Honestly great restaurant ! Wine list is amazing with great natural wines (Although a bit pricey Gut oggau Winifred 111£, but hey, it is London) Food is amazing but tbf, portions are a bit small for the price. Overall very good night and service ! Would recommand

We had a such a brilliant evening at the Naughty Piglets sampling Verity Hurding’s imaginative and delicious food. The quality of the food was exceptional - wagyu beef a highlight.

This place is incredible! I Came for dinner with 4 friends earlier this week during Verity’s residency and we had the most amazing food, natural and orange wine! The staff were all really friendly and so knowledgable, they help you order the right amount (even for gluten free) and the food was impeccable! Brilliant place, such good vibes too.

Delicious food here. Menu and chefs always changing. An absolute hidden gem in Brixton. Get everything on the menu and share it. Recommend to sit at the bar and interact with the chefs

It is now hard to review Naughty Piglets as they have rotating chefs, but every time I have been the service has been impeccable and the food amazing. Only negative note is that the chairs are not tall enough for the tables and it is a tiny bit uncomfortable for eating, but I will still give it 5/5

The food and staff are honestly incredible, I love this restaurant and have been going for years, I have to say the portion sizes for some of the dishes could be better and I have noticed portions over time have gotten smaller that’s my only critique.

I had the pleasure of going to Naughty Piglets during the summer In August when the wonderful talented previous Master Chef contestant Philippe Sunnoeo was doing a residency there. The menu was DIVINE, Top tier, rich, beautiful flavours, and this will always be experience when eating Chef Philippe Sonou’s food. I heard that he will be doing another residency with Naughty piglets this month and I can’t wait to see what he has on the menu. Philippe has a way of making food look so beautiful and taste absolutely deliscious. His food is always a work of art and a beautiful combination of african flavour with french technique. You must try his food!

Very disappointing experience. We had heard great things but food was very average and mispriced for what we got. We ordered 2 “stuffed chicken wings” for £18 which had a lot of chicken fat left on that was inedible. The beef stuffing was fine but nothing special. We ordered the prawns which consisted of 2 small and quite poorly dressed and overcooked prawns for £16. Too expensive to the dish we got. Rest of the food was ok but overpriced and disappointing quality (£26 single piece of cod, £20 lofts, £9 undercooked side potatoes we had that were undercooked and we had to send back only to receive them back burned and still hard) Carafe of cote du Rhone was decent, carafe of burgundy was good. Service was ok but 2 servers for ~30 covers is not enough. Dining room and bathrooms could be cleaner. Left feeling hungry and significantly overcharged for the experience we got. Disappointing and a shame, we had heard great things. Not good enough for a £200 meal.

What hospitality should be like: warm service, great food, excellent atmosphere. Bee stings were a great starter, Jamon Beurre was banging, chocolate mousse with potato jam ice cream was as good as any dessert I've had this year. Can't wait to come back

Fantastic food … first time for us (despite living 5 mins away shame on us!) The food menu is not exhaustive, the quality of what we had was so good! Right seasoning, great associations … delicious. Great wine list too! Cosy and lowkey Go!

The lunchtime banh mi was on point!

Wine: great place for natural wine. I wished the staff could support better. If your are not familiar with the concept, you might feel a little lost, so worth asking for some guidance. Food: it was an amazing experience, however I would have even better if the staff would have informed that it was an in-house chef menu. As the first time in, now I not sure the food experience would the same next time (which is not a problem, but would have liked to know a bit more about the chef in and the food menu offer). Overall, great place, however I’ve aspected more from service and communication.

The plates were too small for the price, £20 for a small duck roll that wasn’t particular amazing. The service was fine, though the waitstaff seemed a bit nervous. The standout was the wine, which was excellent and worth returning for. However, the overall experience fell short, with a poorly lit table tucked into a corner, making it difficult to even see the food. At £120 for the meal, it didn’t feel worth the cost. If the pricing were more reasonable, it might be easier to justify. Perhaps visiting during the day, so you can see your food.

The food was delicious, definitely go for the Prawn in Choux and the Double Raviolo. Special shout out to Jason who is wonderful, approachable and an asset to the restaurant. We will be back!

