There’s a combination here that can deliver one of London’s best coffee experiences. That is a double espresso in a ceramic and being looked after by one of the beautiful humans/barista’s Shauna & Viannie. Avoid the ordering screen at all costs - inefficient with shocking UX for all.

The dishes are very delicious. We went twice and waiters, especially one was so kind and suggested a really tasty wine for each dinner. If someone ask me where finding good food and nice place in London to eat I surely recommend Black & Blue in the Southbank

Very, very small cafe. I didn’t see any toilets either which for a coffee shop seems necessary.

Matcha was beautiful met these lovely ladies called Shauna & Jennifer. They were so sweet to me, honestly sometimes people can complain about the wrong things! Such lovely girls definitely coming again

Just loved it. Went this afternoon with a friend after the theatre. The staff were very friendly. They were more than just good, they were all genuinely helpful, happy and smiling. We throughly enjoyed the garlic prawns, crispy chicken and cote de beouf. The Margaritas were lovely. Will come again.

You need to visit this place! It caters for all - meat-eaters, veggies and vegan. My mother had the ribs, I had the prawns and my husband had the vegan burger. All of us thought our meals were delicious. Im not a salad person but even the salad that came with the prawns was mouth watering. My husband was particularly pleased that on top of it tasting delicious; the homemade patty didn’t fall to pieces as he ate it which seems to be a common issue with homemade vegan burgers. The ribs were a full rack and fell off the bone. We were stuffed but couldn’t pass up the desert menu as everything on there got our tastebuds tingling. My mother got the strawberries and cream which she thoroughly enjoyed and I got the sticky toffee pudding which was light and fluffy and very yummy. Wish I’d got our waiters name as he was fantastic; Helping us pick from the mocktail list and generally being helpful and friendly and making the start of our trip an enjoyable one. Thank you!

We experienced extremely poor service at this branch. The employees were rude, displayed racism, served undercooked waffles with minimal filling despite requesting them to be crispy. I have been to Black Sheep Coffee numerous times, but this is the first instance where I encountered such poor service.

honestly walking in to the black sheep for the first time, blew me away. The waffles were phenomenal and amazingly tasty, best waffles in the city, the two staff Shauna and Jennifer were super nice and friendly towards me and my girlfriend ,could have not asked for better service. would 100% recommend the black sheep to everyone, especially if those two are working there. keep it up guys.

I love this place. They have the best coffee. I recommend the iced latte with a pump of hazelnut and the cheese and tomato toastie. The toastie is one of the best I've had.

Self service. Ordered iced matcha and a iced vanilla latte. Didn't take long. Although there were bits in the iced vanilla latte. Staff explained it was a newly opened milk. Six tables with some seats outside. No toilet. No tap water, had to ask. Staff asked if there was any water out on the counter, there wasn't any. My matcha was ok, basic and there was a lot of ice, quite watery too.

Absolutely loved it here, Pedro was lovely and treated us with the most respect. Aaron behind the bar was quick with orders and made the drinks amazingly! Also, everytime you entered or left the place, someone was at the door always to open it for you. As a 14 year old writing the review, this has been the best experience I've had when it comes down to restaurants. This was a great experience overall, and we all enjoyed an unexpected evening out! During this time we had an unpleasant experience of a random spanish person coming over, making me and my mother uncomfortable, I went inside to ask for help and they took me seriously as a 14 year old and removed the person promptly, this made the experience more enjoyable and relaxing as we were taken care of by all members of staff. As an apology for the inconvenience, we all got given free drinks, they even gave me a fruity shot as I am underage, which was an amazing gesture! The food was beyond amazing and we all cannot wait to have more visits in the future. I completely recommend this place for a relaxing night with family as it will be an evening out you will never forget!

Rude place. Instead of taking your order they hesture you to the ordering screen. Pretend to be cashless but take cash tips.

We had great service, great coffee here. The staff is really friendly. This is one of the few places in London which sells exceptionally good filter coffee. I love this place. Whenever I am in London I make special effort to find their closest branch and have a nice cup of love-berries coffee! Thank you Black Sheep coffee!

A bit cramped comparing to other Black sheep Coffee, and meet unpleasant people that day. Iced Pistachio Latte is not as good as I thought, but cost £2 on unidays on Monday is fair enough.

