The Pho at Nem Nem is a standout. The broth is rich, with the perfect balance of spices that enhance the overall flavor. The service is also very good.

I have to give low rating for the food quality here. We ordered Cha Ca La Vong (catfish), Nom Muc( mango squid salad), Bun Ca Cay (spicy catfish noodles). The Cha ca la vong was probably the finest among 3. The mango squid salad mostly lecture and very bland. The most disappointed is the main dish Spicy catfish noodles. I think they use the Pho broth and use the catfish from Cha Ca La Vong to make this one. 🥲 nothing close to the authentic Vietnamese flavour.

A good restaurant to eat traditional Vietnamese food, 100 recommended if you are nearby!

Had a fantastic pho and great summer rolls! What made my dinner experience an exceptional one however, was the service provided by Mike, who really ensured that I had a great dinner. Will definitely be back soon

[Please note that this place only takes cash] Came by on a Friday evening without a booking and the upstairs was very busy, but luckily they were able to seat us downstairs. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Service is very quick, from ordering drinks and food to having it all on the table hardly took more than 15 minutes and they served the dishes as they were ready. Having been here a few times before, it makes for a perfect lunch, and equally it’s a great place for dinner. Although it’s very quick service, it does not feel rushed, rather it comes across as attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the spring rolls as a starter, which was crispy and tasty, Pepper Duck, Beef Stew (which was super tasty, but recommended to have with rice to soak up the sauce), and Bun Cha. All being absolutely delicious, however, the Beef Stew was on the more oily end, but nothing that made it stick out as unappetising. All in all, a great place for Vietnamese food if you’re in the Angel area. Will certainly keep coming back!

Anna is a great host. The food is great and its the only reasonably priced restraunt left in Angel. Take cash as no card machine.

Excellent vegan food. Tasty and vegan section clearly marked on right of menu. The sauce in the vegan duck curry was a little salty but still delicious with rice. Would come again.

The food here was spot on. So many veggie / vegan options and all were delicious. We started with the vegan platter, which had a stack of food, and then had the vegan chicken pho, vegan fried rice, and mango vegan fish. Every single thing hit the spot. Fresh and filling. Exactly what you want from a Vietnamese meal. The place itself was nice and spaced out. And the servers were helpful and kind.

Probably one of the best vegans meals I've ever had that is Vietnamese The Grilled Vegan Scallops mushrooms, were so good, one of the most memorable starters I've had in a long time The aubergine was really tasty, and the stir fried mushrooms, umamo flavours. Asked for food recommendations and was not disappointed Thank you, really enjoyed the food!

We had a lovely time here - the food was excellent and the lady in charge of the restaurant was warm and friendly. I noticed her dealing with a problem with another table’s order with absolute grace.

We were told that’s cash only place so went to get some cash before ordering. When we paid the bill, there should be 64p ish changes to return to us but we didn’t receive it - NOT saying we need that 64p but would be great if they would have asked us if that could be their tips rather than just keep it. Also, I respect they close at 11pm but they came to tell us TWICE in a weird attitude just 5 mins before closing whereas other tables were absolutely fine to keep dining - not sure what was that all for?

Definitely a great Vietnamese place to visit! It has a wide variety of vegetarian/vegan options as well as a large selection of foods to try. Super flavorful and refreshing to eat with the amount of tasteful veggies you can get with each dish!

Very good independent Vietnamese restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and I heartily recommend the chicken wings as they were a lovely unique take on them. The betel beef rolls were also delicious. All the dishes that we had were really good. Lemon and kumquat drink was lovely and extremely refreshing! All the food was very reasonably priced. Staff were extremely efficient and also friendly. Only thing I would say is it’s a small restaurant so prepare to be packed in close to other people.

The food was unexpectedly good, I ordered the spicy scallops vegan noodle soup, the "scallops" was the best I've ever tried! My friend ordered the beef pho, he said it's good too. The atmosphere is good, service is good, and the price is reasonable. I will definitely come back!

I came in with my friend earlier today - very friendly waiter and the food came quickly. The food was affordable and filling. More importantly it tasted great! I've always walked past this restaurant but now I've actually been, I'm planning on coming back again sometime :)

Really delicious food and service was so warm and friendly! The menu was helpfully split in half denoting which options were vegan and non-vegan. Will be back. Don’t forget to bring cash :)

I fount this restaurant in the list of the best vegan places. And unfortunately the food and service were disappointing. What was called a Vietnamese noodle salad turned out to be boiled noodles with some vegetables and tofu (which wasn’t supposed to be in the dish as I don’t like it). And we felt rushed to finish the dinner and were brought a bill before even considering deserts.