Understaffed, overpriced and overrated. Cool to see the chef and sous at work in the bar area, but service was a miss for us. We heard front of house gossiping about other guests. And we clearly didn’t order enough, because the waitress made a comment about it and then didn’t check in with us much at all the rest of the meal and seemed cold, which felt harsh as we still spent almost £120 on a dinner for two and ordered almost everything you could as a vegetarian. Took 25 minutes to get the bill. Some of the dishes felt incomplete, ie a plate of raw fruit for £9 that was advertised as a starter while a cheese plate as a final course came with no accoutrements.

Over-priced for what it was. Food was decent (nothing spectacular) but portions were tiny - far smaller than your average 'small plates' portion. Service was courteous but inattentive. Paid £250 for 2 people with one bottle of wine - it did not justify that price.

Interesting, tasty food and lovely staff, who happily catered to my coeliac wife including making a special gluten free dessert. Would recommend emailing in advance just to make sure they have time to do any changes/what the menu is like that day.

Inusual antiguo romano - menú inspirado por el chef Will Faris, con mucho énfasis en sabores / texturas y combinaciones interesantes. Realmente disfruté de todos los platos y me sentí completamente satisfecho y bien atendido - como vegetariano. Me gustó especialmente los chapuzones, las calabazas con nuez y albaricoque y el sabroso plato de lentejas y hojas de col rellenas increíbles. Bien hecho, por ser valiente y ofrecer algo refrescantemente diferente.

The last night of Michael Bagnall’s residency and we were so glad we didn’t miss it. Every dish was perfect, the service was flawless and the vibes were lovely and chilled. Naughty Piglets has been recommended to me a few times and I can completely see why. Can’t wait to come back.

Qué pena, la primera vez que fui a este restaurante en septiembre fue honestamente la mejor comida que he tenido en Londres la comida era increíble! Desafortunadamente después de regresar con el nuevo menú me quedé muy decepcionado. La comida era bastante poco interesante y los tamaños de las porciones eran tan pequeños que tuve que cocinar algo cuando llegué a casa, realmente no vale la pena la visita o la gran factura que viene con él tal vez fue solo una noche libre, quién sabe, pero no voy a volver después de eso.

I popped in for the Michael Bagnall pop up and not only was the food excellent (as expected) but the service was fantastic and it is a really lovely place to go for a bit of wine and a bit of food. If I lived nearer Brixton I would likely return on a regular basis. Sadly I live one thousand miles away.

We first visited this restaurant two years ago and have been recommending it our friends ever since. We were therefore surprised to be so disappointed when we returned. The menu has changed beyond recognition (due a rota of resident chefs) so it was a totally different dining experience. The food was overpriced (£26 for an overcooked, small steak dish and £9 for small portion of jollof rice). We are used to London prices but this left us feeling short changed. We sat in a small room at the back and service was rushed and inattentive. We hope Naughty Piglets will return to former glory but will wait for others to verify this before parting with another £100…!

Warm, friendly service. Helped us change our seat be upstairs. Hibiscus cocktail was zingy and yummy. food highlights were the serloin and the jollof - we both declared we hadnt had a more delicious plate of food in a while. The mackrel was equally delcious, and paired perfectly with a fresh tomato salad. Beautiful meal, thanks so much. Ps. Completely amazed by the flavours of all the dishes I’ve tried. Everything was delicious, highly recommend this place specially if you want to try something different and unique.

Love the food at this place (I've been so many times over the years) ...but I know I will never love it as much as the staff think I should do. It's a shame because the attitude (and tbh the price) really detracts.

Delicious plates with the mackerel sandwich and lamb tartare dishes being my favourite. However the chairs were so uncomfortable and spoiled the experience enormously. I sat on my jumper to stop me sliding backwards. Please change your chairs or get some cushions. I have never complained about chairs before!!!!!

One of the chefs we spoke to were lovely/ some nice small plates on the menu but felt the service could’ve been a-lot better and made myself and a friend not want to stay. Attended for my birthday. Felt rushed, my friend was going to be a little delayed attending- like 15 minutes because of transport, and i was advised to send her the menu/ reminded of my two hour booking window on entry which was not a great way to start- despite minutes later the host then saying we should be fine for time and the plates we ordered being brought out fairly quickly. We sat on the stools at the front- its tight for space, not the most comfortable ok to have view of the cooking I didn't feel the menu was clear, on a main board at the front with prices next to them - it was unclear what was starter size vs the rest of their small plates and some were particularly pricey given the size of what we were given - plates were about £17-£25 per person and a reccomendation of 5 plates. Our conversation was interrupted to order after not much time, and interrupted to clear our plates before my friend had finished- she still had remainder left unfinished and i felt that was clear given that we were sat within good view. Its a lovely little wine bar, with a great concept re the small plates, I just felt the atmosphere we experienced generally wasn’t that welcoming and we could’ve got more for our money and had a better time elsewhere

