Curry munchie box was good apart from spicy chips were a let down

After seeing this place on social media. Thought we’d try it out and Ordered the Curry Munch Box with extra madras sauce, poppadoms & Pickle tray, £28.90. The munch box says enough for 2-3 people, wildly optimistic. The sheek kebab was so salty I had to spit it out, the madras sauce was so thick and nothing like a madras I’ve had anywhere. Chicken was tough. Overall it wasn’t very nice, easily the worst Indians we’ve had.

Tried this indian takeaway a couple of weeks ago and we were very impressed. The owner was very friendly, he chatted to us while we waited for our food. We ordered three meals and all were delicious, full of flavour, spices and the right amount of heat/spice we asked for. Even the rice was so flavoursome. We love indian food and this is definitely one if the best we have been to in a long time. Lovely family run business who have been there over 30 years. We will be back :-)

First time iv used this place tonight and it will be the last, got onion bhaji which were over cooked very dark brown and hard, it fell to bits when i picked it up. I got a curry naan bread aswell and that was soggy.

Fresh hot flavourful food like having a party in your mouth! Ordered the Tikka Nan kebab and the curry Nan kebab. Great friendly service not long to wait for food to be prepared. Definitely going back for more highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely. My mother got chicken pakora and unfortunately couldn't have it because of onion but everything was delightful

Lamb madras. Lamb chewy and tough. But not a lot of it. Sauce. Just appeared to be lentil based with heat and I think a lot of vinegar. Not the best and not to be repeated.

First time using this takeaway as our usual one was closed. Staff very friendly and attentive both on the phone and in person. Food was piping hot, tasted great and you got a considerable amount for the money. Would defo recommend to anyone else who enjoys Indian food and will defo be using the shiremoor tandoori again.....fantastic!!!

Still nice food after lockdown at the momment ,,yum, but NO need to go back to un eco vile 70s polestyrene packaging for a bit of chips in this day and age ,,,? Off putting ,,but lovely dishes i must admit ,,
