batter was like plastic very oily chips were not crispy at all, soggy only decent part was the curry sauce

I order from this place atleast once a week. Last few times has been late. And this time it’s been 1hour 45 minutes which is too long to wait in my opinion. Food wasn’t hot now also and really disappointed with tonight as its cost me £15 and it’s late, cold and not enjoyable after the wait.

Chips were cold and definitely didn’t taste fresh. Kebab had lots of burt parts. Shame.

First and last time I ordered from here , food was cold , chicken and kebab was dry , portions are extremely small , left us with bad stomachs .

Just waited an hour and 15 minutes for chips to be delivered to Forest Hall. I was told delivery would 30-45 minutes. Food arrived cold and inedible. Chips dried up and hard and sausage like rubber. Absolutely disgusting. Do not order from these.

The mix grill was terrible, I threw it in the bin and I will never order it again

Forgot bottle of pop with order, wrong flavour pop for the bairn. Gravy pot was smashed so gravy all over, fish batter felt hard on some ends pre ordered meal 1 hour before delivery starts explains the lukewarm meal but all in all it was alright

Too expensive for what you get aswell as the chips looks like you got them the day before there's better places than this

Ordered Scampi and chips. Never have I had such an abysmal meal in my life!! The so called Scampi isn't proper Scampi and the chips were very dry. The tartare sauce isn't even Tartare. It looks it but that's where it ends.

Warned that it was going to be late, so not a problem. Excellent fish and chips well worth the wait.

I don’t usually order a chippy but I decided that I would go and order one I had a medium fish and chips with a battered sausage. My partner had a wrap which he said was nice. But the fish and the sausage just tasted weird the the point I didn’t even eat the sausage and only ate half of the fish only to be woken up later on feeling extremely ill. I won’t consider ordering from her anytime soon

Ordered a kebab with chips and salad and it came with a handful of chips see pic, pizza was bread with tomato puree poor toppings, overall a disappointing takeaway won't be back

I am gutted to say but by far the worst kebab meat and chips i have ever had, It is swimming in grease and i have woke up the next day with the most awful pains in my stomach, the garlic sauce was like water too. Gutted as really wanted to enjoy it but literally just about to go to the toilet and scared to see what comes out.

Both items were cold. The munchie box was missing both sauces and a completely incorrect kebab was sent. All went in bin. Never ordering again!

the chips were rubbery like they were a day old, the burgers were nice and the fish was OK but all ruined by the chips

This establishment SCAMS their customers. In the Deliveroo app, large donner kebab is supposed to come with chips AND salad. It only came with chips. I called them asking if they could give us some salad as it was missed out in the order. They said no as it is supposed to be an option. Apparently I should know that it does not come with both as they have been doing this for years (despite it being my first time ordering from them) and it will not cover their costs if it comes with both. I told them they should have given us a call if it was an option, they blamed it on Deliveroo. The app is messed up apparently. I asked for a refund and they laughed at me. I've worked in a restaurant before. You put the choices in yourself so it is definitely not Deliveroo's fault. ******I called Deliveroo and got my money back. Please do this everyone! Don't let them scam you!********* Otherwise, Chips were awful - soggy and mushed with the donner kebab in a paper packaging. They are so cheap they won't even buy boxes. Battered sausage was soggy with oil and tasteless. Donner kebab was actually good. Not too oily. But they did ruin my night, I don't earn enough to get takeaways often. Maybe once a fortnight.

This is the second time I have ordered fish and chips, the first time they were lovely, and batter just as I like it, crisp and soggy, this time the batter was too crispy and the chips, had more chip ends than actual full chips, the fish was beautiful. A bit disappointed this time round, sorry

Forgot our chips from the Pizza Deal and I don’t think I can get a refund through the app because it’s classed as one item on the menu. Pizza and garlic bread was really good though, wouldn’t stop me ordering again 😆 I’ll try the chips one day

1 hour to 1 hour twenty is a bit excessive. Kebab chips an salad, mountain of salad very few chips. Pot of chilli sauce missing. Arrived cold - went in the bin.

Food delivered on time according to the website but I think 1 hour - 1 hour 20 min wait is a bit long for fast food. Food from here is usually great but tonight chips were very greasy to the point I couldn’t stomach them and fish cake was hard felt like it had been cooked and cooked and rebooked too many times. Disappointing

Pizza should of had curry on it didn't. Asked for burger with no cheese came with cheese. Garlic sauce like water, everything was full of greese, not sure if under new chef/management but never been this bad.

Kebab did not taste nice.. ordered salad with chicken burger and none provided. Would not eat from here again.

The food we received was shocking when I first opened the bag it was covered in mushy peas, which was like soup and went in the bin. The fish looked lovely but tasted weird, and a lot of the chips were hard and undercooked. we were very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again

Massive freshly cooked fish and chips. Not keen on the fishcake but I am used to the Yorkshire version!

Food was good tasty as always, love the lamb chops from here, but far too often we choose with chips and it’s forgotten like they were again this time, which is disappointing because it’s such a minor thing that kinda ruined what would be a great experience. Don’t want to complain because of how good the food is but it’s just a bit annoying.

Everything was okay apart from the fact we ordered mushy peas but what we actually got when it came was a tub of green and pale green peas in water.

It said 45 to 65 mins and was here in 15mins I was well impressed

Placed an order well in advance for a set time and it was delivered over 30 mins late. Food was okay, the salad only consisted of red cabbage and onion. Kebab and chips were really greasy.

I’ve had good food from here in the past but I’ve been told it is under new management. I ordered scampi and chips and it was awful. The chips looked and tasted about 3 days old and I couldn’t find the scampi inside all of the greasy batter. I also ordered a tub of ice cream which wasn’t delivered so I had to contact them. Sorry but need to vastly improve before I order from them again

I ordered at 9:15 and it came at 10:17 The food was cold and horrible so I ended up just putting it in the bin