I was really excited about going here as it seemed very cute. We were sat at the bar where the stools mad you too tall for the bar level. We were pretty much the first ones there and my friend was reminded within five minutes of sitting that we only had the table for two hours so to order soon. Not a great start. The waiter we had on the bar was not friendly and came across condescending when explaining I wasn’t ordering enough (we hadn’t been told about the small plates before that). £14-25 per small plate and being expected to order about 5-6 between you felt a lot based on the service too. Our waiter wouldn’t leave us alone and we got urged to order about three times before we finally did. We probably would’ve stayed longer (we only stayed just over an hour) and had more food if it wasn’t for the rushed feeling. Nothing was labelled on the chalkboard as vegetarian or if there were allergies present. Even after speaking to the waiter, I was a little confused. The chef who made my meal was lovely, but he did put meat on it after the waiter had told me that one was vegetarian.

We had such a wonderful dinner at naughty piglets! We went for the set menu which was incredible value at £25 for 3 courses and a glass of wine. Of course we had to supplement with a house old fashioned to start 😉 we also ordered an additional plate of broccoli as a side. Also big love for serving the cheese with crusty baguette, so much better than crackers! The decor is cosy and dim, with a lovely ambience and neighbourhood buzz. Service was excellent too. Highly recommend!

Super gourmet restaurant, refined, delicious dishes, choice of very good wines, impeccable service, very good atmosphere....what can I say? Don't miss this restaurant if you're near Brixton, you'll love it!

Dingy back room with watermarks in the walls and a light held up by masking tape. Overpriced, very small “sharing” plates that would not have fed one person let alone a group. Both food and wine overpriced. We ordered some snacks and told the waiter we’d order something else in 10 mins to be told you have to order now because the kitchen is closing as soon after you order. If we can book a table on line for 2.15pm we should be able to have a leisurely meal and not feel rushed. Change your last booking time to earlier. Overall very disappointed and felt like I’d been robbed.

Enjoyed this place a lot, nice atmosphere and excellent food. We sat at the bar where you can also see hands on cooking which is ace. I recommend the Jerusalem Artichoke, yamm! Will be back!

Service and atmosphere were really enjoyable, as was the food.

The food tasted amazing, absolutely no doubting that - everything was beautifully cooked and delicious however for the price the portions were too small, even for a small plates restaurant. The issue is for 'fine dining' you might expect this price however the service and seating wasn't up to standard to warrant such high price to small portion size. We've been to many small plates restaurants but this was extremely small. The music cut out at around 9:50pm, the waiters were polite but not particularly attentive, and we were so cramped in the corner with another table / a radiator, fire extinguisher and back door right next to us - not the feeling of somewhere that should be charging £27 for 4 small slices of rump steak or £15 for a very little amount of artichoke and pear.

Food was excellent but service could have been better as it was very rushed. Some small improvements could be made to better the experience. Almost all the plates were chipped, we didn’t get an ice bucket for our wine, the wine list was on our servers phone which wasn’t ideal as we felt rushed to pick one. We had to send one dish back as it was undercooked but they were really helpful with this and sent us a new dish that was delicious.

A great buzz, sat at the chefs counter on a Friday night for the current residency of Jamie Duvale. Excellent wines, food was fabulous - elevated and special but not pretentious at all. Highlights include the venison tartare, guinea fowl, and the spectacular tiramisu for dessert. Can’t wait to go again.

Wow wow wow! Really great food, service and wine. Would absolutely recommend! It was pretty busy when I went so I suggest booking in advance. I had the croquettes, the venison and the pavlova. 10/10.

The third time we’ve been to NP and again, very high quality of food with the ever changing menu and extensive wine list. We prefer to sit downstairs at the counter stalls in the dimly lit basement, great for ambiance for a party of 2. We had the winter tomato salad, beef tartare, pear & Jerusalem artichoke and mushroom spring roll. The BBQ pork chop was possibly the best pork chop I’ve had, very juicy and tender, continue to be a huge fan of this place!

