I went there in April. I was looking for a gourmet burger and I found this place. I absolutely loved the food! The burger was really good and I loved the wings. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good gourmet burger in London.

Absolutely amazing service with mouth watering and tasty HALAL food in unbelievably affordable price. Owner is so generous that provided us with free lamb chops. Trust me it was one of the most succulent and tender lamb chops we ever had. We also ordered house special burgers, sweet potato fries, hot dog and ferero milkshake. Every penny was worth it. Highly recommended to have a weekend trip and treat your loved ones with good food. Good Luck Big Fat Gourmet!!!

I thought this was a decent hamburger, and, for a primarily take away joint, quite a nice place to sit to eat it. They have spent a few pennies doing up the small restaurant area, and the staff seem efficient and courteous. Don’t get me wrong, this is not fine-dining, but compared to the alternatives in the area, this is certainly a cut above. My only criticism is the smokiness in the air from the frying fat of the open kitchen area. Like most places of this type, they need better extraction fans, or at least to keep the fans they have clean! Thank goodness it was summer, and I was ask them to open the front door.

Needed a less expensive place for a quick eat, and especially the Ferrero Rocher milkshake kicked ass. The burger was nice with wholesome, thick beef inside. The place may not look much from the street, but it worked out just fine, and the staff was friendly.

Amazing burgers, grills and shakes! A wonderful restaurant just a few minutes walk from Wansdworth Road Overground Station. The food selection is amazing with some nice touches such as homemade sauces, unique seasonings and not to mention, the super delicious lamb chops! All burger patties are hand made and cooked to the style of the customer. I had mine done medium rare and man, were they juicy! The owners were very friendly people who made sure I was happy with my meal. The sweet potato fries were very tasty on their own and together with the handmade dips they were just perfect. Burgers and food here are amazing just a shame the price is so high but I can fault them on anything else.

Great food and excellent service from friendly staff that went out of their way to ensure I was happy. Prices seemed fair and they knew what was in their food, which is always very helpful for those with food allergies or intolerances.

It rarely happens that the food I order for delivery is of good quality, tastes great and arrives with good service and yet it happened with this order. I do hope this continues!

I ordered an extra large mixed grill and a salad, I received a large mixed grill which it clearly stated ok the box and no pitta bread. I did also receive my sides and salad. When I called the restaurant to query my missing pitta bread and the fact that I had received a large mixed grill and been charged for an extra large I was told it is extra large I then stated it clearly says large on the box and it doesn’t look like an extra large to which they replied well there’s not much difference in money which to me is not the point if I pay for something I should receive what I paid for. They then said I would get my pitta bread but preceded to call back a further two times to ask where I got the idea that pitta bread cane with my order when it is actually clearly stated on the menu. It then took an hour for the pitta bread to arrive. I’m really disgusted with this as I’ve eaten in and taken away from here before and never had an issue with the service. Definitely won’t be ordering again.

This is my regular restaurant the reason why I come back to this restaurant is because the food is quality and nice. However the downside was that I had received my food late and it was cold so didn’t enjoy it as much overal in general when the food is on time I do tend to enjoy it better

Special mention for SHAWKAT an extremely helpful guy who gave such superb customer service. And the meal was delicious. Recommend the steak chips and lamb chops. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Maggie

Best hotdogs in SW London by far. wings decent but a bit too much sauce. only down side was the delivery driver had no change which made the final cost of the order more than its wirtg, driver just stared at me, hello you are the delivery guy not me carry change!

I’ve been to this a few times now. The food has always been great. Fresh, warm and delicious. I really can’t fault it. There’s much to choose from but this place produces great food. I’ve found the staff to be pleasant also. Restaurant is very well presented and always clean. You can tell they have pride in keeping everything looking smart and clean. All in all, I’d say worth a visit. 👍

Unimaginative cheeseburger, mushy boring fries with a small serving and the saddest completely burned corn in the cob I have ever seen in my life (and completely inedible). With so many good options available I will not be ordering from Big Fat Gourmet again.

Did not send my complete order, put mayonnaise on the burger when I specifically asked for it not to be there as I am allergic. In the description for the burger it did not say it had cheese in it and there was cheese on the burger. The restaurant failed to send me the extra chips I ordered and I still paid the full price of the order.

This is the second time I have ordered from here. Wanted to see if the fab lamb chops I ordered first time was a fluke. Not at all. Scrumptious with lovely thick cut chips. And the staff very friendly when you phone them. Delivered early despite the weather being snowing. Full stars all round.

Took 1h20mins to get our order of 2 burgers + chips. Food wasn't that warm on arrival and the quality was really poor. Burgers look nice but taste was disappointing, chips were tasteless - basically just an overpriced chipper food.

Took extremely long. Hot dog - false advertisement. Burger - cold. Also brought wedges instead of sweet potato fries and when asked why? Had no explanation then said " we've ran out" never gave me Ann option of choosing what to have as an alternative. - never ordering from here again

Food was freezing cold and 45 minutes late. The description of the burgers are far more appealing than they actually taste. The delivery man was very rude which left a bad taste in my mouth before I even tasted the food. If I could give this 1 star I would!!

So last night a friend and I stopped here for a takeaway. He got the jerk burger and chips and I got the lamb chops. Now I am quite hesitant generally trying food that hasn't been recommended or tasted by someone I know but I bit the bullet. Now my previous experience with diners of this sort is that they tend to incorporate their culture flavours into EVERYTHING; another reason for my weariness. I am glad to say that the lamb chops were VERY nice. Tasty and succulent and the owner had this homemade chill jam sort of condiment which was very delicious. There were about 7 lamb chop pieces (slim pieces). Decent amount of meat on them I guess...lamb chops aren't necessarily a first choice of mine, I find them to be quite boney and fatty. This portion wasn't so fatty but very boney. Now my only critique of the chops were...the ridiculous droppings of scantily placed lettuce at the bottom...like why even bother???? It wasn't even enough to cover the base of the container. I found that quite insulting actually. Please...PLEASE DON'T DO IT AGAIN! The owner and I got talking and he mentioned that he has a lot of multi-cultural friends and this reflects on the menu. There is a variety of options and flavours, which I love. As an African I am quite big on flavour. He also mentioned that he was diabetic and that's why he created a diabetic section on the menu. I love this. I think it creates awareness that there are diabetics that also like to eat out and they just aren't that well catered for. So on to the jerk burger >>>> The bun looked AMAZING! It was that seeded sort of bun rubbish that McDonalds like to use. It really was buff and looked so buttery and fresh. The chicken breast, I saw being cooked and they really are quite big. The chips looked basic...I probably could have cooked better in my house. My friend said he would rate it a strong 7 out of 10. The owner was quite accommodating despite my constant stuck up looking face. He embraced and got me to try his food, I commend his approach. Other owner tend to get defensive and almost don't want to serve me It's quite a sizable dining area but if they ever have a full house, you might end up cooking with the food as the food is cooked behind the counter where you can see as opposed to the back kitchen. I would not mind this as it allows me the opportunity to see how my food is being cooked. Overall, I would gladly be back. I want him to make me a special item!

Food overall was fine however missed my coke that was part of the meal deal?? I have technicality paid for this so if you could come back and deliver the coke then you may go up in my estimation but otherwise I may never order from you again.

I want to mark the food to two stars the chicken salad waste of money same with the chops but everything else is on point. Asparagus chips hmm love them and the avocado mayo on point. Guy I hope you are reading this when you pay a lot of money for a salad make sure it's special not just lettuce. Plus your chops need some meat on them. I was vex with my order but seriously either take the chicken salad off the menu or fix it up
