One of the best restaurants in London with very kind and helpful waiters, I recommend it to everyone

Ate here one night with my family and was so good we came again not even 24 hours later. The pizza and pasta are absolutely divine. We all agreed the last time we ate pizza this good was when we lived in Italy. Please do yourself a favor and stop by - service is lovely and atmosphere is cozy and comforting. An islington must eat!

Delightful lunch, Nico was very hospitable and warm. We had the mushroom and truffle fresh pasta and Diavola pizza which were both perfect! A new favourite place. Bonus points for homemade limoncello to sip!

Have been here several times since being diagnosed with coeliac disease and besides the restaurant being a lovely friendly place I can also super recommend the wonderful, varied gluten free menu :) will be back (again and again)

Great authentic food. Fantastic starters and mains. Wine selection is good. Service was very efficient but at times felt pressurised to upsell to premium products despite declining several times.

Overall everything was just okay. It is a very cute little neighbourhood restaurant but the food and service were underwhelming. We ordered the Elisa salad to start (okay but needed salt), the terra rossa pizza (again very little flavour), and a Grano Arso pasta (bizarre, the broccoli puree was like baby food, the sauce was overly thick and overwhelmingly sweet and overall looked off putting). After our meal we sat with dirty dishes for 15 minutes trying to track down our server or any staff to get the bill. It wasn’t until I approached the bar that someone paid any attention to us. Overall not worth the price.

We went to this Italian place on a Saturday evening for a weekend in London, excellent pizza and top quality ingredients! Almost entirely Italian staff, super warm welcome, we had the pleasure of meeting Romeo, an Italian boy with whom we exchanged pleasant chats! A special thanks also to Raffaele, who made you feel at home straight away! Super recommended, we will definitely be back

I had a gluten free margarita pizza, it was very tasty and in fact reminded me of when I had a GF pizza in Venice which was one of the best pizza’s I have had. When the food came I went to the toilet but the staff were more than happy to reheat the food and it tasted lovely. Thank you for the service and tasty food, I recommend!

first time trying Terra Rossa and we had a very good lunch experience. service was exceptional, as was ambience. for food we had staples from Salento: fave e cicoria, panzerotti, orecchiette alle cime di rapa, pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, pasticciotto (all accompanied by a good glass of negroamaro and taralli). the pasta were excellent. a bit less convincing was the pasticciotto, which was served fridge-cold and the pastry was not really "crumbly" (maybe used butter rather than lard, not sure). overall it was a very good, hearty lunch served with a wonderful smile

Absolutely delicious. Every dish we bought here had its own identity. Flavoursome, well balanced and unpretentious. Whoever was in the kitchen needs high praise indeed. As do the servicing staff; attentive, friendly and professional. Put all that together with the stylish and relaxed atmosphere and what you end up with a beautiful dining experience. Top marks Terra Rossa and thank you.

Terra Rossa blew me and my friend away, we were there for dinner and the food was delicious. They have very good wines and the service was the highlight. ROMEO our waiter was very polite, sympathetic and made our experience there one that I recommend to anyone! Thank you!

WOW! What an incredible experience at Terra Rossa! Every dish the 6 of us had was simply perfect - rich flavours, fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. They has brilliant options for vegans (2 of us were), with separate vegan and gluten-free menus. We celebrated my husband's parents anniversary at the restaurant and had fantastic service throughout our meal - it truly made for a special day!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was quick, and the staff went above and beyond, even offering water for our dog. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the real surprise was the amazing pizza called Terra Rossa - far better than we expected to find on a high street in London. We'll definitely be coming back!

Everything was authentic, except for the food. The service was lovely from an enthusiastic host, he made good suggestions and made us feel welcome. The entree of Burrata was delicious although could have used some bread to come with. My wife ordered the seafood risotto but said the seafood didn’t feel fresh and the rice was perhaps undercooked. I felt the same for my boar pasta dish, the meat was great but the pasta was undercooked. The atmosphere was great and intimate for our table of 2, however with the food quality - I’m not sure it justifies the more than 120 pounds for an entree, two mains and two drinks.

In a town with many, many Italian restaurants the Terra Rosa continues to hit it out of the park. Terra Rosa is both dog and child friendly. Best to book first 👍

We went yesterday evening for a Hen Party. Great Service - Seran our waitress was wonderful, great personality and very attentive. Spent along time with our friend who had allergies making sure she was fully informed. Food was very good and we had been allocated a table at the back of the restaurant for our party of 11 which had a sliding roof and the ventilation was very much appreciated on a warm evening. Thank you to all the staff at Terra Rossa for looking after us.

there are no words to describe the experience spent in this restaurant. welcoming service, short but decisive menu, synonymous with fresh products. I was almost shocked by what we were served, many times not even in Italy you can reach certain levels. fresh products and high experience in vuvina distinguish this place from many places in London.....London, for 2 hours spent here you almost forget where you are because it feels like you have returned home. As for the bill, I'm speechless, given the quality they could look for much more... rating 10 out of 10. If you are in London and want Italian cuisine, come here without hesitation.

Avoid! Bathrooms were disgusting. Clearly this has translated into terrible kitchen hygiene, as I was very sick the following day. Will not be going here again.

