Staying at Crowne Plaza and they wanted £25 a head for breakfast.. went to Cafe Maya and ordered the full English with extras .. my lady .. beans on toast.. class food class value ❤️👌

We visited on a weekday evening. The restaurant was busy but the first impression was of a top restaurant and that impression continued all evening, with high quality service. For many people this is clearly a restaurant for a special night out - many guests were smartly dressed. More importantly, the food was excellent - the sharing platter of chateaubriand and lamb chops was very good, as were the desserts. There is a good wine list with a decent number of wines available by the glass or carafe.

Gin tasting - the beautiful Edith was informative knowledgeable funny and entertaining - excellent gin tasting experience could have carried on socialising with this gorgeous girl - amazing experience fabulous

Great place. Had wonderful food and the choice of beers were great. Well placed for access to the tube too!

My husband and I have been going to Zaffrani for more than 10 years and we always had a great experience. The food is so delicious and the the host Jack and his team are absolutely wonderful! Even though it was a warm day, I really fancied a roast beef Sunday lunch, but one that wouldn’t break the bank. At £15,50, this delivered - a really generous and tasty plate of food. Not gourmet but extremely satisfying and excellent value. Service lovely too.

Perfect weekend brunch spot. We visited for the first time today and have found a new favourite place. I had the creamed spinach, cheese, roast pepper, and egg bap which was one genuinely of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had! Chilled atmosphere, friendly staff & good coffee.

A cozy independent pub tucked off Exmouth Market, perfect if you're looking to avoid the usual crowds. They do have weird hours though so check they'll be open before visiting! They've got a great selection of beers - some of the usuals and some lesser-known ones. Don’t miss the English Sparkling wine, and the low-alcohol lager is worth a try too. Prices are reasonable for the area, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The decor is simple with a fun touch, and the owners, often behind the bar, are friendly but not overly chatty. It definitely has a pleasant atmosphere. Just a heads-up: if you have Citystack, they may be a bit unfamiliar with it.
