Shere Khan Feltham in Hounslow

If you’re not South Asian, don’t bother—this place clearly doesn’t want you there. Update: and if you don’t want food poisoning either, don’t go, 2/7 of the people who ate here have food poisoning currently. We came for an Eid dinner, expecting a nice meal, but instead, we got rushed, ignored, and borderline thrown out. The disrespect started early: they had the nerve to ask if they could take one of our tables away after seating us. We agreed, assuming they needed the space, but guess what? That table sat empty the entire time we were there. From the moment we sat down, they were in a hurry to get rid of us. Starters and mains dumped on the table at the same time—without us asking. Then, mid-conversation and mid-bite, the waitress started clearing plates without asking. I looked away for a second, and suddenly, two of our curries had *vanished*. Who does that?! And THEN, the absolute worst part—she had the audacity to ask my family member if she could take her plate (while she was still eating). That’s when it clicked: this wasn’t bad service; this was a deliberate effort to kick us out for another group. The whole experience lasted 50 minutes from order to payment. Fifty. Whole. Minutes. For an Eid dinner. The staff at the door were openly hostile, glaring at us while we explained what happened to Farid. Oh, and before you think this was just "quick service," let me make one thing clear—they never even offered us dessert. They just threw the bill on the table like we were overstaying our welcome. What really confirmed the discrimination? A South Asian family at the back of the restaurant, three long tables, finished with their food and dessert, just casually chatting—completely unbothered. Meanwhile, my table got a 50-minute countdown before being pushed out the door. And for what? *Mid* food. Spicy but flavorless—an insult to Pakistani cuisine. The drinks were disgusting. Only thing worth eating was the lamb karahi. Save your money and go somewhere that actually wants you there, because I didn’t feel welcome. I felt like an inconvenience.

This is called a “Sher Khan special combo”, when it should be called a “Sher Khan special rip off”. £25 for this mini plate of grilled starters served with cheap hard chewy mutton chops. Mains were great, and they had a prayer room too, but just don’t get the Sher Khan Special combo unless you got no better things to spend your money on. Management had appalling customer service too, we came in as a big group and spent over £200, but he couldn’t care less, we were treated as another number walking through the door.

We had a first and worst experience on this Eid day, food quality was too bad, nothing was fresh, even the naan was not worthy of eating, I will never go to this place again. NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

Me and my family of 7 went out to this Pakistani restaurant for an Eid dinner expecting the best quality then at first they wanted to split out table and take a table of to put it a side to make a Separated table of 4 for whoever and no one even used it for the whole time we was there! That’s unacceptable we were very rushed as well we got out starters and mains dumped on our table at the same time and if that wasn’t bad they got a part of the order wrong we asked for 4 original coca colas and 1 Diet Coke and we got 5 diet cokes egen though we was extremely specific and they even wrote it down so I believe that was deliberate. What angered me a lot was the fact they took out food mid eating we had a curry which had a fair amount of curry left in it and they just took it away from us and they was cleaning our table when we was literately eating THIS IS BLATANTLY UNACCEPTABLE and they tried taking my family members food when it was full what kind of restaurant is this this behaviour is very discriminatory as they didn’t even offer us desert and we saw other tables enjoying and having nice service and eating desert?! We didn’t even spend a full hour in the restaurant this was not worth our money for this and the atmosphere I could see workers running around to take our food in specific and when they had it they was being very quick with it this experience was TERRIBLE I don’t recommend this to go to this restaurant it was very discriminatory but to there people they let them enjoy offered dessert didn’t rush them at all for us it was like they wanted us out immediately please don’t go to this restaurant the service is disgusting!

We went here to have dinner with our family, the atmosphere and food was lovely but the service was not so great . They tend to forgot a lot of things like cutlery when they serve food. Even though they serve main course first and then they serve starters . And even when we ask them to make the main course warm they only warm the chicken not the nan but that's okay . After that they didn't collect the starter plate and when we said to clear th starter plate and give us the main course plates but then they forgot the cutlery 🍴. Overall nice atmosphere and decoration.

We had a reservation for 43 people, yet upon arrival, we were blatantly turned away. This restaurant seems to prefer hoarding customers at the door like cattle, only to deal with them at their convenience. Disgraceful service. Avoid this place at all costs — they left 43 people stranded, hungry, and utterly disappointed.

First time i visited the restaurant and was amazed with the service and the taste of food. Delicious! Only downside is it is little pricey given the quantity they serve but still deserve all stars as they give you great ambiance and service.

Came here for Eid. Love the food. Good variety. Kids lived their nan bread and lamb chops. Service is very friendly and helpful. They want you to have a good time.

I eat at a lot of well-known Pakistani restaurants, and I can honestly say this is one of the best. The food was delicious, the portions were good, and the staff was very friendly. Their lamb biryani and all types of kebabs are unbeatable. No more overpriced and overrated restaurants on Southall Broadway for me! I highly recommend this place 100%

We made a last minute reservation & Kiara was super helpful. We were celebrating our Mum's big Birthday and we couldn't be more happy. Especially during Ramadan, the entire staff and service was good. Thank you Nikhil for attending our table with so much politeness and care.

