the till weren’t really bothered about asking people to queue properly only one member of staff said in hushed tones it’s one queue for everything. Having gone through this awful ordeal the food when it arrived was awful the drinks were Luke warm and the tables were covered in discarded crockery. Give this place a miss and leave it to Mr and Mrs nasty it’s about their level.

The cafe at Boundary Mills is like stepping back in time to a 1970's British Rail buffet car. Dry looking unadorned sandwiches, the skinniest quiches and tray bakes you could possibly bake and large coffees that are only large if you are a borrower. So much potential but needs dragging into this century.

I'm stood in the queue now. I've already waited 30 mins to get served for hot food. The way through tills are laid out you have people having hot drinks who are pushing in front of those with hot food creating a longer queue so now our food is cold. Won't ever eat here again.

Well todays visit to BB's Coffee Shop was TERRIBLE!!! We ordered a cheese toastie at 5pm with a pot of tea but it still had not arrived by 5.10pm so I asked if it would be much longer. No apology just a shout to the kitchen saying where is the toastie then member of staff just walked away without saying anything else. My mother then in her eighties went to ask another 5 minutes later and again no apology or food. Finally when we had finished our drinks when the toastie turned up after 20 minutes from ordering it with no explanation or apology. The coffee shop was NOT busy at this time infact when we ordered there was noone behind us waiting to be served. I could understand it it was busy or a large meal ordered but a simple toastie takes minutes and a sorry for the delay would of been nice. Not impressed having food 20 minutes after our drinks!!! Customer service 1 out of 10 if that!!!

Despite having masses of people through the doors of Boundary Mills, they don't seem to realise how good it would be to have a decent cafe for their visitors. I have been here several times before and wasn't very impressed, however things have definitely gone downhill. Staff were rather offhand and miserable. Food on hotplates were dried out and looked very unappealing. Ordered cheese and onion toasties which came cold and with several dried out brown lettuce leaves a slice of cucumber and a wedge of tomato. £3.95!! Tables were left with clutter and the place looked a shambles and run down. The coffee shop and staff could do with refreshing. If only the food and drink looked like the pictures on the website it would make it a more pleasurable place to visit.

I,ve visited this café several times for coffee, hoping that the service has improved, but sadly it hasn,t.Tables are not cleared very quickly.meaning customers have to move used plates, cups etc to other tables.and wipe down their own table before using it,especially at busy times. The coffee is still weak and watery, and the food mediocre at best,It,s a shame because the store itself attracts bus loads of visitors,so the opportunities are there.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting amazing things from BBs and I suppose, then, at least it didn't disappoint. It's basic in what's on offer and the prices are at the high end of an in store cafe. Sandwiches were ok, corned beef pasty could have done with being heated. Cakes were moist enough but edible. Milk (real milk) was available on request and for no extra charge. Staff looked very 'school dinner-lady/person esque' in that they didn't want to be there. Bit off-putting. Anyway, that said, I probably would go back for the reason i will probably be shopping in Boundary Mills again.

Iv had a bad fortune of visiting this place a number of times due to work, the food has never been good every time but Iv popped in on my breaks because of the convenience, after today never again, I bought a bacon and sausage sandwich and bottle of Coke and payed, sat at my table for the guy at the till to come over. Tell me the discount they applied to my meal was mistaken and not for contractors, he then demands I pay the extra as he pick up my plate and bottle and starts to walk towards the till, I was confused and angry because I'd already paid. Like it or not those items were already mine the purchase had been done and it was too late to take it back! I was given the choice of paying the extra or loosing it, I demanded a refund and I'll never be going in there again! As for the food! AVOID at all costs you just need to look at it! as it looks as bad as it tastes!

We took my 92-year-old mother for a short day out to the Boundary Mill outlet near Newcastle. She likes that sort of thing. After picking out a few things for her birthday, we all retreated to the BB Cafe in the store. Although some of the sweet items seemed a bit pricey, we all settled for a mediocre sandwich and cake, accompanied by a cup of tea each.

My wife has been a regular visitor to the Boundary Mill in Colne, Lancashire and has always been impressed by the cafes there. On the strength of this, we went into this cafe for lunch. There was an unappealing selection of sandwiches and a few hot dishes that looked even worse - some corned beef hash that I could only identify by a process of elimination (although it gave me a flashback to school dinners) and some dried-up lasagne. We cut our losses and had cheese and onion toasties which, eventually, were served with salad without dressing and with almost raw onion inside.

BBs is a handy cafe inside the outlet. Generally plenty tables and a few soft seats. Tables cleared and cleaned regularly. We usually only have tea or coffee and these are ok - they give you extra water if you want it. You can take as much time as you want and keep your shopping close by.

We called into BBs before looking around shop and moving onto a Ford Dealership near to BBs. We had black coffee and cheese scones . The coffee is always piping hot and nice big cheese scones very tasty. The resturant is always nice and clean and always busy , that tells you its ok . There are plenty of tables and staff clearing them continually . Great place for a pit stop for breakfast , mid morning coffee and lunches.

Pleasant café in a very busy retail establishment. I visited with a friend and we had a nice lunch. Cold and hot food on sale from baked potatoes with every topping you could ask for to cold sandwiches. Prices are reasonable and there is always sufficient seating to cater for this busy café.

Had a couple of pizza and one beer and one zero alcohol beer. Bill came to £35 which I thought was expensive as the drinks were £12.50. Pizza were average but the service food. Too expensive for me so won’t be rushing back.

They’re charged me £18 for a large fish and chips, it was possible one of the smallest fish and chips iv ever had. I was still hungry after it, chips were nice, but I won’t be going back. I understand why people go to the willow instead, you pay for the quality & quantity.
