The best vegan pizza I have ever had - and I’ve been vegan for 5 years! The octopus rigatoni also had fantastic reviews, with fab service and delicious cocktails. We’ll be back.

On the menu, it says if you like to order risotto order it early since it takes 20 mins to prepare. I waited 45 mins for it. Before that we ordered Carpaccio and Panzerotti, they were delicious. The risotto is also good 😊 Give the place a try, I believe you like it 🎈

Love this restaurant! Authentic regional Italian food with an interesting menu and friendly staff. Particular shout out to the amazing Christian who apprehended a thief who walked out with my laptop bag which I had foolishly left behind my seat.

It felt like being back home, during Summer. Food is spot on and typical southern. Italian. Atmosphere is just great and service is attentive but not disturbing. You must go there. I came here with my family and I was looking for a place I knew it would be easy for them to pick something to order. As we are from the south of Italy, when we got into Terra Rossa in Angel I really hoped it was good. And it was actually perfect. I felt like we were in our villa in Puglia, having food with the loved ones. Ingredients are clearly fresh, wine was amazing and serving the focaccia with pinzimonio is an idea that makes you understand that the place is run by pure southern Italian people. The meat in the Pappardelle al Cinghiale melts in your mouth and Fettuccine Funghi Porcini E Tartufo just smells like forest - having the crunchiness of the tartufo slices, it makes the dish different from the usual Funghi E Tartufo pasta. When we were there the manager told us they were trying to bring back on the menu the Vitello Tonnato, so we ordered that to see if it worth it. It probably needed a bit more sauce, to not feel too dry, but it was good overall. There's really nothing I can complain about. We were lucky we found ourselves there when there were only 4 tables to serve, so waiters and manager could give us all the attention. I really appreciated that the manager let us sit in the best spot available, at the bottom of the restaurant, without forcing us to sit in front by the window, just to attract more customers. Nobody rushed us through the meal which was quiet and relaxed, making the whole experience absolutely perfect. I'm sure it won't be the same during peak times, but if you are looking for an authentic and high quality southern Italian restaurant, Terra Rossa in Angel is where you must go.

A true Italian pearl in the heart of London. I ate divinely and was welcomed with a kindness that is hard to forget. The authentic flavors surprised me: I did not expect to find a piece of Italy so far from home. It is evident that the choice of ingredients is made with great care and passion. The staff is the real added value of the restaurant: professional, competent and always friendly. An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to taste real Italian cuisine in London.

Coeliac-friendly pizza cooked in a completely separate oven.

Now that’s how a pizza should taste! Crispy base, rich toppings, full of flavour. Proper pizza, done right. The host was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

Amazing family lunch on Easter Day at Terra Rossa. Service was quick and staff very personable and kind. We had an amazing past with octopus ragout sauce with, seafood risotto (they make a different risotto every day), a staple of the Puglia cuisine, orecchiette pasta with cime di rapa (broccoli), a tasty pizza and to end on a sweet note, some gelato and the typical Pasticciotto with custard from Salento region. Price was in line with an Italian restaurant in central London, especially given two dishes had seafood. The only thing I would have liked differently is having more vegetables on the pizza but it’s just if I really need to give advice. We’ll be back for sure!!!

After three days wandering around London eating only fast food we finally found a place to eat real food to celebrate my son's birthday... what can I say?! Exceptional.. Super welcome.. excellent food and super friendly and fast service.. If you are looking for a good restaurant I recommend it.. we will definitely return.. 😊

My partner and I had a pasta craving and fortunately this restaurant had space for walk-ins on a busy Saturday night. We both really enjoyed our dishes. The octopus ragu was so flavourful and the seafood pasta was also very delicious, with a generous amount of seafood. We shared a homemade tiramisu for dessert which definitely hit the spot as well. Staff were also really lovely. I would definitely revisit!

Great Italian food in an amazing atmosphere!

We had delicious pizzas at this restaurant before flying out of London. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Reservations highly recommended as the place can become packed.

Just finished lunch £100 later went to bathroom and was greeted on the floor was a cockroach, 🪳 killed and reported to manager and explanations that bathroom’s opposite kitchen has recently been renovated ….. I explained that doesn’t help me now I feel slightly queasy 🤢

I booked a table for 4 a day in advance, it was really busy on arrival (testament to good food) and we waited about 20 mins post booking BUT the food was amazing, the staff were wonderful and they didn't charge us for any drinks due to waiting to be seated after we booked ahead and we had more than a few. Beautiful people, highly recommend

Beautiful restaurant. The pizza was perfect, the best. Even the gluten-free one!!! A little more expensive by our standards 😁. The only thing that bothered me was the non-functioning women's toilet. But that's just a temporary bug 😉 But they had beautiful lighting, see photo

Very disappointing meal for party of 4 people. I had a glass of house wine while waiting for the others to arrive. It was vile, couldn't finish it. The portions of mains were tiny, and we left hungry, despite also having a desert.The food arrived super quickly after ordering which was a bad omen.My boar with pasta had 3 bits of meat, parmigiana wouldn't have sufficed as a starter although it was a main. The bread was hard, dry, crumbling, salad was insulting and their homemade chips were undercooked and tasteless. No one came over throughout the meal. Overall a very disappointing experience which should have been a celebration.

Ate here one night with my family and was so good we came again not even 24 hours later. The pizza and pasta are absolutely divine. We all agreed the last time we ate pizza this good was when we lived in Italy. Please do yourself a favor and stop by - service is lovely and atmosphere is cozy and comforting. Delightful lunch, Nico was very hospitable and warm. We had the mushroom and truffle fresh pasta and Diavola pizza which were both perfect! A new favourite place. Bonus points for homemade limoncello to sip!