We visited February time, as a family of 5, absolutely 💯 was the fine dining experience, food was delicious piping hot drinks the cocktails we had were awsome, absolutely smashed it. Service was excellent.

Had Iftar with a group of friends- great service and delicious food. All served hot and was given complimentary samosa and fruit to break our fast.

My husband I had iftaar here today and it was fantastic. The food was incredibly delicious, all the meat was so tender and juicy- truly 10/10! Staff were super helpful and attentive, truly a big shoutout to them all. We had the Aloo paratha, balti, jalfrezi and the mixed kebabs platter. Never have I eaten such a fantastic meal. Will definitely be returning Also everyone should try the peanut butter cake...wow

The best Go To place for a good relax evening, no hussle bussle to get there. Easy parking, nice calm atmosphere. Staff are 100% friendly and food may be on the spicy side but that said it depends on your order. IceCream is excellent by MovenPick and the Iconic Garlic NaN of ShereKhan is unbeatable. A must for every visit.

Very nice restaurant I would go again

I ordered samosa chaat and aloo paratha. While Aloo paratha was delicious, samosa chaat was horrible. There was oil on the chaat and pomegranate were drenched in the oil. It looked and tasted like channa curry. Very disappointed. I have taken a picture but there is no option to upload it. Not recommended at all.

Let me start by saying this restaurant has the potential to be absolutely stellar, Literally Interstellar, Just Like Copper SAID to Tars in the film , " NO, IT'S NECESSARY" but there’s one little hiccup—I specifically asked for chutneys with my £20 order, and sadly, they were nowhere to be found. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference! That said, I have to give a massive shoutout to the delivery driver, who was the epitome of politeness and professionalism. Truly top-notch service there. Now, let’s talk about the FOOD. Oh. My. Days. Where do I even begin? It was nothing short of phenomenal—pure culinary magic! The Keema Naan? Hands down the BEST I’ve ever had. Flaky, flavorful, and utterly divine. And the Chicken Achari Salaan? Wow. Just wow. It transported me straight back to the 80s, tasting like something straight out of momma’s kitchen—rich, aromatic, and packed with love. As for the Pilau Rice? Chef, take a bow. First of all I wish the restaurant would read the order I asked for chutneys on a £20 pound order and they sent no chutney. Having said that the delivery driver was very polite and professional which was brilliant. NOW THE FOOD well what can I say it was ❤️ beautiful and delicious fam. The Keema Nan is the best I have ever had and the chicken Achari salaan wow just like momma used to make it back in the 80s, fresh & tasty. The pilau rice ,well kudos 2 the the chef absolutely brilliant my G😎💯❤️😊😊

Turned up on the day as a walk in Asked if the had seating available for 20 people. They were so accommodating even though they had several bookings already. They managed to get us in. The service was brilliant the food is amazing my favourite was the Coconut and lime lassi(game changer). This is such a great place I will definitely re visit in the future. Highly recommend you try this place.

The first impression was, "Wow, this place looks nice." As soon as I sat down i quickly called the waiter over to ask if we could be moved as I felt the ceiling air unit was throwing out cold air on to us however after moving seats, i noticed everyone sitting down was wearing their winter jackets whilst eating. I soon realised why. The restaurant was freezing cold. I was about to walk out, but I thought let me tell the waiter and see if they tried to resolve the issue first. They quickly brought out some gas heaters and placed one directly next to me, so it made a difference, which is why I stayed. However, a freezing cold restaurant is not acceptable. Anyways, on to the service. Order was taken when I asked if I could order. Food was brought out in drips and drabs and had to first ask where our rice was, and then the nan as they forgot to bring these out. On to the food. This was where this restaurant redeemed itself, and I was glad I did not walk out despite having to eat with my big thick jacket on. The food was 10 out 10. Everything we ordered was nice, especially the mixed grill, the chicken Korma which we ordered because of younger daughter not being able to handle too much spice and waiter recommended us this was suitable for kids. The samosa chat was also very tasty. Overall this place sells very nice food. Winter time they need to make sure place has adequate heating. Price was reasonable considering flavour of the food. I will definitely come again.

The presentation of the food is definitely beautiful and the service is generally quite good. They do tend to forget things a lot, the small things like cutlery, but it is okay. However, the freshness could be improved - that was something we noticed for all dishes. The desserts were delicious! The restaurant interior looks absolutely stunning. It is great that they have a prayer room, ma sha Allah. However, the music is terribly loud. Overall, our time here was lovely still! Alhamdhulillah.

Today I had dinner at sherekhan’s restaurant, Food and ambiance was very good. Specially Sherekhan special combo was very tasty. Main dishes are also was very delicious. Staff specially management of the restaurant was very professional.

Had a family celebration dinner recently. Overall good experience, food is excellent. Only a bit improvement in temperature control (warm in all areas - specifically in winter and that too when outside it was -5). Nice staff but asking for cutlery was not expected..! Your menu colours a ok, but font is too small to read..! Minor things and you would be spot on..!

Awful taste. Butter chicken was pretty much liquid fluid, no flavour and cheap chicken cooked. And over priced £15.50. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for flavoury butter chicken with spice. Never buying anything from this restaurant ever again.

