No Sunday dinner, and after ordering from the main menu which let's be fair is mainly bough in, took an age to arrive. that coupled with twi groups on the same table ordering together. one set came out and we had finished before the other set of food cake out. tables left uncleared for an age customer service was poor. we are locals and we loblve a few drinks here but the food and service are terrible

Lovely food and service cheap and cheerful if you want something nice and cheap. Definitely recommend if you want a nice meal. For example steak or hunters chicken.

For fantastic food, great drink and super service trot along to the Coach and Horses. As a regular, I recently hosted a lunch - my guests were most impressed by the delicious fayre, clean comfortable surroundings and outstanding service (also great loos!). We are already planning our next visit. The only negative is that dogs are allowed alongside diners. Overall, a great hospitality experience. You may find yourself staying longer than you meant to - I always do!

Went in for breakfast today, it was amazing value, Well presented and tasted really good. The place is dog friendly but big enough to sit away from the dogs if you’re not a dog person…. Clean and tidy and staff are so friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back with the school mams for breakfast and my sons already spotted a meal he wants for tea one night.

Our pensioners meals were well presented and very attractive on the plate. I found my fish tasteless so maybe it's Pollock. But the batter was good

Went here today for beer on Mother’s Day, although sadly I thought I’d not have time to dine but I was wrong- my lifelong pal Steve ordered steak pie and chips and it whizzed out. Looked lovely too. The Coach and Horses has had a quality refit which has made it more open plan than when it was the Travs, and I hope it does very well. I’ve drank in the Travs for 40 years and this is the best I’ve seen it look. Nice decor and furnishings, excellent friendly efficient service experienced today, and seemingly an excellent menu and bar choices. Ding dong 🤜🏻 See you soon, and good luck with your new acquisition 🍻 The Coach and Horses deserves to become a busy local once again. I hope the clientele appreciate the work that’s gone into it and use and respect it accordingly. Nice enough now to even warrant a visit from outside its immediate catchment area 👌🏻🙌🏻

Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Food is great value, and always fresh. Presentation of the food is on point. There’s plenty of parking spaces with easy access. Always welcomed by Daniel, he’s got great crack and customer service.

Excellent breakfast at a very affordable price. James provided an excellent service and with a small child and baby was most very helpful and most pleasant.

Staff are very friendly and create a nice atmosphere. Jess and Jamie were particularly friendly and helpful. Done out really nice and turned around since the refurb. Family, friendly and patient with kids.

Just popped in for a few picky bits and a swift drink on a random early aftenoon. Staff were lovely and the food was very good, the loaded chicken strips were bangin. My mate just lives round the corner and I've noticed they've got some nice spirits on back bar, we'll for sure be coming back on an evening

Amazing staff, Daniel always gets the pints fast and works so hard. Very clean and well priced. Food amazing also and quiz night is also cool.

We couldn’t wait for this pub to reopen as we moved to the area not long prior. The place looks really nice and modern. All of the staff seem really nice. The food is decently priced and they have offers on certain days which is handy to know. The food is nice as well. It’s also dog friendly which is a bonus.

It was great food and nice and cheap. Cheap and cheerful like a Wetherspoons pub. Drinks are good too. It’s nice and clean the toilets were nice. It was local and easy to get to for me it is walking distance. Good pub for a meal close to home.

Very disappointing meal. When we arrived my husband ordered a pint of Guinness, when the barmaid poured it there was a bubble on top. She put her finger in to burst the bubble. Really! I ordered the Xmas fayre meal, after 10 mins the bar tender came over and said there was no turkey. I was offered chicken or beef. When the meal arrived the chicken was like rubber, the parsnips had been in the microwave. The Yorkshire pudding was rock hard and the gravy had lumps of granules in. Nobody came over once to ask how the meal was. I came away and thought £24 for a rubbish meal. I contacted them and was told someone came over to ask about the meal. Which is a lie a women came to the table behind. The lad cleared the table sheepish, they both never said a thing as they both knew the meal was shocking. It’s a shame as it could have been a new local. The food was much better at the White Swan.

Brilliant atmosphere. Great snap . Will definitely be returning, had the steak sandwich and scampi with the 3 for 13 deal as starters all cooked exactly as asked for and dietary requirements taken into account. Top marks thank you.

A lovely local pub to my parents. I was visiting from yorkshire. I brought my puppy in and were welcomed with a friendly hello and even a bowl of water for my puppy. it was quiet with being a lunchtime but the food came quickly and was very tasty. We have booked to come back here for our christmas dinner on boxing day with all the family and the menu has alot of choice for adults and kids. Well worth a place to grab a bite to eat. Great staff and im presuming the guy who booked us in was the manager he was very approachable and friendly. Look forward to our next visit

Love what the new owners have done to the place! Nicely decorated - its clear care and attention has gone into the remodel. We had the vegan burger on the 2 for 1 Tuesday deal which we enjoyed. Looking forward to coming back again.

Lovely newly refurbished bar great selection of beers good service . Prices not too bad so a great asset to the area. The clock is now working too so what’s not to like ?

Brand new refurbishment which has improved the pub no end. We went on its first day and only had drinks. They were very reasonably priced, service was excellent and atmosphere was lovely. I’d highly recommend a visit.
