Food is generally good, although they do sometimes mix orders resulting in literally a 'mixed bag' of food. Where this place let's it down is service, there seems to be nobody who is in charge and the staff seem poorly trained. They don't even know their own menu and ordering is often a chore - the iPad till set up should be fairly straightforward to use but even this confuses their front of house staff. Top marks for the Katsu Curry, and the wraps are good.

Out for a walk on the Quayside with my wife, just dropped in for a coffee and a croissant, actually I had a hot chocolate,my wife loved the coffe, the croissant was delicious. My wife took the opportunity to use the loo which she described as immaculate. When we finished — disaster, or so I thought . Before we parked the car my wife asked if I had my cards, “ Yes of course I have “ so she left hers in the car with her cards and phone.I of course didn’t have my cards, what an idiot ! I had Google Wallet on my phone but had never used it so a very patient and pleasant young man ( I’m 74) helped me out. We will call again, it was lovely and we may have a proper meal next time.🤠

Went for Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious. Beautiful beef with delicious veg, especially the leek gratin. We all had main and dessert so can’t comment on the starters. Definitely worth the money and only good manners prevented me from licking the plate. I’m not a wine drinker but my dining companions were happy with the wine and I’m always happy with G & T. Excellent service and lovely ambience. We will definitely be back.

No doubt, this is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the northeast. We love Indian food and have tried so many Indian restaurants all around England. I say this is in the top 3 ! The food is amazingly tasty and the staffs are very friendly. The atmosphere is very good too.

Gave up waiting for a table at the biscuit factory so thought we’d try here. Had a club sandwich and carrot cake. Top notch food and quick service. Highly recommended
