The best restaurants in Lambeth London

Yesterday was the first time we went to this place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the courteous service, with the high quality meal and fine drinks and with the friendly cost. We will surely go back there soon.

Excellent food, taste is nice, not over the top spicy which is what I enjoy.

This has been my go to place on the Southbank for 7 years and every time I've been in has been a great experience Food is excellent, menu has a good variety of Turkish and broader Mediterranean dishes and staff are very friendly Great place for meeting friends or family, or for enjoying dinner at the Southbank. Thoroughly recommended and keep up the good work!

I will struggle to find the words to describe my experience with this amazing Italian restaurant. I have flown around the world for work and have had countless "Italian" meals and after a long red eye flight from America I didn't "look" for an amazing meal I was just looking for something close. To my astonishment, I found Cotto. The only thing that caught my eye was another review talking about Tortellini. I love Tortellini so I was in...and better yet 2 min walk from my hotel. The tortellini....omg, hand made and giant. Stuffed with cheese and asparagus. The sauce....Devine. friends....family, you simply must indulge in the Tortellini. I might book a return flight in a couple weeks just to taste these again. Please 🙏 do yourself a favor and put Cotto on your list to visit. I don't know the owners name, but I felt like part of the family as soon as I walked through the door. Make sure to book a reservation ;-) seating is limited....as the best things in life usually are.

Ate outside on the balcony. Food was very good. I had the Atlantic prawns and it was a very decent portion. Became quite busy but service was still good.

Incredible food and service last night. The pork and mussels dish was delicious, possibly the best dish I’ve ever eaten. So good!

Asistí con mi cónyuge después de leer sobre este restaurante. Sin embargo, aunque la decoración es genial la comida que pedimos por el precio simplemente no era lo suficientemente bueno. Comemos fuera todo el tiempo. Pedí la cabra curry. Esto era soso, acuoso y carecía de especias. El Roti podría haber sido una paratha congelada y no auténtica. Mi esposa pensó que su salmón estaba bien. Lamentablemente no volveré.

The SLOWEST service I've ever received. Confusion on orders between staff. Extremely laid back even though I said I was in a hurry to the airport. Their poor hospitality cost me £114 in a cab.

Not been there for 30 or so years. Little change! Enjoyed a light meal of juicy tandoori chicken, some rich mixed vegetables and a delicate peshwari naan. Reasonable price.

Brilliant local - Ben and the gang are superb

Estaba buscando un lugar un poco diferente después de visitar la central eléctrica de Battersea y este lugar no decepcionó. Reservamos una mesa para tres, para las 7 pm y cuando llegamos allí fuimos las primeras personas a través de la puerta. Dado que es un restaurante grande esto fue un poco preocupante, pero para cuando nuestros entrantes habían aparecido el lugar estaba animado y agitado con un gran ambiente. El menú es corto, y no tiene ningún parecido con el de su página web, pero todo suena delicioso, y todo lo que comimos (carne de Madeira, pollo Peri y lubina) estaba delicioso. La carta de vinos era extensa y a un precio razonable. El personal era entusiasta y atento sin ser exagerado. La comida llegó rápidamente y estaba perfectamente cocinado. También es una muy buena relación calidad-precio - pagamos £ 180 por tres entrantes, tres principales, botella de vino, pintas de cerveza, cafés, brandies y una propina del 20% - realmente no puede equivocarse con eso en Londres. Nos fuimos después de dos horas relajados, muy bien lleno. Sin duda volveremos, y lo recomendaremos a todo el mundo. ¡Muchas gracias!
