Worst restaurant ever .the menu is very confusing and the service staff has no knowledge about the menu .. when asked about certain dishes they have no idea whatsoever. The staff can't even speak proper English..
For them it doesn't matter if you eat there or no .the price of dishes are very high .. not worth for what you get ..
Don't bother to go there .. find some other better place ..
Very nice park setting - no benches near the coffee. The coffee is pleasant but not as pungent as other speciality coffee places. The staff are very miserable and it was very off putting, no smile and no warmth to the service at all.
Only problem was cold beers were delivered in the same bag as the hot food, resulting in warm beer, and just about warm food☹️ Disappointing as I’ve ordered from here many times and always left glowing reviews. Perhaps the guys on shift tonight though putting cold beers & hot food in the same non-insulated paper bag was ok🤷♂️
I did love this place, used to go twice a year after the football. Unfortunately food not great. Before plenty of gluten free option now follow the allergen sheet.

If you’re not South Asian, don’t bother—this place clearly doesn’t want you there. Update: and if you don’t want food poisoning either, don’t go, 2/7 of the people who ate here have food poisoning currently.
We came for an Eid dinner, expecting a nice meal, but instead, we got rushed, ignored, and borderline thrown out. The disrespect started early: they had the nerve to ask if they could take one of our tables away after seating us. We agreed, assuming they needed the space, but guess what? That table sat empty the entire time we were there.
From the moment we sat down, they were in a hurry to get rid of us. Starters and mains dumped on the table at the same time—without us asking. Then, mid-conversation and mid-bite, the waitress started clearing plates without asking. I looked away for a second, and suddenly, two of our curries had *vanished*. Who does that?! And THEN, the absolute worst part—she had the audacity to ask my family member if she could take her plate (while she was still eating). That’s when it clicked: this wasn’t bad service; this was a deliberate effort to kick us out for another group.
The whole experience lasted 50 minutes from order to payment. Fifty. Whole. Minutes. For an Eid dinner. The staff at the door were openly hostile, glaring at us while we explained what happened to Farid. Oh, and before you think this was just "quick service," let me make one thing clear—they never even offered us dessert. They just threw the bill on the table like we were overstaying our welcome.
What really confirmed the discrimination? A South Asian family at the back of the restaurant, three long tables, finished with their food and dessert, just casually chatting—completely unbothered. Meanwhile, my table got a 50-minute countdown before being pushed out the door.
And for what? *Mid* food. Spicy but flavorless—an insult to Pakistani cuisine. The drinks were disgusting. Only thing worth eating was the lamb karahi. Save your money and go somewhere that actually wants you there, because I didn’t feel welcome. I felt like an inconvenience.
A great find for sure. The cook is Toni who is from Nairobi, Kenya. The place is two separate business's. The bar and restaurant are owned by two different owners so you have to pay separately.
The bar staff are excellent and always ready to serve. Very large selection of drinks so easy to satisfy most people.
The restaurant orders are taken to the left of the bar. The food selection is excellent and the food itself is very good. If I'm honest, the seekh kebabs could do with a bit of work. The staff serving the food are OK. They are not proficient in English so struggle to understand orders. But you can muddle through so no big deal.
Overall, a very good place to visit for a great meal and drinks.
FYI: Going again for sure.