Had a lovely evening with great food. One dish wasn't to our liking but to be expected with sharing plates. Service was amazing. We did get sat in a basement as the only table down there, so atmosphere wasn't great

The food was good- the pork belly a highlight, however the wines we tried were all rather lacklustre and one dimensional given the prices. Our food also took ages to come, we had to speak to the server who said he was waiting until we finished one small plate before bringing the others, which doesn’t make sense at a small plates restaurant. We should have been checked on rather than having to chase and if the kitchen deliberately staggered dishes we should also have been asked/told. In the end we were rushed out and told we only had half an hour left despite sitting for half an hour with no food arriving, and more than half our dishes still outstanding…. one of our dishes was forgotten entirely and never came, so all in all it was not a great experience.

Awful restaurant, I went here on a second date, we called ahead to check if there was vegetarian food, we were told there was. The only vegetarian option is 'grilled pear and artichoke' 'Burrata' and an option to make a meat dish vegetarian, which turned out to be literally half a cabbage on my plate with a spoon some horrible strong soy sauce - these are all side dishes, not mains. The prices are absolutely extortionate for what you get, 14 for half a cabbage?! To say that this is a vegetarian friendly restaurant is completely misleading. Spent a fortune in this place and came out starving. Avoid at all costs, especially if you are vegetarian.

1 of everything works for 3 people

Naughty Piglets is situated between Brixton and Herne Hill near Brockwell Park on an inconspicuous little street. Despite the fogged up front windows of the restaurant on a wintery evening, it's clear there's a pleasant buzz inside. As soon as we walked in, one of the waiters came to greet us and accompanied us to our table which was in the room at the back, covered by minimalistic wooden panels and lit by warm cosy lightbulbs. The menu is certainly not extensive with probably 7/8 plates to choose from. Between the two of us we had two entrees and four plates to share. To drink we started off with their Cynar negronis, which were out of this world, and a half litre of the house Barbera, delicious to sip with the meatier dishes. All the dishes we ordered were something special made with magnificent combinations of ingredients: the Devon crab with a peanutty Yuzu marinade was outstanding and deserves a special mention on its own. Yet the pumpkin and amaretti ravioli as well as the beef with cime di rapa were incredible too. The staff were also extremely nice and quick, pacing the service at the right speed throughout the whole dinner, without ever having the table overcrowded with plates. This is one of those places that overcame my expectations which were quite high already. Well done, team at Naughty Piglets, you're doing great and I look forward to being back!

Excellent set up, way overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend.

We visited for a birthday celebration having researched restaurants a little out of central London. The restaurant is easy enough to get to just a few stops on the tube from Euston and a short walk. It is a ‘small plates’ restaurant and our waitress was able to guide us on how many dishes to order. We had between 5/6 for 2 people. Each dish was simply delicious and nothing we could fault at all, we only wish we had tried them all! I would never have picked the croquette but a review said it was a must try and I can definitely agree! All food was cooked perfectly. Desserts were equally as good. The restaurant allocated 2 hours to each table and yes they do stick to this but they are running a business and we had no problem with this allocation! All in all highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

£13 for half a glass of negroni is insane, especially in Brixton. Croquettes were far too peppery. Pork belly, quite small, tasted ok but the Gochujang sauce was way too strong for it. Beef carpaccio was delicious and can’t fault it. Menu had very few exciting options. Felt very rushed and ignored by staff. For quality and service it is very overpriced.

I called to book for mine and my partner’s anniversary recently and the person I spoke to was really nice and managed to squeeze us in last minute, which we were delighted about. When we were first seated we were two tables away from this group that were being so obnoxiously loud and were annoying everyone around them. We put up with it for a while but it was impossible to ignore and began really affecting us - we couldn’t hear each other speak without shouting. I asked a member of staff if it would be possible to move and explained the situation and within five minutes they offered to move us downstairs, which was a really lovely private dining area which wasn’t being used but they opened it especially to accommodate us. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a great time and really turned around what started off as a really frustrating experience because of the table across from us. They didn’t have to go to the effort they did, but it left a really great impact on us and ended up being a meal we won’t forget. Beautiful restaurant, really unpretentious and friendly service, and the food was absolutely unbelievable. Amazing experience! Can’t wait to come back.

Some really nice dishes such as the Peanut and Crab and mackerel with salsa verde but some didn’t impress me like the burrata, corn and steak tartare (way too rich). We were sat on the counter next to the till and the atmosphere was disrupted by the waiters/waitresses having conversations by the till - felt slightly unprofessional. On the more expensive side compared to other neighbourhood restaurants I’ve eaten at serving similar styles of small plates.

