Relaxed little coffee shop situated just off the hustle and bustle of Tottenham Court Rd Coffee is really good and they possibly have the biggest croissants and pain au chocolates I have ever seen!! The only thing stopping me giving 5 is that all of the food looks amazing however none of it has any prices displayed, including the coffee, and I don’t like that as a customer

Love the layout of the place, really nice vibe. Coffee isn’t exactly my favorite taste, but it’s still a good one. Still, would come back—if I happen to be around and want a coffee, Black Sheep would definitely be an option

It was nice! Not too strong, with a subtle flavour. I have had better ones elsewhere, but still, it was enjoyable.

One thing I will never understand is how they’re always out of ice , bear in mind there’s a Tesco directly opposite this branch … out of ice at 3pm ??? This has happened twice in the space of one week as well . Like pls do better

I have been here a few times now, but have found in particular the service disappointing. Several times my order arrived incorrect, and the error was corrected only reluctantly and not particularly helpfully. I want to like this coffee shop, but they really need to sharpen up the service level a bit - it does not currently feel like they are there to give a good customer experience

Really lovely place! I have the UNIDAYS £2 drink on Monday, and the Black Sheep on Goodge Street is the loveliest start to my day possible. Vee and Jen are so nice (and they always remember my order of iced blueberry matcha) and it would not be the lovely start to my Monday that it is without them!:)

The waffles with Nutella and fruit inside were incredibly delicious. We went back the next day and ordered the same thing again. You can easily place your order online using a QR code and pay directly. Coffee was also delicious and the ambience was quite nice.

Wonderful little spot. I ordered the wrong coffee on the screen and then made me my flat white anyway free of charge. Cute and accommodating 🫶🏻

Very nice staff, accommodating and all smiles! I always come here for Norwegian waffle. This is how I discovered brown cheese! Yum! Ordered iced Vietnamese coffee (expected it to be a little sweeter though) But! If you have a sweet waffle with it, then it would just be perfect.

I am a regular customer of this black sheep branch. I love the blueberry muffins and regularly tell people about them. The service in this branch has always been soo friendly and welcoming however, there seems to have been a change of staff, the new lady is extremely unwelcoming and snappy. I am so dissapointed in my blueberry muffin it is completely stale despite purchasing it at 8:40am so should have been fresh - leading me to believe it was from yesterday. I won't be going back there in a hurry and will need to find somewhere else to get my morning coffee and breakfast.

Seriously, what happened to your salted caramel frappe?? I used to love it but today it was a total disaster. It didn’t even taste like it was blended with ice and it just didn’t hit the same. You definitely need better training on how to make drinks. This was just bad.

Stopped by for some waffles and coffee/matcha with a friend on a Sunday morning. Waffles and coffee were delicious as always but what made the visit extra special was that we were treated to such lovely, smiley service from Christian and Sharda! They even went out of their way to find me a phone charger I could borrow 😊 Thank you!!

I had an amazing experience at Black Sheep Coffee! The matcha latte was absolutely perfect—smooth, rich, and just the right balance of earthy and creamy flavors. You can really taste the quality of the matcha, and it was expertly prepared. A huge shoutout to Aga and Jen for their exceptional service! One of the staff was quite rude and had an unpleasant attitude. I accidentally ordered whole milk instead of oat and instead of remaking my drink after i let him know, he said ‘well I’ve already made it’ i had to ask the other barista to make it instead so thank you to her. I also ordered a cinnamon bun and he gave me a blueberry muffin?! I don’t what’s up with him but maybe he needs a few days off if he doesn’t know the difference between a cinnamon bun and a blueberry muffin.

Fantastic little cafe with polite staff and a special mention to Aga, she was helpful. Nice place to get a quick coffee and a bite. Love the matcha range from there.

A charming little cafe in a perfect location! I highly recommend their matcha collection. Each cup is crafted to perfection. We were served by Aga, who was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place worth visiting!

Excelente comida y vino. Tuvimos una noche encantadora. El personal también era increíble y no podía ayudarle lo suficiente. Bonus que la noche que fuimos el vino era mitad de precio.

Primera visita. Tenía el menú de dos platos con filete como principal. El gusto y la calidad es bueno, porciones en el lado pequeño pero razonable relación calidad-precio. Buen servicio.

Llegamos sin una reserva y con una silla de ruedas que no era ningún problema para ellos, nos dieron una cabina y el personal era increíblemente amable! La comida era fabulosa y una gran relación calidad-precio (pedimos el filete y buñuelo del menú de fijación de premios). Gran menú de cócteles también! El filete estaba cocinado azul y era perfecto. Sin duda recomiendo el restaurante y nos deffo volver.

