This place is conveniently located, but expensive (you have to pay £6.50 for 60 golfballs + £5 for 30 minutes of trackman use (you probably wont get through 60 balls in 30mins so you’ll have to pay another £5!)) The putting green is always closed and there is nowhere to practice putting. Real shame as it has a lot of potential.

Great staff and very helpful, the golf range is fitted out well, and the mats are always in good condition. Top tracer now installed on half the bays. Place to get tea and coffee as well

Visited here for golf so can't comment on the other facilities. The golf is a 9 hole par 3 course, it's a good layout and not boring with undulating greens and water hazards. As it's a par 3 it only takes around an hour to get round. The pro shop is well stocked and a round costs £15. The driving range has plenty of bays but as it's only 200 yds long not so good if you're a long hitter wanting to practise with a driver or woods. It's £7 for 66 balls. Overall it's a good challenge for all levels and I would happily play here again.

Decent clay courts, friendly staff.

Terrible customer service! My daughter did a tennis course, which she said was mostly only hitting balls and learning nothing while the teacher was playing on his phone, but this review is mainly about how terrible they are with their clients. I bought an Addidas skort from them and returned it the next day as it did not fit my daughter. The receptionist said he is not allowed to reimburse me and asked me to fill in a form with my bank details and said I will be reimbursed the same week on Friday. That did not happen so I called and emailed for about two weeks. Eventually after two weeks their Office Manager called Laeli Barbosa emailed me confirming it was done. Again next Monday nothing. I waited another week still nothing. Called and emailed again, eventually I manage to speak to Laeli and she says she was on holiday and by mistake it was not actioned when she said it was, but it will be actioned that Friday and she confirms it was actioned again that Friday. Next week again nothing. Already one month and lots of energy lost on calls and emails, I’ve sent a formal complaint via email and asked for a reply from a manager. The receptionist calls me back and says they tried to reimburse me but the payment bounces back. Clearly they were incapable to read the form, and they did not try to even make the payment all that month! I’ve sent the bank details again via email and they confirmed it will be done that Friday. Surprise! No reimbursement done and no reply or call from any manager. Shame on you! I am very unclear how such incompetent staff can be paid!!! The next step is to report them to the local Ombudsman as I have waisted enough time liaising with them. Be mindful if you ever deal with this company, you will never get you money back!

Great, but difficult public 9 hole course. Unfortunately the staff disinterupt me on the 1st tee but shouting at me half through the swing. This can easily set off a bad round of golf. I recommend next time to let a person swing and then say. Apart from this a this non friendly experience, every enjoyable experience. Easy dress code too: only golf shoes required.

I recently booked what was advertised as an outdoor clay tennis court, expecting a genuine clay experience, but unfortunately, the reality was far from it. Upon arrival, it became immediately apparent that the court was not actual clay but rather a red astro surface, which had been poorly maintained and covered with beach sand. This led to an incredibly slippery playing environment, which not only made it difficult to move around safely but also significantly impacted the gameplay. The ball wouldn't bounce properly, making rallies frustrating and unenjoyable. This misleading description was disappointing, especially for someone looking forward to the unique feel of playing on a real clay court. It's clear that the facility's management needs to address this issue and provide accurate information to avoid misleading potential customers. Until these courts are properly maintained and correctly described, I would caution other tennis players who are expecting a true clay court experience.

Absolute shambles from start to finish! All the young staff in the pro shop are very nice and helpful as is the lad at the start of the course. However Alan in the pro shop, the old man, is a very rude angry little man. Despite being on minimum wage he seems to think he’s the king in the castle when speaking to me ( a customer.) In addition he’s completely careless, not even checking that my group had paid our booking fee in full and going onto charge me an extra £15. Get him gone get more of the young bloods in, they know how to treat customers unlike this loser has-been. I would be mad too if it at 60 I had the same job as gap year students.

Highly recommended. V v good ambience. Booking is essential. 9 holes par 3 golf course. Take 6,7 , 8 irons, pitching wedges, sand wedge, and a putter. £10 per person + £5 if you need to rent a basic set. Take small tees and at least 4 balls per head. Track suits are not allowed. Check the dress code. Golf shoes or trainers is reqd. footwear. Non playing walk along guests not allowed. But you can pay the £10 green fees and carry a small golf bag available at the pro shop. There is a 200 yds practice range with computer touch screens giving your shot analysis. Nice club house dining and drinks plus outside seating.

I come from a family of very keen golfers and I have been to the driving range many times with friends and family and eaten in the restaurant and the experience has been great. Unfortunately we all stopped going last year and haven't been back since as we didn't enjoy our experience playing tennis. My children are very keen tennis players and we booked and payed for a court on several occasions. Each time we played there was a different coach with a student on our court, and they looked at us in annoyance when we told them we had reserved. They simply told us to use another court, as they has hundreds of their balls all over the place, when we moved people turned up as they had booked too, so we ended up moving from court to court. If they can treat an adult like this then I am not letting my children go there to be treated the same. We have found somewhere else, and I tell people not to bother playing tennis there unless they want to be treated like a second rate citizen.

Was my first time at Duke Meadows today, I will start with positive. Looked like great tennis courts, the ski slope looked fun and a nice little course. I came to use the driving range and it was ok, there is not much you can do wrong building a driving range. I liked the facility. However, the staff… Staff in pro shop were rude, unhelpful and seamed untrained and basically just not interested. As a disabled person it’s nice to get some information around the facility but didn’t even receive a welcome. Then there was the golf pro who was rude on the range. I enjoyed hitting some balls but probably won’t ever return as the whole experience was ruined by the staff I encountered. Outside London this place would struggle. Tip: invest more in the staff, and more staff training on how to welcome people so the feel welcome.