Great vibe, fantastic staff. Not great food options for veggies. For example, a plate of meat with a side of slaw has been 'adapted for veggies' to be just a plate of slaw – same price.

Had an amazing dinner for my partner’s birthday. The ham croquettes were out of this world. Everything was delicious, the service was amazing. We only had wine by the glass but they have more than a 100 wines available!! Will definitely come back.

I've been twice for dinner, some of the finest food I've ever had, everything is amazing I could not pick a favourite dish.

Been couple of times, interesting dishes and chef very pleasant, but unfortunately very questionable hygiene from the man at the counter serving drinks. Used to be a great place in Brixton but a tiny thing sadly ruins the whole experience at a restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere in a very cute and comfortable decorative wooden setting and books on a shelf. Divided into two areas, one near the kitchen and on the bar side very bright and welcoming, the other more private inside. Absolutely fantastic and well balanced dishes to share. Kind and attentive service to our availability.

I ate here this past Friday night at the bar with a friend from London who raves about this place. Simply put, I had an amazing dinner. Friendly service from Marta who directs the cooking. We sampled nearly the entire menu and loved everything, though for me the duck and scallops were the standouts. Sampled the desserts too and loved both of them. Great cocktails and a nice wine selection ( I had a red) complemented my delicious meal. Start with a croquete if available, and work your way through the menu. The crab and peanut was an amazing starter!! AS was the mackerel. Basdically, I loved everything. Would highly recommend making your way out to Brixton for a delicious dining experience that's not formal, that's comfortable, and not overwhelming. I hope to be back the next time I'm in London.

Naughty Piglets follows a familiar format - it's a natural wine and small plates place in zone 2 - but fell slightly short in its execution on my one visit here. The food was fine but nothing was memorably delicious and I'd feel no urgency to return. A shame, as it's usually reassuringly busy so I expect a bit more from it.

Good quality food, though the portions are miniscule for the price and all the dishes we had could have done without being so soaked in butter/ oil/ cream. Otherwise the quality of the ingredients was great.

Some of the best food I’ve eaten in ages and lovely service. Only downside was the high tables weren’t very spacious but glad we could book them at relatively short notice.

Came in for a last minute walk in and the staff sorted us out straight away. Sat at the bar where the chef took time to talk us through ingredients and flavours. Everything we tried was beautifully balanced with flavour and looked extremely pretty . I'll happily pay every penny again for the passion and detail both the chefs and staff put into this place . Great skin contact wine too .

I almost don’t want to rave about this place as it is already hugely successful and we don’t want anyone else to know how good it is for fear we can’t get a booking. BUT, this place is AMAZING! The staff are pleasant, helpful and genuinely lovely people. The ambience is close, friendly and chill - almost the best part about this place is it’s not pretentious! The food…oh wow… the food was some of the best food we’ve ever had! The flavours are out of this world and considering the head chef can’t taste half the food (allergies), we were blown away by her creativeness and passion for combining foods that just work! We sat at the bar and we’re so glad we did and the staff made the whole experience even better as they clearly loved what they do. Oh well, guess I failed as not raving about this place, but it’s hard not to when there is nothing to complain about and the food and service was exceptional. We can’t wait to go back!

I'd been wanting to go to this place for ages, as my partner and I live quite close and have gotten some takeaway bottles from there before. However, I was so let down by the experience. Upon entering, the ambience was really nice and vibrant, and we were shown our table in the back. When the waitress came to greet us, she recommended six dishes for two people. However, as my partner is vegetarian, there actually weren't even enough to choose from for that to be possible. The choices were burrata, a strawberry salad, and a dish with courgette. As we weren't really intrigued by the first two, we decided to just get the last one with some bread and then splurge on a nice carafe. When the waitress came back, we ordered the courgette dish, some bread, and the wine. However, it seemed like her demeanor changed when she realized we weren't getting any more food; she told us we weren't able to stay for the whole duration of the two-hour booking. After this, everything just seemed kinda rushed - we received our food before the wine, and while it appeared all other tables with a full carafe were asked to try the wine before serving, this was not offered to us. I wanted to clarify to the waitress that we had mostly decided not to get food (to our own disappointment as well) because of the lack of option, so I asked if there was any way of substituting the meat in the other dishes, to which the reply was that the crab could be substituted for more cabbage, and the confit duck could be replaced with more grilled peaches. This would have been fine, except the price tag of £16 seems a bit extortionate, then, for just a tiny portion of cabbage or grilled peaches ... I'm sure the place is great for people that do eat meat, but when you're so used to being spoiled for choice in a city like London, it's quite shocking to find a place that is so unaccommodating to vegetarian diets. Not sure why the booking platform asks about dietary restrictions if nothing is done about it.