I had a coffee here everyday while in London. You order on the screen and they call out your name when its ready. Seating is kind of small and most are stools around tables. The coffee was excellent at times and so-so at other times. It depends on the barista tbh.

Teniendo en cuenta que este restaurante se encuentra dentro de Borough Market, una zona de Londres conocida por su excelente comida, este lugar simplemente apesta. Mi novio y yo estábamos de visita en Londres como parte de nuestras vacaciones y decidimos explorar Borough Market y encontramos lo que parecía ser un restaurante de gama alta en Black & Blue. Era justo después del almuerzo - tiempo, así que estábamos buscando un bocado ligero y este lugar parecía ser genial. Al entrar, fuimos recibidos por un anfitrión, y antes de sentarnos preguntamos sobre hacer una ligera alteración en uno de los platos, ya que mi prometido puede ser ligeramente exigente a veces. Quería sustituir el pollo de una ensalada Caesar por un filete -que con Black & Blue siendo un asador imaginas que estarían acomodando- por un precio. El anfitrión nos aseguró que no sería un problema y nos sentó en una mesa. Al sentarse nos recibió nuestro servidor, que pidió tomar nuestra orden de bebidas después de un corto tiempo. A mi prometido le gusta darse el gusto de vez en cuando, y cuando le preguntó la opinión del servidor sobre el Rose Spritz, respondió con una cara de disgusto y le aconsejó que no lo ordenara. Apreciamos la honestidad, pero la manera en que el servidor respondió realmente no reflejaba bien sus pensamientos sobre el restaurante. Para empezar compartimos una tabla de pan juntos. Este consistía en pan blanco rancio y pan integral que se servía con cubos sólidos de roca de mantequilla. No costó demasiado, así que no estábamos muy preocupados en ese momento, y francamente teníamos demasiada hambre para preocuparnos. Era literalmente solo pan. Para una comida principal mi pareja quería pedir la ensalada César, pero en lugar de con pollo ella quería filete - que pensamos que era una petición razonable según la respuesta del anfitrión en la puerta. Contrariamente a lo que creemos, sin embargo, el servidor nos dijo que esto no era posible, incluso con nosotros dispuestos a pagar un cargo por adelantado que esperábamos. Al final, mi prometido eligió la ensalada César estándar con pollo, no realmente de su agrado, pero no había mucho más que quisiera del menú. Si hubiéramos sabido que esto habría sido así, habríamos cenado en otro lugar. Una vez que su ensalada llegó, se veía bastante apetitoso para empezar, hasta que se encontró con un pelo en la ensalada - una guarnición bastante inusual si me preguntas. Ella puede ser bastante vacilante a veces, y estaba preocupada de que fuera su propio cabello en lugar del de otra persona, por lo que comprensiblemente decidió no llamar al servidor. Para mi comida principal, había estado mirando una de las hamburguesas del menú. Me encanta una buena hamburguesa y con Black & Blue siendo un asador dentro del mercado del condado esperaba obtener una deliciosa hamburguesa que me hizo salivar al pensar en ella. La hamburguesa contenía todo lo que una gran hamburguesa debería - dos empanadas, tocino, queso cheddar, incluso hongos a mi gusto. También vino con guacamole, que elegí en contra, ya que no soy un gran fan y la idea de guacamole en una hamburguesa suena terriblemente desordenado. Tenía muchas ganas de esta hamburguesa, pero me decepcionó cuando me la sirvieron. Se había derrumbado en el plato cuando me lo compraron, lo que no me pareció nada apetitoso. El menú no decía nada sobre el mayo en la hamburguesa, pero maldita sea, la cosa estaba empapada en mayonesa, lo que la hacía aún más incomestible. Traté de volver a montarlo y recogerlo, pero simplemente se vino abajo en mis manos, lo que realmente me puso de mal humor. Es lo único que una hamburguesa no debe hacer: desmoronarse en tus manos. Como resultado comí con un cuchillo y un tenedor, lo cual no era preferible, toda la experiencia fue muy abrumadora. Las carnes también eran de mala calidad, que con el precio que pagué por la hamburguesa me hubiera esperado mucho mejor. El servidor pasó una vez, tan brevemente, mientras tratábamos de comernos nuestra chapuza preguntando si todo estaba bien. Claramente no lo era, pero ambos habíamos pasado el punto de cuidar la comida en este lugar. Cualquier sustitución no habría sido satisfactoria para ninguno de los dos. Para frotar sal en las heridas de un mal servicio y aún peor comida, nos dieron un cargo por servicio encima de nuestra factura. Me molestó, pero no puedo decir que me sorprendió, ya que cualquier restaurante que produce tanto comida como servicio tan terrible como este lugar luchará seriamente por recibir propinas por su cuenta. Evita este lugar si tienes sentido común.

