Costa Coffee in North Tyneside

Love been lectured about long black , they are not on the menu,all I asked was to run the water through the coffee until it was half full,3 attempts later bingo.i was very clear in what asked .coffee was nice in the end .cheers

Not possible to buy a quick coffee. Counter queue held up by non coffee and fancy coffee orders! Busy.

Tasted like dirty dish water, ordered a latte with caramel….. they’re was no caramel just scolding hot water with a hint of burnt coffee I will never use again! £4.80 for a coffee? Must be mad!

The coffee was good, the food a little bland(as cheese and ham toastie) the location is just on the edge of a shopping park so ambiance was not fantastic. How ever the service was good and the coffee was nice.

The staff are lovely! The service can not be faulted. I’ve never had to wait for my drink and they’ve always been hot which is nice as nobody likes cold coffee. I did have an issue with one staff member however that was rectified immediately by the manager who is lovely. Shout out to all of the staff there as they are lovely and it’s their attitude that makes me want to come back. 5 stars well worth it.

Very slow service ,packed with people just sitting ,so no seats .coffee was luke warm and screaming children didn't help ,with adults shouting to be heard over the noise .won't go back

I was very surprised with this Costa coffee as I just thought it was a drive-through. didn't realise you sit in. Lovely coffee and cake and the staff were helpful and constantly cleaning the tables

As per Costa the food and drinks are standard fare and most of the staff are generally friendly. However, a few things spoil the experience: the noise is way too loud, from the machines, music and people especially when busy. Can only think the building deflects much of sound back to ground level. The counter is way too narrow, considering multiple people are being served at the same time and the trays are precariously balanced. Getting from the counter to your table when the place is busy is awkward and dangerous. It's a slalom to get to several of the tables and worryingly so, because carrying hot drinks could easily be spilled on seated customers. It's all very strange considering this is a dedicated building for Costa

I didn’t eat. I just had a Latte. People do what they come there for but very pleasant as I sat in the surrounding facilities.

Nice girl served me first and then a woman who looked older was really cheeky when asked if everything we ordered was in the bag when she gave it to us. Very passive aggressive and rude with unnecessary attitude. If she actually payed attention to the food we ordered she would’ve actually cooked it properly. Everything cold and soggy and she looked completely clueless.

Small Costa but went at right time with 6year old granddaughter so relaxing today.

Friendly staff, plenty of tables, one of the cleanest Costa I've been too. Even with the drive through, I didn't have to wait in line too long inside.

The regular server there is very nice. I think she is called Georgia. I enjoy sitting in and enjoying a coffee and a Rocky Road biscuit 🍪 food obviously is not very cheap as it's Costa but it's lush.

It is definitely a blessing to see Costa near Aldi 😊 Long queue, but very fast service. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking space. Would love to visit again! Restroom wasn’t that clean though!!!

Went yesterday through the drive thru with my partner and new born. Ellie on collection had a smile on her face and went above and beyond what you would expect to offer the best customer service. 5* and I will be returning

This has got to be my favourite Costa, no matter what time you go, sit in or take away, you're always greeted with a smile. The staff are lovely and always go the extra mile, something out of stock they'll suggest dupes and there's extra kindness where usually people do not go the extra mile. If only all Costas were like this one.

Like most outlets it's getting a bit pricey. Great place but expensive.

Do not go here. On evening of Thursday 6th Jan 2022 I encountered the most rude staff I've ever met. Got the order completely wrong, were abrupt, sarcastic and had no manners what so ever. Terrible service and always on their phone (WhatsApp) instead of serving customers. Sorry like but these 4 members of staff need to be sacked. It's a real shame because this has ruined the reputation of Costa. I strongly recommend that no one go here ever!

Its always my go to because its close to home, but my biggest gripe is that they never put chocolate on my cappuccino when I go through the drive thru. They ask me, I say yes please, and then they give me it without chocolate. Bit hit and miss for phone signal too.

Timed well for a quite sit down coffee & cake (1600). Service was very friendly & the tables kept clean.

Smashing place. Friendly and attentive staff that tend to make a better brew than your average Costa. You'll be welcomed with a nice attitude, they'll learn your preferred drink and be ready for you if you're frequent enough. Quiet place inside generally as well.

Ordered via the drive thru a large white hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, didn't have any cream, I'm okay with that, but got my drink, tastes like hot milk and nothing else, no marshmallows, was disappointed. Positive - least it was hot and the staff polite

A drive through, that you can drive through. In a decent location. Not a lot more to say though. Although i should mention the incredible contraption they use to move the goods from their window into yours...

My wife has just been to this drive through and the order she received is a disgrace - firstly the girl gave her 2 small coffees when she paid for large , then got the order completely wrong ( I ended up with some full fat milk white coffee and she asked for black ) and my wife has the small wrong order poured into a large cup ,wrong order again and it looks disgusting - the service is quite frankly appalling

Amazing service Amy was very helpful and replaced my faulty costa cup with no issue I I now get a hot coffee as being a single mum you have no chance of having one without an insulated cup. Thanks so much to Amy.

Terrible customer service. Not allowed to use reusable cups inside the takeaway. Sometimes you are and sometimes not. Inconsistent venue. Make up your mind!

I always get a large signature latte sugar free caramel syrup every day and andrew is by far the best barrista, coffee is always 10/10 got to say if coffee isn't made my Andrew i can tell always brings it to the collection point always happy and full of enthusiasm

Rude staff. Placed an order through too good to go only to be told the manager had cancelled. She hadn't. App states 2 hours needs to be given to cancel. Tried to advise staff the app still showed the order only to be outright ignored. Mistakes get made, I understand that. But its courteous to correct the mistake and at least be polite. It costs nothing.

Usually love this Costa as it’s so convenient and great quality drinks/food. Have been getting the festive drinks at the drive thru since they came out and haven’t had the chocolate orange sweet or gingerbread (that are supposed to go with the signature drinks) yet! On the odd occasion they have given me a chocolate coin which I am assuming is to replace one of the missing items? Whilst this may seem trivial, I feel it is Important that customers are getting what is advertised/they are paying for as this is part of the drink. Surely it’s as simple as ordering more to ensure they have stock (there is a B & M over the carpark that was stocking chocolate oranges all over the Xmas period) The girls that work there are so professional and friendly so this is not a deflection of the brilliant and hard work they always do with a smile but the issue is more around management/ordering 😊

So impressed with the service here today. Despite it being New Year's Day, and the drive-thru being absolutely rammed, the staff were so perky, professional and helpful. Lauren and Amy (?) served us, and they were just gorgeous. So kind and chatty, ran to open the door for us with our hands full, and dealt with our large and tricky order with grace and good humour. Thank you so much to them and their colleagues for their hard work and enthusiasm in difficult times. So grateful.
