Extensive outdoor riverside recreation area for dog walkers, cyclists and joggers with children's playground. Plenty parking areas and cafe with toilets. Boating ramp with the occasional seal resting.

Lovely little cafe, extremely kind lady. Florence enjoyed her Easter egg and bunny.

Nice diversity of shops. Large center, not logical in terms of overview (if you are there for the first time). Easily accessible by bus from the center of Newcastle.
