Chicken tandoori is very tasty

The tandoori chicken was totally tasteless and soggy,the keema naan had a disgusting sweet bright red paste in it and the flavours in chicken biryani seemed like someone had thrown random spices in the pot- VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Food was alright had worst and better in other places , but the delivery time was bad ,almost a hour late after the delivery time

Ordered Chicken Rogan-the chicken was really dry and overcooked and the sauce was way too hot for a rogan. Did not enjoy at all

A perfect meal from a perfect restaurant. Helped with a special request and as always delivered on time (maybe even early) with a fantastic delivery driver. I recommend this restaurant.

First time ordering from Monsoon. The delivery was a little late but they called to tell me before the expected delivery time, so I didn't mind. The food arrived hot and fresh, and tasted delicious. Will order again.

One of the nicest Indians I’ve ever had! Best mint sauce and I have had many! Will carry on ordering my curry here.

I wasn't happy with the service. Having to wait over 1 hour for the food and on top of that the restaurant forgetting to include my bottle of drink alongside the food was not acceptable. Food was good as always but today's service was not.

Excellent, as usual. Asked for extra hot and they obliged. Delicious and good and hot! My favourite Indian. Good sized portions, good amount of meat in dishes. Great spicing- not like a lot of places where they make the food too bland. Will be ordering again, of course. Delivered before time estimate, polite delivery person, piping hot food.

I recieved a polite call regarding my request for extra spice for my two dishes. I was assured they were already spicy - they simply were not, at all . The sauces were honestly really poor and sickly. The meat was ok and the rice was decent. Really disappointed and neither of the two curry dishes we ordered were finished and ended up raiding the cupboard for a snack immediately after.

I always order from here. They are great.

Mi familia prueba Monsoon por primera vez anoche y estoy muy contenta de que lo hayamos hecho. Probé cordero methi por primera vez, y ahora es mi curry favorito. Fue absolutamente asombroso. Mi arroz pilau también era muy sabroso. Mi esposo probó el korma y me encantó, ya que era muy espeso y cremoso. Nuestras hijas tenían diferentes panes naan (sencillos, ajo y peshwari), todos deliciosos y enormes. Obtuvimos un descuento del 20% por ser clientes nuevos, por lo que la factura general fue excelente, especialmente teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de comida que pedimos. Aprovechamos también la entrega gratuita que ofrecen. Nuestra comida llegó rápidamente y muy caliente. ¡Perfección!

Very poor standard food - oily, tasteless, far too sweet and creamy.

Very good food, reasonably priced (why the 50p service charge, Just Eat!? Roll it into a delivery charge and I’ll understand totally - but adding some bogus extra charge as I check out? Not cool.) and quick to arrive. I’ll order from these guys again, if perhaps through their website!

I ordered the phall again and it was a bit better than last time, but still needs more heat! You used to get this right but recently it has got milder. I would suggest cooking more chilli powder in the curry and also adding fresh chillis(hot ones!). People who order phall or vindaloo are expecting it super hot. The flavour is good though- just turn the heat up! Apart from that, king prawn puree is always good, sag paneer better this time as it wasn't so sweet as sometimes. Portions good. Onion bhaji was disappointing- too greasy. Still my favourite Indian takeaway though!

Phall is supposed to be the hottest curry and what I got tasted more like a Madras, not hot at all.I want my money back. When I order the hottest curry I expect it to be spicy not watered down. Rice bland.

The food was poor quality. The naan bread tasted hard as if it had been reheated, not fresh tasting. The prawn balti I had was very sweet like they had added sugar to the food.

Generally the dishes are very good, however ordered a dish which was soo bad it’s put me of ordering it in case I order it again by mistake as I forgot which one it was. It was a light brown colour, please please banish it from you menu.

I love this place. I almost always order the lamb biryani and a naan. Not only is the price excellent, but it’s just so incredibly delicious. I’ve ordered at least once a week for a month now and I have been completely satisfied every time. I don’t have the vocabulary for this, but the lamb has the perfect texture and in good proportion, the pieces are small but there are many of them. The rice and vegetables are cooked to perfection and with so much flavour! 10/10

Easy ordering but food quality was very simple and dishes used a conman base very very unauthentic in any aspect

soggy re used chips. curry wasn’t nice at all. pilau rice taste minty.

First time ordering and happy with how prompt delivery was. Should have had more chicken in the main (literally only had 4/5 tiny pieces with the rest of the container filled with sauce) - this was the only major let down.

Always excellent. Recommend king prawn puree and the phall if you like it hot. They even added in a separate bag of fresh chillis because I like it insanely hot! Turned up hot and on time.

The food quality and taste was very bad

Terrible customer service. I received a text at 9.05 saying the food was on its way and over half an hour later I am still waiting. I called the restaurant and was just told ‘two minutes’. This was the longest two minutes I’ve ever waited. I’ve ordered from here several times and this will be the last.

Food was delicious...... need more chicken in korma as a bit stingy with the meat.

Food was bang on time. Every dish had a good flavour and it wasn't swimming in ghee. Matar Paneer was a bit sweet for me but mates loved it.

There was a pitiable amount of chicken in the korma and not of good quality. The tandoori paneer was burnt. Very disappointing and expensive.

Most of the food was ok. But the vegetable masala was inedible. It was incredibly sweet, only tasted of sugar, and the sauce had a weird magenta colour. Like some kind of chinese sweet and sour souce. Service was good though

Our Saturday night take away arrived on time, piping hot and was really tasty. I've had a few really oily curries from other places in the Islington area but this was just right. Would order again!

Delicious food. I highly recommend the phall as it is extremely tasty and intensely spicy, as well as hot, but more flavoursome than hot in my opinion. Actually it is one of the best curries I have had from a restaurant, as usually I find them quite tame. Really outstanding. Sag paneer is also good. Some places make this too sweet but I think the balance is just right here. Good spicy popadoms, so much better than plain ones. Yum.

Best Indian take away ever I always use this takeaway shop and they never fail, love love love there food I would highly recommend them A***

Really tasty Karahi with nice big chunks of tomato, green pepper and onion and tender chicken. With rice and peshwari naan a lovely meal.

Tenía el cordero especial tikka anunciado fuera. Por menos de diez años obtuve una comida increíblemente bien preparada con ensalada de arroz y dos samosas. Como un buen curry de cordero como lo he tenido nunca. Probado muy fresco. Lo cocinaron en unos 15 a 20 minutos. Fue excelente, definitivamente orden de aquí.

They forgot our poppodoms and said sorry they can't come back, also the onion bhajis were really hard and over done and the tikka sauce was very bright red not normal tikka masala! Wouldn't be ordering from here again, not very helpful when spoke to restaurant saying sorry that they will give us free poppodoms next time but we won't be ordering here again.

Delicious, fresh-tasting curry. Had the Chicken karahi, which was absolutely delicious. The naan is great too. Speedy delivery. Will definitely be ordering again.

Biryani and saag also were delicious

This restaurant use to be good but the last two times I have ordered I have been left disappointed. The food has been tasteless and dry and the portion sizes have been small. A few tiny pieces of meat in container filled with sauce and onions and on top of that they put the price up. I felt ripped off after that meal and I will no longer be ordering from them again.

I was order monson jalfrezi which is come with chicken. Lamb.prown & king prawns they charge me king prawns but they did not give king prawns.

The driver still hadn’t left at 9pm although eta was 8.35 originally
