The best restaurants in Islington London

Oops! Just realised I’ve not given a review. Love this little family run restaurant so come here every once in a while as it is a bit further from home. Quite small and cosy but most important thing is they serve delicious authentic Thai food which I always enjoy. I’ve been trying different things each time and never disappoint. Though obviously some dishes can be either bit more on the sweeter side or spicier, each to their own but I loose out a little as I can’t handle spicy food, so tend to go for the milder dishes. Recommend this lovely little restaurant!

Best coffee around Highbury Corner. Marco and Darren are a local institution. Try the Quesadillas and Stephens blueberry and lemon cake

Pleasant food, served nicely. A good range of food. This was our second visit and it was as good as the first time, which probably says all that is needed.

I’m sorry but this can’t be called pizza. Very bad… I don’t taste any tomato and the cheese doesn’t like mozzarella I’m sure they use something else. Also bread is not how pizza bread is meant to be i guess they should find a new flour brand

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years - with the family - that’s a hell of a lot of pizzas! It’s had changes in management, new paint/decor and the food has remained consistently delicious. The team are lovely. It’s my favourite place to go - I would live in if I could…….Bravo! One thing I would change if I could ? - the TV turn it off, play some sounds. Grazie mille

Mi esposa y yo estábamos muy impresionados con la ubicación de Chicago cuando cenamos allí a principios de este año. Así que estábamos ansiosos por probar uno de los siete lugares de Londres. Elegimos el lugar de Air Street en Piccadilly Circus. Ubicado en una sala art déco con vistas a Regent Street, cerca de los teatros del West End, está abierto desde las 11 : 45 a 3 y 4 : 45 a 9 : 30 lunes y martes 11 : 45 a 3 y 4 : 45 a 10 el miércoles y jueves 11 : 45 a 3 y 4 : 45 a 10 : 30 el viernes y el sábado y 11 : 45 a 9 el domingo. Para empezar, tuvimos un cóctel de gambas con pan Guinness y mantequilla, ensalada Hawksmoor Caesar con anchoas, ensalada Heritage de tomate con tocino batido y crutones de aceite de oliva y vieiras asadas con mantequilla de ajo. Para nuestras entradas, elegimos Dover Sole a la parrilla sobre carbón vegetal con puré de patatas y salsa y espinacas cremadas y un gran corte de Chateaubriand con salsa bearnesa, grano de pimienta y salsa de médula ósea, hongos al ajo y patatas nuevas enmantequilladas. De postre, compartimos pudín de toffee pegajoso con crema coagulada y una tarta de chocolate y caramelo salado con sorbete de chocolate. Sí, Hawksmoor sabe lo que hace a ambos lados del Océano Atlántico.

The top restaurant in London. The food is truly delicious, innovative and always fresh. We love to come back here since the menu changes everyday. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff very friendly and attentive. We will keep coming back ❤️

A lovely experience in a beautiful restaurant. You feel like you have just walked off the streets of Paris into a cool secret. The ambience is accompanied with stellar service, the kind that you only realise your glass is nearly empty because the waiter has already begun to top it up. The food was yummy with portion sizes you can appreciate.

5 Stars – A Truly Unforgettable Experience, Thanks to Kate I was honestly anxious about the whole idea of dining in complete darkness – it’s not something I ever imagined doing. But from the moment we were greeted, Kate changed everything. Her calm, confident energy instantly put me at ease. She guided us through the experience with humour, empathy, and genuine care. The experience itself was fascinating – a total sensory reset. You appreciate food in a whole new way when you’re not relying on sight. But what truly made the night unforgettable was Kate. Her ability to manage the room, keep things flowing, and make every guest feel comfortable was nothing short of incredible. Kate, you turned something I was nervous about into one of the best nights I’ve had in London. Thank you.

This is the best vegetarian place in London. I have been coming here for a very long time. Always delicious, warm, and very healthy for your body !

Perfect food every time I go, love the carrot cake and latte! Have also had lunch there with the wraps - tasty. Spacious and lots of room for the kids.

Great spot just by the canal, love it here, it’s a good place to watch the big sports events- they don’t Show Premier league But it gets Super lively for the 6nations Rugby and international Football - theres an excellent and very friendly pub cat and the Sunday roast absolutely bangs. Queer friendly and a lovely welcoming Team. Absolutely adore this Place, it’s where the locals in the area drink which tells you everything you need to know. Big ups the Rosie family ♥️