I love this coffee house on Goodge Street in Central London! Coffee at Black Sheep is delicious. The musical selection is hip. But the best of all is the wonderful staff. I always feel welcomed. Service is extraordinary. Mornings often find a group of thespians enthusiastically discussing theater on their way to classes down the street at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Local shopkeepers discuss business, regulars drop in for a cup of java on the way to work. The buzz is enlivening. Relaxing. Welcoming. There are a lot of coffee shops in the neighborhood. This one is my favorite.

I was looking all over for a place like this. Found it here , the classic brick wall integration as part of the store is a nice touch. Shauna and Viannie were extra friendly and had great conversation too. Warm drinks galore, you know the rest.

Came here with my mum (who had never been). My mum didn’t know how to use the tablet so Kirsty (hope I’m spelling that right) did the order on her kiosk and helped me sort my free reward coffee after my own confusion on the app. She was so lovely and friendly and the coffees were delicious!

Went out with friends for dinner and were totally disappointed. Ordered Ribs as they were highly recommended by the waitress but when they came they were so dry you were thankful for the side sauces! Seriously supermarket box ribs are better!

black sheep coffee had an amazing atmosphere very relaxing and welcoming i had a hot chocolate made by nashauna who was very kind and smiley. great place to sit down for a chat,work or just to have a bit of piece. would totally recommend .

Excellent coffee and good bagel but ordering on screen when staff right in front of you means no personal interaction. Felt impersonal and nit very friendly.

Food was lovely. Mains reasonably priced, starters perhaps a tad expensive we felt. Our party especially liked the ribs. Service was good however an automatic service charge was added with no mention. Always happy to tip good service but I don’t believe it should be presumed.

Decent enough steaks, wine and cocktails a stones throw from Waterloo Station. Good service and atmosphere. Not the best in town, but pretty damn good.

Crazy way to order & no help for a while until I asked

Utterly bizarre to have a touch screen self-serve thing in a small coffee shop. Weird not to interact with your server until after they've made your coffee.

Very average for the price. The steak was small and chewy. Frozen fries and a sub-par salad. Not recommended. Service was prompt. Stack it high, sell it high rings a bell.

I recommend this store to everyone; the manager Shana makes the creamiest and smoothest cappuccino and is so friendly and smiley even when i made a mistake ordering and she kindly offered to remake it.

I walked in, said hi to the barista who looked miserable. They frowned at me and asked me to close the door behind me. Didn’t even say please! Or ask what I would like, I went some place else. Staff training needed guys!

Off the main road so found a seat. Nice coffee and cake but why no price list? Or staff indicating other options available? Maybe us old fogees don't travel up to the smoke enough to realise EVERYTHING can be online. And if you aren't... tough luck?

This place produces consistently good food and is fairly reasonable cost-wise, except for the wine which I think is a bit overpriced. My main gripe with the restaurant, though, is its limited and never-changing menu. There are literally no more than about five or six main courses in addition to burgers and over-priced steak. That gets incredibly boring after two or three visits. I’m not compelled to return unless I can’t get a table elsewhere nearby.

This is a great find. Although small, is easily accessible for all. The vibe rules from the decor to the always friendly Baristas themselves and, the most important thing - the coffee itself is epic. You can’t go wrong with this local coffee shop.

The place is amazing. The coffee is great and the overall atmosphere is very nice. Shauna and Vi are great, extremely friendly and kind.

Xmas bash for me and 5 mates and we were squeezed in around a table. Busy and noisy so to be expected I’d say and we ordered beer and steaks and to be fair the waiter did a fair job in a situation needing good attention to detail. But for me the £28 steak was not good and very bad value and I should have bought along my Aldi steak (4.50) and asked them to cook it. In summary I would not go there again

Don't go if you want a nice quiet evening. It was unbelievably noisy. I couldn't wait to leave. Food ok....overpriced & when we asked to remove the service charge we were spoken to in disgust...never again

Friendly staff always and good service !

We went as a family to celebrate our Sons 30th birthday. I had rung the restaurant prior to coming to check we could bring a cake and that was no problem. The waiters dealt with it beautifully and didn't even ask if we would like dessert which was impressive and they even provided plates etc for us to use. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very patient as we took a while to work out what we wanted to order. The drinks came quickly shortly followed by the deliciously fresh and tasty starters. The main courses were of a very high quality. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. The food is overpriced, we ordered some chicken wings, and they were literally just seasoned bones. The steak was very average for £34. But the worst part was that after we had paid, the waiter came back over and said he had undercharged us by £2, so asked us to pay it, which we did. Turns out we had paid the correct amount in the first place, there was no apology or refund offered… terrible service

The girl in the shop has been amazing. I ordered my coffees online but to the wrong shop by mistake. She found a way to redirect my order to her shop. Its not often anymore that you see staff being that dedicated to make customer happy. Thankyou so much. Plus coffee was perfect as usual.

