The best restaurants in University Middlesbrough North East

The staff was polite but the main thing, food, was not fresh at all. The curries seem to be made a week ago and just reheated before they gave them to us.

Customer service incredibly rude and unprofessional.

It was not worth the money - we ordered a waffle with cookie dough and strawberries and we were lucky if there were 2 strawberries on it. And hardly any sauce

Excellent food, and great service. I visited with a friend for dinner, and we were not disappointed. My friend loves spicy food and really enjoyed their meal.

Novellos food was beautiful,service was great,food,potato skins are unreal but I left 4 starts because I was asked out by the waiter whilst I'm only 16.

Porthole Coffee Shop delivered a delightful experience with my first Pakistani breakfast, which was nothing short of perfect. The rich, authentic flavors and warm, inviting atmosphere made it a memorable place for me, worth revisiting again!

Undoubtedly, this restaurant serves the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Middlesbrough. However, if you crave chop suey or house specials, this might not be the ideal place for you, as they specialize in more traditional Chinese dishes. They also have a standard English takeout menu, for delivery, but its only ok. However the sit in menu is extensive, featuring various unique dishes such as beef aorta, jellyfish, offal, and chicken feet. During my visit, I ordered the Mongolian lamb, and my partner opted for the braised tofu dish. Both dishes were exceptional.

Food was not to a good standard. Kebab and nuggets were burnt and chips were soggy and Luke warm

I had veg pulavu, fish pollichathu, chicken roast and poratta really taste like authentic Indian food. I never had such a culinary taste of Kerala in Middlesbrough.

Tasteless food, Ordered two 12" pizzas Burnt pizzas, very very less cheese on pizzas and couldn't see toppings. Waste of noney

Good wait time but the pizza tasted doughy and the cheese tasted wrong, the Donna meat tasted so dry

The best South Indian food around northeast

My first time being here, and experiencing Middleborough life. Menu could be written to say which is vegetarian, the Mac&Cheese had small pieces of bacon in it, not good if you don't eat meat, but overall we all had a good time, lovely people and good service.
