Expected more so we were too disappointed! The service was sloooow the food badly cooked! The pappardelle dish was over boiled the risotto of poor taste and in general,. mediocrity

A good place in an interesting location. It felt a bit unpromising on the inside (although I can see other reviews stating a revamp and I did visit last about 18 months ago). Really enjoyed it and it was part of a good crawl through Brentford. Visited again on 21st December 2024 and it hasn't been notably revamped. Table are like those in a Munich beer garden - but much shorter. A couple of handpumps I believe. Still a very nice place.

Booked the place 1 month ago for this evening with my family but had the worst experience, the worst evening because of the atmosphere and services. I don’t recommend any Nepalese to visit this place.

I’m writing to share my disappointment following a visit today to The Italians – usually our number one place to go for the best coffee and delicious croissants. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to the usual high standards we’ve come to expect. We ordered the last two croissants and two coffees. After paying, we were given a beeper and went to our table. When the beeper signalled, we went to collect our order only to find that the last two croissants had been given to someone else. When I enquired about this, I was abruptly told to wait, with the excuse that “it’s busy.” The barista then told me to return to my table and wait again. About 20 minutes later, I returned and was finally handed two croissants – which were cold – and was then shouted at by the barista. He rudely claimed that our coffee had been ready earlier and that he’d called us to collect it. Instead of resolving the issue calmly, he served two other customers before finally remaking our coffee. This kind of treatment was very disappointing, especially at a place we’ve always loved and recommended to others. The service was rude, dismissive, and well below what we’re used to. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously, as we’d really love to continue coming back – but with the level of service we know you’re capable of providing.

Why the old man Alan in golf shop so cranky and rude ? It’s shocking attitude and totally unacceptable . While all young people inside shop work very hard and nice .

Very relaxing and has a good food for sunday roast. It is near the river front and they also do board games

Great food every time, good communication from the restaurant on your order and very quick delivery, have used mings for a few years now and can’t fault them, would highly recommend.

Mi segunda visita a La Trompette fue para almorzar. Como visité un sábado, había un menú a la carta, del que pude seleccionar tres platos por 65 GBP. Entre semana hay disponible una opción adicional con tres cursos por 45 GBP. 65 GBP por la calidad de los platos es barato, y La Trompette me parece que ofrece la mejor relación calidad-precio en todos los restaurantes con estrellas Michelin, que he visitado en Londres. El pan recién hecho y la mantequilla fueron entregados rápidamente a mi mesa, y mientras navegaba por el menú tomé un buen cóctel del bar. Con la comida me tomé media botella de una pinot gris italiana. El primer plato fue sashimi de salmón con un aderezo de ruibarbo, puntos de crema fresca y nueces de pistacho crujientes. Muy delicioso y un buen comienzo. Mi plato fuerte fue un generoso trozo de bacalao, cocinado a la perfección; esta es una cocina realmente sólida. El postre era una barra de maracuyá con mango y helado de chocolate blanco, refrescante, ligero y dulce. Por último el expreso servido con dos trufas de chocolate. La Trompette ofrece una cocina muy buena y precisa y a precios muy decentes. Muy recomendable.
