Great service station,extremely convenient as a pit stop between York and Scotland.They have a petrol station as well with a convenience store,they also have a greggs and a Burger King with toilets which was great.They even have a travelodge hotel.Greggs was fantastic,very friendly staff and great to fill you up with their pop chips.They have a variety of food and drink available.

The most disgraceful, stinking, disease ridden dump I've ever been to. 40k miles per year and I have never experienced anything like this place until today. Shared toilets. Men taking explosive dumps in the next cubicle to women and girls. Wading through urine in single space toilets about 5 foot from Greggs People were actually buying and consuming food here.

This service area would win any award for "The worst service area in the U.K. " If you happen to be stopping to use the toilet some cautionary advice is offered from our recent visit. Despite the Motorway signage advising of the service area facilities including toilets, as you turn in, there are large signs intimating "Toilets for customer use only". Once in, the only area we saw that may have been housing the Toilets was a Burger King. & Greggs. Both small and the entire area was spartan. Decor well past its sell by date and minimal seating in both outlets. Greggs had very little choice compared to their normal High St shops and queued out so over to next door Burger King which was quieter. Approaching the counter to order, the assistant grunted and pointed towards a couple of ordering machines. What a great demonstration of hospitality!!! After ordering, we were served pretty quickly, food was ok but rather overloaded with Mayo. A visit to the toilet was revealing. 2 male & 2 female Cubicles . Hand washing inside the cubicles and faulty driers outside, totally unhygienic and according to my female partner, the fe mail toilet was 'disgusting'. As I had a medical condition, I am able to use the disabled facilities. This toilet is slightly better than the others however the alarm cord would only be able to be pulled if you were& foot tall or standing on the toilet bowl. The cord is dangling about 4" from the ceiling so pretty help anyone taking unwell or collapsing onto the floor. All in all. A pretty dismal area you would be best NOT stopping at.

Duty manager served me , not very approachable, no smile or good morning, waited less than 10 mins which was ok for my order ,had to ask for suger and salt as none around and wasnt asked if i needed any , 1 order machine out of order . Not a very clean shop , wibdows were rotten , funny smell to the place , drainy smell in toilets Wont be returning

Burger King at these servuces are appalling. Food is warm at best and it needs shut down!!!! Macdonalds is just along the road which is way better. Customer service is appalling l. The o ly way that place has got 5 stars on the door is they have had prior warning , if head office or food standards just showed up they wiuld be shocked!

We stopped here on our way north and then by mistake again on our way back south. This has to be the scruffiest and most litter-strewn service area in the country. A disgrace to the owners and local council.

Stopped at Greggs for some food with my partner and was greeted by two lovely members of staff who couldn’t be more helpful. I ordered a bbq toastie and a hot drink and my partner got a ham and cheese baguette which he got heated up and instead of us standing round and waiting for our food to be heated up they brought it over for us with napkins and sugar for our coffees. The shop was very clean and staff friendly. Will definitely be returning! Thank you girls

Stopped here with my elderly father for food/ toilet. The place is filthy. 1 filthy toilet and not a clean table in the burger king despite being empty. Bins overflowing and staff uninterested.

The scruffiest litter-strewn services you will ever experience. Avoid for the sake of your mental health.

Stopped for quick coffee break. Car park full of rubbish, services uninviting. Whilst drinking coffee in our car another car pulled up with 2 Irish men who asked us if we wanted to buy a TV! Would advise do not use these services and if you do keep your car doors locked

An oasis of luxury ! I was blown away by the sheer quality of the customer service. Spotlessly clean, plenty of high quality catering outlets. Honestly one of the most rewarding service’s experiences i’ve ever encountered. Five stars! And if i could give six i would !

Just visited for the third time and to be honest on each visit have been beyond astonished at the lack of customer service. The way the staff speak to customers is almost humorous it’s so bad. rating 5 on the door not sure I agree.My advice if you need to make a stop just keep driving for the next set of services.

Don.t stop here. There were no toilet facilities available anywhere on site. Staff very unhelpful. Sorry doesn't help when you need a pee!

I had the misfortune to use the petrol forecourt run by RONTEC ROADSIDE RETAIL LIMITED. The toilets hadn't been inspected for over 32 hours as evidenced by their own toilet inspection log. No soap or hot water available. Water leaking over the floor - RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC - Rontec Roadside Retail Limited should be ashamed of themselves and need the wroth of a public health inspection. DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR CUSTOM.

Gran cartel que ofrece WC exterior.Cuando esté adentro, letrero que diga que no hay baños abiertos para los clientesEs una vergüenza total. ¿Cómo se supone que las familias con niños o personas mayores deben afrontar los viajes cuando los servicios no ofrecen lo que los carteles dicen que ofrecen?Se supone que los servicios ofrecen baños.Este llamado sitio de servicio debería estar cerrado.

Just visited this service station to be greeted by a cataclysmic amount of litter reminiscent of a rubbish dump. Not a good 1st impression when visiting either the Travel Lodge, Burger King or Greggs.

Estoy horrorizado por el estado de estos servicios. Los baños eran malolientes y antihigiénicos. El aparcamiento estaba lleno de basura, no podía creerlo. Algo hay que hacer al respecto, era un problema marginal de salud pública. No es de extrañar que este mundo siga como está.

tenga ofertas de comidas que no funcionen, ponga los precios de venta debajo del vino y cuando vaya hasta el precio completo, y la falta de inglés cuando se queje. Confían en pasar los precios comerciales para que no vuelvas, me quedé en el hotel de al lado, así que pude, pero como fue al día siguiente, el tipo se negó a hablar inglés, lo cerró.

Ok, es un lugar desagradable afuera y rápidamente se metió dentro. . Pero el personal amable y eficiente que sirve el menú confiable y barato estándar confiable. Este lugar ha tenido críticas y el edificio es una basura, pero dale una oportunidad a estos encantadores empleados. . Estoy muy ocupado con los equipos de camionetas blancas, pero está bien para compartir un almuerzo rápido con mi hermana discapacitada. . . También hay comida rápida de Burger King si lo prefieres.Obviamente no es un restaurante. . tan buena comida es poco probable. . pero es tan bueno como muchos greggs y reyes de hamburguesas. . nb greggs es bueno para vegetarianos y veganos. . Tuve un muy buen queso y salmuera toastie

Car park covered in litter. Choice of Greggs or Burger King. Toilets an utter disgrace, filthy. One member of staff in Greggs very helpful and pleasant otherwise a miserable experience never to be repeated.

Rats running riot in the car park. Very tired and dingy inside; we didn’t fancy our chances on the food at Burger King based on the interior. Toilets were clean but would only return if desperate. Previous other reviews show this place still hasn’t improved and is in need of a facelift and clean. Opposite at the garage is a much better option.

El banner mintiendo y la desaliñada exterior desenganchados debería haber proporcionado una advertencia de que no todo es como debería ser en este conveniente servicio de autopista en la A1/A19 roundabour en Seaton Burn.Sin embargo, nos preguntábamos y girado a la derecha hacia los aseos. Mala cosa. La planta tanto en el de los hombres y las mujeres fue sembrado de papel y el suelo en los hombres fue cubierto con botas sucias de cuadros. No nos gusta la zona de claustrofobia y caminamos hacia el café Burger King. Las mesas no estaban despejadas de comida y papel y patatas fritas ere esparcidos en el suelo. No es lo que uno quiere ver en un restaurante. Aún así, el personal estaba bien, era sólo y bebidas nos después, pagamos y nos fuimos. Sin embargo, volveré sólo en caso de emergencia.