Friendly staff and well kept facilities. Skiing, golf, tennis (indoors and out), good cafe, and a car wash in the car park! Pricey but well stocked sportswear shop.

Great place for golf, easy to park the car

Ok driving range. Rate 1* as its apparently too much to ask to have scrambled egg at 12.15 when breakfast stops at 12. There is literally no one in the restaurant, so the chef is clearly “too lazy” to do what someone here is paying him to do. I think if you run a restaurant and you’re in the service industry then service isn’t too much to expect - someone should perhaps remind the chef of that.

Been coming here for years now. Tennis construction is impacting the golf at the moment and the greenkeeper team seem to want to emulate PGA type roughs about a foot off the green. If it's a strategy i'm not sure i'm a massive fan for a pitch and putt. And if not then please go back to the well kept course of the past. Almost unplayable at times.

The range is quite outdated v modern facilities. The course is a bit poorly managed but fun. Staff all v nice. Food good in clubhouse.

Inclusive golf driving range and 9 hole golf course. Tuition. Bar with views over lake & casual food eg pizzas. Also a dry ski slope & tennis courts plus car park.

In this covid pandemic, as there is not much to do, we went to Dukes meadows with proper protection. The place has a children park, eating area and huge open grounds. Nice and peaceful however due to covid the public toilet is not open.

Got what you need if you want to hit a few balls

Great facilities, badly run... eg the website registration is poor... also when you go to golf booking online it takes you to the tennis court booking page...wastes time...in the past I have also had issues booking a tennis coach and a court...never available at the same time unless you get lucky...some great facilities and staff but just needs proper management...

I walk through it almost every day and it is always enjoyable to have contact with nature.

An excellent ski carpet, high prices however. Made good progress and instructors are nice. Lots of parking.

Amazing sporting centre for all ages.

I have been at this place for a business meeting. Must say I was so surprise to see everything under one roof. They have golf, tennis and ski courts. In house physiotherapist, gym and personal trainer at your aid. Restaurant, cafe and shops are amazing for some quick grab. Must visit for recreational activities

Only visited to have a nose, and to see the Taskmaster house! Haha. But upon seeing the facilities here I am already looking to sort out a round of golf here later in the year!!

Fantastic place for pay as you go golf with on in site golf shop. Lovely restaurant and cafe. They also have tennis facilities. They also have a small indoor skiing machine (if you want to prep for the skiing season). Plenty of car park space. Good toilet facilities.

What a great place with great coaches for both tennis and golf. The bar/ cafe team so lovely also.

We had a good long walk through the meadows

Can only describe the football pitches here as this is where the team I play for play our home games. Great facilities and changing rooms with a bar on site. Pitches well maintained. Nice to walk along the river too when the rowers are practicing.

The range is way too busy, went this morning and every bay had someone waiting behind it. I had to get a refund and I've just watched two people do exactly the same. Avoid on weekend mornings in term time.

I do not wish to write a negative review publicly, but this tennis centre keeps eating away at customers’ goodwill and I felt it needs to be addressed. I have used the centre a few times a week for years, but endless admin problems have made it impossible to continue playing there; the issues involved continuous booking/arrangement errors, appalling office communication, and poor court etiquette. What makes them even more outrageous is the arrogant nature of the management staff there. I tried and spoke to them on many occasions. However, for instance, the office manager is always too busy to look into the issues closely. The tennis director told me that he only gives service to his chosen customers – one needs to be valuable enough. The general manager told me not to use the centre if I pointed out the mistakes made by the tennis section. I feel It is essential for them to correct their unhealthy attitude. They even lost my racquet when I left it (and pre-paid) for restringing, and then cynically dragged their heels over compensation for more than a month. Their coaching business was most damaging there. I understand money matters to them, but customers are not just a source of money but human-beings, and a balance between the business-side and the education-side is essential. I was terribly troubled by their extreme disorganisation and egotism. It was not only the waste of time and money, but the ruin of joy and passion in tennis, leaving only trauma from the experiences there. They have great tennis facilities, and the centre could be a good asset for the community as well as for its own people, if only it was run properly.

Me gusta Dukes Meadows pero me amuses en que, según los estándares irlandeses es un pitch and putt glorificado pero tiene pros golf, campo de prácticas, un magnífico bar y restaurante y una gran variedad de instalaciones deportivas, tales como tenis en arcilla y canchas cubiertas.Todavía blanche ver jugadores regularmente ir por el campo de golf dukes meadows con palos en sus bolsas de 10-14 buscando extremadamente serio cuando de hecho todo lo que necesitas es una plancha, un 7 9 plancha y un putter. Quizás también una cuña de arena hay un montón de bunkers. Simplemente no entiendo, pero si teníamos en Irlanda nadie sin jugar. Para ser sinceros el futuro campo de golf de 3 hoyos par-9 agradable, una hora y 20 minutos, un buen almuerzo en el sol cerca del 9 verde y su tío Bob's! Buen personal que dan gratis de clubes para cset 16.Un poco en serio, aunque para par 3! Ideal para adolescentes o ancianos. Almuerzo a un precio razonable en un oasis de calma. Buena pintas y grandes y buenas copas de vino servido en el bar.

Duques Meadows es más conocido por el golf y tenis zonas de los jardines, sin embargo, cuando llegue allí hay un café que es "perros" (de visita obligada cuando a lo largo del río Thames en un domingo por la tarde). Hay una buena variedad de comida en el menú, con opciones saludables y una hamburguesa gourmet. Probé el diario 'curry' especial, y los tamaños de las porciones son bastante generosas en comparación con algunos de los cafés locales en la zona.Es un buen lugar para descansar y todo el mundo parecía muy amable.