Reservamos y llegamos temprano, lo que no fue un problema. Buen servicio. Mi filete de solomillo era pequeño y caro, sin embargo absolutamente delicioso como lo era el ojo de costilla de mi marido. Inicialmente no estaba satisfecho con la llegada de ensalada de la casa con mi elección de bistec, pero realmente lo disfruté. Habría dado 5 estrellas de no ser por el precio / cantidad y estar muy iluminado.

It's semi-self-serve, but you can also choose decaf coffee, and the bread is delicious 🥐 There aren't many seats, so it's hard to stay long, but please spend some time with delicious coffee ☕️ ~£10/person.

The restaurant was more than half empty but we felt rushed from the minute we arrived and the food was distinctly average. The ambiance and the staff were decent.

Black & Blue Waterloo. We popped in for evening food. We hadn’t booked, but this was not a problem, we were shown to a lovely window seat. The welcome was warm. The service was very swift. The food was absolutely delicious! The prices are very reasonable indeed. The toilets need some attention. I can’t wait for my next trip to London. I know exactly where I’m going to eat!

Fui a una reunión con otros 2 amigos en Waterloo y elegí este restaurante porque está cerca de la estación de tren. el servicio en la mesa era bueno y profesional hasta que llegaron los platos de comida. las cestas de patata estaban llenas de salsa seca y pegajosa. el chico que nos sirvió fue muy atento con nosotros y se disculpó por lo que pasó, ofreciendo un café al final. deben prestar más atención a estos detalles

That was a poor experience. Altough the cappuccino was really beautiful. It was definitely not Strong enough. Besides instead of talking to a real person. The lady pointed me to the screen to order. I had to Tap. My way through a McDonald’s style tablet and had no connection or what so ever.

Maybe it was an off day but I just drank (very partly) one of the worst flat whites I can remember. Shame because I’ve had good luck with Black Sheep before. More training required?

I’m not much of a coffee drinker but going to this specific black sheep coffee shop really changed my outlook. Thanks to the amazing kindness and customer service of Shauna my family and I were able to have splendid meal, experience and coffee.

Spent the last part of the meal trying to Shazam the music as they had some amazing tracks I hadn’t heard before. Would love restaurants to provide play lists. Really relaxed meal with great food and perfectly timed service, not rushed, not slow, just right. We had the amazing prawns (two types but garlic just edged it) and then a selection of steaks. All perfectly cooked and high quality. Fantastic location near Waterloo. In the evening light it has a Blade Runner vibe to it. Walk back over bridge had some amazing views perfectly lit by the full moon (see pic). Overall, a fantastic meal and well worth a visit. Recommended.

A cosy little Black Sheep Coffee store with a small amount of seating indoors and outdoors. The coffee was tasty and the service was good and friendly however the tables could benefit from a wipe down between customers. Also the entrance door closer could benefit from a repair as it does not close fully thus street noise and draught pervades.

Ridiculously expensive for a very poor quality meal. Fillet steak, tiny, with a pepper steak that was like water, cheap fries, boiled watery mushrooms. Steak was chard on one side, looked like it had been cooked in a dirty grill or pan. Tourist trap, like one of those “cheap” steak houses in the 80’s. But it’s packed - avoid

I claimed the student discounted matcha, excellent service and excellent variety of choices for the matcha. Would highly recommend this place as an affordable and student friendly alternative for cafe lovers

Came in to do some study work and had a pistachio latte (the best!). It is a small shop but it had a nice ambience even with a full shop and the service was excellent - 10/10 would recommend

Cute small cafe. Coffee was ok. The actual coffee shop is quite small so I wouldn't want to be working non-stop in here. Lots of other sweet treats to try which pair well with a hot beverage.

Found on the periphery of Borough Market, this steakhouse has well spaced tables and cheerful, welcoming staff. Between us, we tried the Côte de Boef, 10oz Ribeye and the burger. The Côte, at £50 for two, was my dish of the evening. I would cheerfully have eaten it solo. Succulent and tender, it was all a steak should be. The burger was also very good. Perfectly cooked and with a very well balanced fat content. The chips were excellent. OK, why 3 stars? The Rib eye was a real letdown . It was a tough, thin, overcooked, gristle-shot misery of a steak at a princely £33. Expensive and truly awful. Saisbury's sell better for a tenner. Count on 50 quid a head Have the burger.

There’s a combination here that can deliver one of London’s best coffee experiences. That is a double espresso in a ceramic and being looked after by one of the beautiful humans/barista’s Shauna & Viannie. Avoid the ordering screen at all costs - inefficient with shocking UX for all.