We came here for a birthday and it was a lovely evening. Romeo took such good care of us and was super attentive, making us laugh and brought out the birthday girl’s dessert on a lovely happy birthday plate. Will definitely be back here.

Excellent Italian products, perfectly cooked, and a superb wine list. Little crush on burrata, whose combination of flavors is out of the ordinary! Very warm and pleasant service. I highly recommend.

I’ve had Terra Rossa on my list to come to for years, and after last night I found it an underwhelming and mediocre experience. Firstly the tables where we were seated in the conservatory at the back were super sticky, to the point you don’t want to put your elbows or hands on it, even my wife didn’t want her bag on it. The plates were badly chipped, and when the menus came they were tatty with burn marks and in awful condition. We ordered the food and the first course was okay, nothing special (scallops and the croquettes). The main was disappointing, the tartufo pasta is sauce and Tonneralli pasta on a plate, it is neither cooked together nor given an opportunity to marry the flavours together. Adding black truffle on top is for show as everyone knows black truffle barely has any taste, at £21 it was disappointing. This is not how pasta is served in Italy, so I can’t call this authentic. The side of fried artichokes had the same taste as the croquettes, which makes me wonder is it just the seasoned batter that can be tasted, or is it very old and reused oil that is imparting the flavour on it, either way it wasn’t great. The dessert was okay (Tiramisu), my wife found it too strong with coffee but I actually liked the strength of it, however the cream was whipped too stiff and overall the dessert felt too stiff. The table next to us left, and was re set with plates and crockery, but none of them were sprayed or cleaned properly which explains why the tables are so sticky. The waiters clearly know this as when our plates were collected there is an added effort to lift it from the table as it’s sticky and stuck against it. Overall a very average experience, I’m glad I came as I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for years, but I absolutely would not return nor recommend it. I feel I’ve been kind with 3/5 because as a restaurant claiming to be authentic, it misses several key indicators, were this rating out of 10 I would have given 4.5/10. The service was polite though a little absent at points. Tap water brought to the table immediately without asking which was nice. All things considered however you’d be better off looking elsewhere for an authentic and fulfilling Italian restaurant.

We went to the St. Paul’s location in London and had Romeo as our server. The meal was fantastic- particularly the Grana Arso pasta and the golosone for dessert. Romeo was warm and friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable! Would definitely come back again and again.

Problem recording the reservation quickly resolved. Very expensive aperitif. Difficult to have the olives and focaccia with it. Very good food, excellent and hearty seafood risotto. Dessert menu a little short. On the other hand, for a gluten-free and lactose-free meal this is not the best place. Stays very well

Eating at Terra Rosa was such a great experience today. It was a warm evening so we were able to sit by the open doors and enjoy fresh air while eating. Romeo our waiter, was attentive and funny. He made great recommendations throughout our meal, especially our desert a homemade beignet with ice cream and caramel inside. Never tasted anything like it. Really delicious!!! Will be back again :)

I definitely recommend this Apulian restaurant. As an Apulian myself I can confirm the menu is authentic and the quality of the food very good! Our waiter Romeo gave us very good tips and was welcoming and very attentive. Must try!

Delicious food. Had the ravioli. It is clear that it is a twist on the "general italian" food and has a more focused, hometown, taste. Strong flavors that doesn't just rely on the ingredients, but they have great spices to make the taste more authentic to the Puglia (italy) localized cuisine.

Great pizzas and pasta in fact everything was fantastic including beef carpaccio and scallops starter. We had terra rossa pizza and a family of 4 came in and copied us and loved it too

A very nice restaurant, what you might call a hidden gem, but hiding in plain sight on Upper Street! Special mention goes to the draught beer, Taranta, which was excellent.

We had a good time. I love the setting of the restaurant with open windows and a lot of light. Food was great. We had bruschetta al pomodoro, fave and cicoria, burrata, melanzane alla parmigiana e pasta al grano arso. Draught beers are also local and cool.

We had our wedding lunch for 15 people here yesterday and it was AMAZING. Thank you so much to the Terra Rossa team for making our time so special. We wanted for nothing and were transported to Italy. The highlight was being brought a mixture of chef-recommended starters to share. We’ll be back!!

Surprisingly good. Family-cooking style and the flavor is balanced and mild. All dishes we ordered are lovely. Even dessert is above the par, better than most restaurants of this price range.

We went to Terra Rossa yesterday for lunch to celebrate my mum's birthday. I'd been before, and wanted to take my parents here and it did not disappoint. My parents loved it and we were looked after by the waiter Romeo. The food was delicious, the cod in tomato sauce is incredible. The service from Romeo was wonderful, everything arrived quickly, and all the food arrived together. We didn't feel rushed and were left to enjoy the afternoon. The pizza was delicious and the dessert was so delicious. Make sure to try the Golosone. The caramel sauce was amazing. We will most definitely be back, especially for the cod in the best tomato sauce I've had in a restaurant. Thank you Romeo for looking after us so well, and making my mum's birthday lunch very special. You don't often get friendly waiters anymore who are happy to have a chat and have a laugh any more. Can't wait to some back!

A fantastic Puglian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and phenomenal food and drinks - the octopus ragu is worth the trip alone. Great digestivo menu. Wonderful friendly service from Romeo and team.