Overall everything was just okay. It is a very cute little neighbourhood restaurant but the food and service were underwhelming. We ordered the Elisa salad to start (okay but needed salt), the terra rossa pizza (again very little flavour), and a Grano Arso pasta (bizarre, the broccoli puree was like baby food, the sauce was overly thick and overwhelmingly sweet and overall looked off putting). After our meal we sat with dirty dishes for 15 minutes trying to track down our server or any staff to get the bill. It wasn’t until I approached the bar that someone paid any attention to us. Overall not worth the price.

We went to this Italian place on a Saturday evening for a weekend in London, excellent pizza and top quality ingredients! Almost entirely Italian staff, super warm welcome, we had the pleasure of meeting Romeo, an Italian boy with whom we exchanged pleasant chats! I had a gluten free margarita pizza, it was very tasty and in fact reminded me of when I had a GF pizza in Venice which was one of the best pizza’s I have had. When the food came I went to the toilet but the staff were more than happy to reheat the food and it tasted lovely. Thank you for the service and tasty food, I recommend!

first time trying Terra Rossa and we had a very good lunch experience. service was exceptional, as was ambience. for food we had staples from Salento: fave e cicoria, panzerotti, orecchiette alle cime di rapa, pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, pasticciotto (all accompanied by a good glass of negroamaro and taralli). the pasta were excellent. a bit less convincing was the pasticciotto, which was served fridge-cold and the pastry was not really "crumbly" (maybe used butter rather than lard, not sure). overall it was a very good, hearty lunch served with a wonderful smile

Absolutely delicious. Every dish we bought here had its own identity. Flavoursome, well balanced and unpretentious. Whoever was in the kitchen needs high praise indeed. As do the servicing staff; attentive, friendly and professional. Put all that together with the stylish and relaxed atmosphere and what you end up with a beautiful dining experience. Top marks Terra Rossa and thank you.

WOW! What an incredible experience at Terra Rossa! Every dish the 6 of us had was simply perfect - rich flavours, fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. They has brilliant options for vegans (2 of us were), with separate vegan and gluten-free menus. We celebrated my husband's parents anniversary at the restaurant and had fantastic service throughout our meal - it truly made for a special day!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was quick, and the staff went above and beyond, even offering water for our dog. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the real surprise was the amazing pizza called Terra Rossa - far better than we expected to find on a high street in London. Charming restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine and a warm atmosphere. Recommended by an Italian friend, and it did not disappoint. I'll definitely be returning!

Everything was authentic, except for the food. The service was lovely from an enthusiastic host, he made good suggestions and made us feel welcome. The entree of Burrata was delicious although could have used some bread to come with. My wife ordered the seafood risotto but said the seafood didn’t feel fresh and the rice was perhaps undercooked. I felt the same for my boar pasta dish, the meat was great but the pasta was undercooked. The atmosphere was great and intimate for our table of 2, however with the food quality - I’m not sure it justifies the more than 120 pounds for an entree, two mains and two drinks.

In a town with many, many Italian restaurants the Terra Rosa continues to hit it out of the park. Terra Rosa is both dog and child friendly. Best to book first 👍

there are no words to describe the experience spent in this restaurant. welcoming service, short but decisive menu, synonymous with fresh products. I was almost shocked by what we were served, many times not even in Italy you can reach certain levels. fresh products and high experience in vuvina distinguish this place from many places in London.....London, for 2 hours spent here you almost forget where you are because it feels like you have returned home. As for the bill, I'm speechless, given the quality they could look for much more... rating 10 out of 10. If you are in London and want Italian cuisine, come here without hesitation.

We came here for a birthday and it was a lovely evening. Romeo took such good care of us and was super attentive, making us laugh and brought out the birthday girl’s dessert on a lovely happy birthday plate. Will definitely be back here.

Avoid! Bathrooms were disgusting. Clearly this has translated into terrible kitchen hygiene, as I was very sick the following day. Will not be going here again.

I’ve had Terra Rossa on my list to come to for years, and after last night I found it an underwhelming and mediocre experience. Firstly the tables where we were seated in the conservatory at the back were super sticky, to the point you don’t want to put your elbows or hands on it, even my wife didn’t want her bag on it. The plates were badly chipped, and when the menus came they were tatty with burn marks and in awful condition. We ordered the food and the first course was okay, nothing special (scallops and the croquettes). The main was disappointing, the tartufo pasta is sauce and Tonneralli pasta on a plate, it is neither cooked together nor given an opportunity to marry the flavours together. Adding black truffle on top is for show as everyone knows black truffle barely has any taste, at £21 it was disappointing. This is not how pasta is served in Italy, so I can’t call this authentic. The side of fried artichokes had the same taste as the croquettes, which makes me wonder is it just the seasoned batter that can be tasted, or is it very old and reused oil that is imparting the flavour on it, either way it wasn’t great. The dessert was okay (Tiramisu), my wife found it too strong with coffee but I actually liked the strength of it, however the cream was whipped too stiff and overall the dessert felt too stiff. The table next to us left, and was re set with plates and crockery, but none of them were sprayed or cleaned properly which explains why the tables are so sticky. The waiters clearly know this as when our plates were collected there is an added effort to lift it from the table as it’s sticky and stuck against it. Overall a very average experience, I’m glad I came as I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for years, but I absolutely would not return nor recommend it. I feel I’ve been kind with 3/5 because as a restaurant claiming to be authentic, it misses several key indicators, were this rating out of 10 I would have given 4.5/10. The service was polite though a little absent at points. Tap water brought to the table immediately without asking which was nice. All things considered however you’d be better off looking elsewhere for an authentic and fulfilling Italian restaurant.
