Another great night out at Terra Rossa! I tend not to go to Italian restaurants in London (I'm Italian), but I have to make an exception for this place. I love to treat my my family and friends here. Annarita food is amazing, Francois and his staff are extremely polite and attentive...there is a general good vibe as soon as you step in. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

The food was truly incredible. From the pizza on the kids menu, and the chicken, to the Burrata as a starter. Every dish exceeded expectations. The highlight was undoubtedly the truffle spaghetti, which stands out as the best I've ever had in London or anywhere else in the world. The tiramisu was just the way I prefer it—creamy and generously portioned. I highly recommend trying it. The service was great too. Regrettably, our lunch was cut short due to the disturbance caused by our two young children, but we are eager to return for another visit.

We recently went to this lovely family run restaurant for lunch. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. François and his team have done an amazing job. The house wine was particularly delicious. We tried the signature dishes - the octopus ragu and the wild boar. Would highly recommend.

We'd been here before with one of our grandchildren and had liked it, so we popped in for dinner after an event in the area. The vegetarian pasta with beans and tomato sauce was very amateurish, the ravioli, with the same tomato sauce, was ok. Most of the staff were polite and pleasant. Our main waiter didn't seem to be able to cope with us being a female couple, and served us in an embarrassing performative way. We probably wouldn't go back. We could live with the food being mediocre but we want to feel like any other customer paying money for a meal in a restaurant.

My dad and I went for lunch at Terra Rossa yesterday afternoon after a couple of his work clients recommended it to him. We had bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start, which was a lovely way to start a meal. We then had an absolutely delicious meaty pizza with cured beef, sausage meat and some rocket - genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. To finish, I had a homemade tiramisu and my dad had a chocolate soufle. Overall an absolutely lovely place to eat, the food was incredibly delicious, and our server was lovely and helpful. Will definitely be going again if we’re ever in the Islington area!

What a family friendly place with attentive staff and delicious cuisine!

Rather nice lunch today with good food and nice service. Unfortunately weekends lunch the restaurant is mostly large families with unruly kids (as parents today can't control their brats). Very loud and not chilled. Maybe try again in weekday evening. Service was very attentive and food was fine.

Went for dinner on the weekend, great atmosphere and very tasty food! Everything was made to perfection, great service and friendly staff. 10/10 recommend.

The pizza was absolutely delicious however we were charged for extra toppings we didn't have. We also felt quite misled as we were charged £7 for what was obviously tap water in a used glass bottle. I would recommend checking the bill before paying.

Came here on Friday night with two friends without a booking and even though it was packed they still kindly found a table for us. Food and service was outstanding, best pizza, wine and Lemon sorbet dessert ever and can’t wait to return!!

*Nice place, very un-Italian food, very touristy, everything too seasoned, panzerotti not up to par, meatballs not good, burrata expensive, Gavi dei Gavi wine too expensive considering the quality (55 lat), only the pick me up was saved, the staff was very friendly and helpful, however the food was terrible*

Lovely staff, good place to eat. Just be aware that it gets loud and very jolly. As a party of vegetarians and gluten free, it was not only easy but really lovely food.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Amazing service to boot. We completely cleared our plates. Sauces are perfectly seasoned. Best burrata appetizer served with pumpkin sauce - so unique. We had the pochette and polpette pasta and the burrata ravioli with an incredible tomato wine sauce. I don’t recommend the profiteroles over the other options.

Delicious food, reminiscent of the pizzas we had in Italy. The quality is very close - something that its hard to find in London. The service was excellent, welcoming staff and friendly owner. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend and most certainly visit again.

Amazing birthday dinner for my mum! Great authentic apulian food, we are locals from Bari and we were delight to taste our traditional dishes and pizzas. Great customer service with a nice candlelight surprise for my mum at the end provided from the staff! Lovely in every aspect and amazing quality! Best apulian food spot in London! We will come back surely many other times!

Amazing Restaurant with welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, Marco was very helpful and made sure all the courses were delivered in timely manner, I have been in the restaurant in Angel and also the one in St Paul, both great, the food is delicious, I loved the Parmigiana starter and the octopus Ragù, they also have a great selection of wine with a wide range of pricing, highly recommended

Sunday gone, had been told it was good an several times opted for something else instead. This time I decided to give it a go for a relaxing lunch after a long week at work (work in hospitality). Nice chalourous decor, welcoming and attentive staff. I have the greatest experience I could ask. Upon choosing my beer, been offered to try the amber artisanal beer with a hint of pepper flavour to it which I really enjoyed but was not the type of beer I wanted to go for. Really appreciated the service quality there and the offering. I went for a blond beer instead (artisanal also :)! Ordered the Terra rossa pizza (mushroom instead of sausage), I believe best pizza I had in london in 12 years I have been here. Amazing flavours, dough was tasting amazing and cooked to perfection. Right crunchiness and moisture left to it. Plenty of feeling and the tomato sauce felt very fresh and not acidic full of flavours. My date went for the ravioli which were great too with a tomato sauce I imagine home made by the taste and look of it. I went for a dessert after a delicious pizza and opted for the chocolate soufflé and vanilla ice cream alongside the delicious homemade limoncello (served extra cold in a frozen shot glass, great touch !). Well as a person who makes a great chocolate fondant I can say was one of the best chocolate dessert I have tasted. Great texture, cooking and intense flavours. If the vanilla ice cream isn’t homemade it was of great quality ! At this point I did not really want to leave so to extend this lovely experience I have decided to go for a Macchiato and just appreciate the moment! Thank you for a real moment of pleasure I will definitely be back in the evening to enjoy the coziness of the indivual lamps on the table and most probably will bring some friends over too ! Ps: thank you to the manager great talking to you (apologies I have forgotten your name I would think Angelo but will ask again next time to remember it ! A must do in Angel if you like Italian food. For management as feedback a couple of things to look for maybe a little crumbing post main on the table when possible would be a nice touch . Also staff missed a couple of occasions to remove our empty drinks from the table despite bringing something over until the manager pick them up. This is just to go an extra mile was already wondeful as it was 🙏🙌. See you soon Viv.

