Walking into the pub was welcoming, the staff were all very friendly. Service was fast and efficient.

Jemma was fantastic, she was really friendly and knowledgable of the menu.

Food was lovely, served by Steph’s team behind bar, who were quick, accommodating and friendly, checked up to see how food was, very attentive. In sports section of pub which was quieter but that was good for personal preference. Lovely experience overall.

Abbie was amazing great service as well as steph and Shannon. Abbie and steph had great table service and made everything was good at the table and Shannon made sure everything was good at the bar and gave great service on the bar. And all had good attitude

Had a lovely meal with friends at The Kings Arms last night. We were served by Jemma who was very welcoming and attentive. She checked if everything was alright with our meals and that we were all happy. I would definately recommend The Kings Arms and thank you Jemma for making our night a great one.

Nice pub for a lazy meal. Enjoy the cheese burger and Pepsi. Kids menu provides. Kind and sincere is the key to success for a restaurant other than the food imho, they do it nicely and I hope that it would be perfect in the coming future. Recommend.

Visited with family as we’ve just moved to the area so this will be our local, because I booked our table online they then sent me an email to ask how my experience was and shannon promptly messaged me back to say thank you for my email, normally never get a response to any review etc so I was so impressed that she took the time to chat, we’ll definitely be going back and taking the kids and grandkids, good atmosphere to.

Good website; easy to book on-line; 30% discount very welcome! Staff were patient and helpful, with attention to details re our order. Food arrived surprisingly quickly, was well-cooked and presented and each of us enjoyed our respective choices. Bearing in mind how varied the customers were, the aforementioned is even more impressive! Thank you for making a special occasion extra-special!

I loved it so much we have been two days running very accommodating with our requests and plenty of vegan options that taste absolutely amazing I have had the ultimate stacker burger this time and hands down the best burger I have ever had !! Have visited the kings arms from the day it opened then it was the shire horse had a reverb now it’s the kings arms the thing that hasn’t changed is Steph a really hard working member of staff always pleasant and greets you with a smile and looks after you from entering to leaving she really is an asset to the company from serving drinks to the lovely food can’t praise Steph and the rest of the staff enough. Came early for the Newcastle spurs match and for being an early kick off the atmosphere was great. Food still came quickly despite being busy and some of the friendliest staff around! 10/10

This is the second time in 2 weeks we have eaten here mainly because its very local. Food is sub-standard Frozen not fresh chips are awful. Mixed grill mediocre taking it home for the dogs. Wong be eating here again until quality and menu re greatly improved.

On arrival, immediately shown to a table and provided with menu. Ordering (and paying!) no problem and straightforward. Meal arrived in good time and was well presented and hot. Could not fault the gammon (tender and juicy), egg, chip or pineapple - half a tomato seems niggardly (but seems to be the norm with this dish at other restaurants?). The cider and lemon and lime drinks were good value

We have just been for Mother’s Day and the service was impeccable. Our food was brought out promptly and was absolutely delicious! A lovely lady called Steph looked after us and was so thorough and helpful - providing a top service - alongside the manager Josh who also went out of his way to grab my little boy not one but two flakes when he wanted one on his pudding! We have only been once before but will definitely be returning again. Lovely bar and lovely food.

Fun night at the quiz ( music a little bit loud) Enjoyed a meal first. Gluten free choice could be bigger but at least your staff are aware

We visited on Thursday and Shannon went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 12 at short notice. Food came hot and delicious and all meals came at the same time, which was amazing! Another visit on Saturday saw Steph going out her way to make sure we had a decent table to watch the match and her service was second to none. Thanks so much! We will be back!

The food was great price, size and taste. The server (Jemma) was friendly and advised us to get discounts online. The atmosphere was quite and relaxed.

First time here, but certainly not the last. Two fussy kids really enjoyed their food, as did us 3 adults. Menu is really decent for any appetite, even the smaller meals were canny size! Service was great! Fabulous to meet a fellow JEMMA with a J! Which we did have a giggle about. She's lovely, give her a bonus this week!! Will definitely be back!

Possibly the worst and smallest Roast beef dinner I've ever had. Tablespoon of mashed potato, 3 roasties, teaspoon of cabbage 3 carrots 2 small slices of beef all covered by a big Yorkshire. Will not be back for a Sunday lunch and certainly won't be reccomending it to anyone.

The food is amazing the drinks are great the pub is family friendly and amazing atmosphere and the pool table and darts is great to play on, they also do amazing Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday food deals and they also have weekly night time things on such as dart night quiz night and others I would recommend this place

First night of the new menu, it didn’t disappoint. Chicken kebab, mac n cheese were lovely. Salted caramel cookie brownie to die for! Pub was busy, Steph served us with smile on her face & great service.

I like the idea of ordering from the table via the app. Waitress was friendly and we didn’t wait too long for the mains. The only criticism was that the desserts took a little longer than normal so had to wait for them. Food was nice, hot and just the right portion sizes for the price I paid.

Been here a few times for food cannot fault it. The food is amazing, the staff are really happy and friendly especially Julia who never seems to stop. This is our favourite pub to come to also very family friendly.

Best Christmas Dinner I've had in a pub, nice and hot all veg was fresh no sign of any thing frozen, all family served together even the veggie and the vegan dinners perfect, to all the wonderful well mannered staff, very attentive as well. Santas breakfast experiance was good but the breakfast itself was poor tasteless and beans were ice cold, no mushrooms etc not worth the £8. Orders shouldve been placed for kids at purchase. as my child doesnt eat english breakfasts and went hungry. Also people using same cups and double dipping a cup they just drank out of meaning people shared spoons possibly spreading germs. Staff on the other hand were brilliant but it felt squashed all crammed into a corner

Went here today for Breakfast with Santa, had a great time, little 1 loved it. Fab atmosphere, staff were brilliant nothing was a problem for them. Steph was fantastic. Well & truly worth the money. Keep up the great work guys! We will be back!