Some of the best food I’ve had in London. Effortlessly cool decor, friendly and attentive staff. Can’t wait to go again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and hot. The place was clean, tidy and well maintained with no issues at all.

Friends of ours live in London and frequent this place often, when I saw their posts on FB, I said, I need to go there. We visited last month and this restaurant did not disappoint. The magic is that you do not have to choose just one dish. There are so many great things on the menu and they are served tapas style. There was not one thing we got that we did not love. Of all the fantastic dishes, my favorite was the crab with peanut. Amazing! Also, they evening we went here, I was suffering from serious jet lag and the only time all day I did not think about sleeping was when I was eating this meal.

When they let people drink on the street they completely block the tiny road causing inconvenience for the locals, people with buggies and the disabled. The people just stood there drinking while I saw someone move their baby buggy into the road to get around the inconsiderate guests.

Nice food but really overpriced

This is the best restaurant in Brixton / Herne Hill. Lovely seasonable small plates, great wine and cocktail selection and really friendly staff.

A wonderful experience, from the moment I stepped through the door, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were friendly and full with energy. The menu boasted a simple but delightful selection of dishes, and I found it difficult to choose just one favourite . The wine list was extensive and carefully curated and went well with the food. While the bar seating option might appeal to some, I would highly recommend opting for a table if possible. It provides a more comfortable and relaxed setting. However, even if you end up at the bar, you won't be disappointed. The restaurant's self-awareness and contentment shine through, regardless of where you're seated. Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves recognition.

We really enjoyed the food - small plates to share. Very varied and delicious. Also, quite a quirky place to eat and have wine/cocktails. Very friendly and attentive staff too.

Delicious food and wine with amazing service. One of our party has a serious allergy and our waitress (Maya) ensured that the kitchen was aware of this and prepared separate dishes.We were confident that she had everything under control.We will be back.

Good and unique plates but very expensive. Went back and the service was terrible, we had made a reservation and we ate quite quickly, so when we were on our dessert we were interrupted to ask to move which made us feel uncomfortable and made us not want to stay for a drink, very disappointed and was baffles how we were treated.

Really special, unexpected experience. This place is perfect for a date or to bring out of towners. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner yesterday. It feels like you’re in your best friends home, being treated to a lovely dinner. Exceptional food and a warm, welcoming team. The rabbit lasagne was delicious!

Love this spot! Delicious food although small portions and nice selection of wine and cozy interior. I commented on how much I liked the butter and the guy working there gave me a stick of it. I thought that was nice

UPDATED REVIEW With huge regret, this place deserves a big downgrade. We’ve been a few times in more recent months and unfortunately it’s been very disappointing. Historically, it was one of our favourite places in London but, whilst the food has been relatively good, the wine recommendations have been completely off the last two times. The concept of having no wine list is great but the offering needs to be known inside out by the somm and their team and this clearly isn’t the case. Unfortunately, it will be our last time here. OLD REVIEW Came for lunch after a friend recommended it and it was absolutely amazing. Firstly, the food was fantastic, the pork belly in particular was cooked to perfection. We also tried the raw beef with coffee mayo (although not officially on the lunch menu the staff very kindly arranged for it to be made) and that too was spectacular. The wine was also excellent, personally not a fan of low-intervention/organic wines but Naughty Piglet picked the perfect bottles to go with our food. Finally, the service was spectacularly good! Unpretentious, super helpful and just generally lovely people. I’ll be back more than once!

Really good lunch. Small plates are varied and really tasty and sized to share. The larger plates (we had fish) a bit less interesting and I’d give it a miss in favour of more small plates. Wine choices good and waiting staff able to helpfully advise. Nice place for lunch. Not fancy. Relaxing.

It has been a few years since I came here but my visit has stayed with me ever since. It was a visit that encapsulated all that is wrong with London restaurants: 'small-plate' stinginess, a bill with an accidental zero on it and middle-of-the-road fare that looks nice on Instagram but ultimately writes a cheque it could never cash. It was a visit that not only convinced me to never go back there, but also one that stopped me eating out almost entirely. People love this place. I can sort see why to be fair to them. But for those of us living outside Time-Out circlejerk this is a waste of our time. Don't waste yours too.