Location is beautiful and we were warmly welcomed. Service is outstanding and food too - we recommend that you get the traditional dishes from Puglia that are their speciality. Highly recommended.

Nice little eatery, great ambience, food nice albeit a little Limited. We opted for the scallops (yum), I had ribeye steak (cooked perfectly), pizza (stonebaked) tiramisu was nice but I felt needed a little more liqueur. Cocktails nice and really friendly staff,

Popped in for dinner yesterday with my daughter, after watching play in Almeida theatre, and it was fantastic. Dishes were to die for. Absolutely amazing. Place was quite full, but our food arrived in a speed of light and was divine. Worth to visit again.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch with my extended family. Food was fantastic the staff beyond excellent and atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend this incredible place.

I can’t thank Terra Rossa enough for such a wonderful lunch for our post wedding ceremony! They went out of their way to serve us all and make sure my every wish was catered for! They allowed us to bring a cake, party favours and set the table how we wanted. It was a wonderful surprise to see it set up perfectly. Our waitress was very attentive and the service was great. The food was enjoyed by all and was exceptional value and taste. We were a party of 12, all of us left very happy! Thank you again for having us and we will be recommending this place to all our friends and family. Thank you! Xx

Firstly because you were able to accept our booking yesterday lunchtime for 11 people (70-year old school friends who meet up on a regular basis) and also for the lovely food, which everyone enjoyed, and for the very attentive and friendly serving staff. Brilliant food with lots of Vegan options filling a whole separate menu which I was not expecting! The Pizza Zucca & Noci was fantastic! The staff were very friendly throughout and though it was busy the food did not take long to come.

Graditissima sorpresa di poter assaggiare a Londra, dei piatti che rispettano al 100% la tradizione Salentina. All'interno si nota subito la ricercatezza dei particolari per ricreare una piacevole atmosfera tipicamente Salentina. Lo staff molto professionale ed amichevole allo stesso tempo, disponibilissimi a darti info extra su trasporti pubblici e varie della città. PS Burrata e paccheri al ragù di mare da non perdere.....

We went as a family of five for a late meal on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was fantastic. The menu was full of mouthwatering dishes. Highly recommend all the seafood dishes and the pappardelle with wild boar. The flavours were exceptional. Service was friendly and quick. We were offered a complimentary latte and sorbet as our dessert choice had run out- this was greatly appreciated. Angel is a busy, popular area. I would encourage all visitors to the area to try this amazing restaurant! Definite 5 stars from the whole family.

This would have been a 3 star ratings if not for the comments from the server at the end. We have been to terra rossa several times before and had no issues with the food or service. Unfortunately, this time we had to twice send back our pasta for being visibly undercooked, but the third time received a perfectly cooked al dente pasta from an apologetic member of staff. After requesting the bill we were approached by another member of staff, who offered no compensation or apology, and after waiting for our payment to go through informed us that “if we wanted our pasta overcooked we should inform our server next time”. We are not looking for over cooked food, simply cooked and edible food. I hope Terra Rossa staff will try to listen to customers in the future, and not make rude and unnecessary comments. We will not be returning, and have recommended our friends and family avoid this restaurant.

For a big party of 18, Marco delivered top tier service ensuring food was sent out in a timely manner, provided everything we needed and all done with great banter and speed. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely highly recommend the restaurant as a whole experience!

having recently holidayed in Puglia, we decided to travel to Terra Rossa for the food but also to remind ourselves of the wonderful beer, Agricola and WOW we were not disappointed. we took out daughter to celebrate exam results and the night was perfect. We went fairly early so there were a number of young families but that just added to the charm and family friendly atmosphere. it quietened down a the evening went on and despite a large party arriving our service was not compromised at all. The food was perfect, fresh and brimming with flavour. the seafood pasta was amazingly generous with fish and I can thoroughly recommend the octopus pasta. We cannot wait to bring friends back next month. thank you.

Despite living in the area for years I have never actually been to Terra Rossa before and I feel I have really missed out! Fabulous pasta and tiramisu, not to mention the very generously portioned Negroni!

Not impressed - limited menu offering pasta / pizza/ risotto. The food was OK but I've had better elsewhere. Service was OK but not what I would call typical Italian waiters. Had some visitors from overseas so wanted to show them a nice place. Won't go back - too many other good places to go to.

Took my partner for her 30th birthday yesterday and it was a perfect place. The atmosphere was friendly with a warmth to it and the staff were attentive and let us try 2 wines before ordering. The service was prompt (almost too much so!) and the food was delicious. I had the Terra Rossa pizza whilst my partner had the margarita and would recommend either.

100% recommend. Some of the best wine I’ve had in London and amazing Italian food.

Thanks to the barkeep at the Cockpit, who directed our tired and hungry family of five to the St Paul's location. Food, wine, and service were excellent.