Fantastic coffee by fantastic people, Liv was very friendly and efficient, and the price is very reasonable considering you get a double shot of caffeine! Would definitely recommend.

Recommend menu, food was excellent, service tip top, you never had to wait for anything. Have a pint in The Wheatsheaf opposite, beforehand. A great lunch, will definitely return.

Sent our Cote de beouf back as was cooked onto the outside and totally stone cold raw in the middle. What a shame as chef then whacked it in the microwave and it came back totally nuked ! Front of house was mortified and ordered us another , by which time we were on last glass of a bottle of red and full of chips ! Second one came back exactly the same ! Not kidding ! It was handled well as we didn't pay and I took the second one home for the dog ! Wouldn't go back unfortunately.

Booked a table for a friends special birthday before heading to the O2. Great location straight out of Waterloo, we had a booth for 6 which was lovely. Reasonably priced set menu with plenty of choice. The food came promptly and was really good, one of our party needed her steak cooked further but there was no issue. The service was fantastic, a special mention to Patrick who couldn’t have been more professional or helpful. Clean and cosy especially at this time of year. Would definitely recommend and return

The coffee tasted super milky with only a slight taste of coffee - extremely disappointing and won't be coming again! It's also very expensive! £4.09 for a regular sized latte - wow!! I was shocked. Even a small size is £3.59. There's a reason they do not have a sign with the prices on in the shop. There are much better coffee shops around than this one.

This coffee spot is the real deal! Super chill vibes, killer brews, and the friendliest baristas in town – my go-to for a laid-back caffeine fix.

Booked via Open Table. Seated on time and order taken in good time. Food was amazing! We ordered off the fixed price menu - prawns and pate very tasty. For the price we expected maybe a minute steak for the steak frites, but it was a very tasty fillet. Added the salad - yummy walnuts and cheese with iceberg lettuce and some mushrooms. We will be back.

If you like medium rare rib eye steak cooked to mouthwatering perfection you won't go wrong at Black and Blue. Attentive and professional service was welcomed by our large party of 15.

This place is not bad. If you are looking for somewhere to eat at short notice I find we can always get a table here at any time on a Friday evening. There is a doorman. He demands to know whether you have a reservation or not, when you arrive. I'm not sure why he needs to know this because when you tell him you haven't got one, he sends you in anyway. The menu here is very limited and that's disappointing. There is Steak Frites, which is OK but, if you want something else that is non-fish, you are really limited to sausages and mash. That dish is not bad, but it's not necessarily something you want to have at a restaurant. I could have tried the sirloin steak but, quite frankly, I regard the price as ridiculous, so I don't go there. But, overall, the place is pleasant enough. The service is reasonably good and the wine prices are quite reasonable. It's handy for the station. We'll no doubt come again but I hope there is a bit more on the menu to choose from.

It’s a Saturday and there is only one staff serving …..and it’s busy

We ordered the three course meal the prawns were hot and delicious with a chilli dip, the steak and chips just as good and the apple pie/custard equally nice, the service terrible we sat and sat had to ask for plates to be removed nobody came asked how our meal was it was a good meal, no complaints but the service terrible. When we asked for the bill I asked them to take of the 12.5 service charge I explained why to one of the waiters, he then went back to the front discussed it with the rest and we were stared at. Fine on leaving I said to the young lady I think manager/supervisor I can explain why we removed the service charge her reply no need goodbye. Give it a try as the meal was good but service terrible. Need re-training.

Very disappointing. The staff were friendly but the other guests were very noisy in a room that was acoustically poor The steak frites was a grave let down. The steak was tough and the chips were undercooked

Had a lovely lunch here during our trip to London. The service was great and very quick. I had crispy butterfly prawns to start and my wife had the Satay Skewers. Both excellent. For mains we had burgers and they were made to our liking with things we didn’t like not being put on them. The Burgers tasted great but had quite a lot of grease. They were cooked rare which is fine with me but my wife prefers hers well done and we weren’t given the option when ordering so didn’t ask. Still a fantastic meal though in a nice spot. Prices quite high but I suppose that’s the norm these days. I’d definitely go back again next time

Despite not having booked, the staff found us a table for a large party on a very busy Saturday afternoon. We had burgers, steak and sausage and mash… all delicious.. second time here.. won’t be our last. Well done and thanks for a great meal