Really really disappointed with the service and portion size of what I just purchased. Firstly, the butter chicken took over 25 mins to prepare but I'm totally happy to wait as I'd expect the meal to be prepared well, however the end product was far from satisfying. There were 3 medium sized pieces of chicken and 2 small but it seemed like that they didn't only run out of chicken but the sauce too. See attached picture of the tub and it's just about half the tub or perhaps a tad bit over. Furthermore, one of my starters was missing from the bag and it was only upon raising, it was corrected. I've driven far from Shere Khans restaurant but this behavior of staff or management totally frustrates me. Please don't cut corners if you're cutting back on portion sizes perhaps buy the appropriate containers so you don't disappoint patrons. 31st Dec 2024: Went back today after a long time and the food and service was on point. The host was so good too. 10/10

We had dinner here for my husband's birthday and the food was delicious! We were helped by Mr. Ali Reza, he fulfilled all our wishes. His service was more than excellent, we felt completely welcome! The location was also very beautiful. We indicated that we did not want the food to be too spicy for our son and that was arranged. Ali Reza advised us to order “Korma” for our son because it was very tasty, sweet and not spicy. Our son liked it so much that he wanted to come back. We came back for a second time and were in a hurry, we had to catch our boat and go back home. We indicated that we were in a hurry and the food was there within 5 minutes, but this time the food was a bit too spicy for our son. We indicated this and within a few minutes we received a new one, without pepper. It was so delicious, we took the leftover food with us. If we come back to London, we would 100% come back here to eat! Dear Ali and all other employees, thank you for your good and kind service and see you next time! We recommend everyone to eat here. 🤍

Great place and good quality food. There’s room for improvement with staff friendliness and atmosphere. Maybe try dimming the lights or adding some background music? Also, need to absorb the noise with more soft surfaces. Food was nice, but having some fresh sides to accompany the flavor packed dishes. Staff at the end was really lovely, but it started on a rather rude approach and it took some time for them to warm up.

5 STARS!! I just had the most amazing experience at Shere Khan in Feltham! The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, the food the flavours and spices were amazing; it’s definitely worth every penny! Including the desser it was delicious but what truly stood out was the service. Salman, who served us today, was exceptional—kind, respectful, and incredibly efficient. He ensured all our queries were answered and made sure our orders were perfect.😊 Salman even brought out a cake with a candle for my brother’s birthday—it was such a thoughtful gesture! The other waiters were equally fantastic, cracking jokes and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere that made the entire experience even more memorable. Great restaurant with a nice selection of food. The service and the atmosphere are impeccable,management and the staff are doing above and beyond to please the customers and to offer great service. We've held our Xmas party dinner in there and every person was impressed. 100% recommend for an event or for a nice place to have dinner.

The special Lamb chops and fresh butter naan are amazing and that's literally it! BUT Worst main dishes I have ever tasted do not waste your time. The mixed grill kebabs are horrible taste like they came out the freezer. The fried fish is tasteless The rest of the mixed grill was good. Special chops 10/10 Chaat 8/10 Mixed grill 4/10 Kebabs chicken & lamb 1/10 Fried fish 1/10 Chicken biriyani 2/10 Lamb biriyani 2/10 Butter chicken 1/10 more like tomato chicken! Lamb karahi 1/10 Chicken karahi 1/10 Honestly I cannot express how bad the food is here and I also do not understand why people eat it! I'm baffled! I'm guessing people come here once and don't come back again or only come back for the mixed grill apart from the kebabs and fried fish the mixed grill was good. Look the atmosphere is alright and all but if your looking for atmosphere go sit by the river at sundown with a KFC. If you go somehwere to eat you go to eat! Couldn't care less about the atmosphere. Service is great can't knock that. Would I recommend this place? Yes I would BUT only for the special lamb chops and fresh butter naan. That is it! If your reading this Shere Khan Feltham Then sort your food out. Put some more effort in. Don't use the same sauce for everything. Use better quality or more fresh meats. Send your Chefs on some taste courses because there obviously have issues in that department. Use butter in butter chicken come on... its not that expensive...

To be honest my first review I deleted it as it was a bit on a negative side but I thought I would give these guys one more chance and try the restaurant out again. And I'm so glad I did hence the high star rating, yesterday 4 of us went to this restaurant and what an absolute turnaround the service was impeccable, food very good quality and all the spices really tasty. When we went to the restaurant it was absolutely packed and I was was thinking that the service would be probably slow but no our waitress was absolute 10 out of 10 everything arrived on time and anything we needed she was there for us and also a big credit to the management team who greeted us at the door with a very warm smile and made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant 10 out of 10

The ambience and decor of the restaurant is nice and pleasing along with the food and service. The portion sizes of the main dishes such as the curries are generous. The 2 downsides of our recent visit; a group member asked for sliced onion as a single salad item, we got charged £3:45 for that. During the meal we ordered many naans but the the last one was so hard and crispy instead of being soft and fluffy. Will pay more attention to these things next time

Had a good experience celebrating a birthday. The food we had was well flavoured and spiced. The deco was contemporary and well designed. Our service was with Silman and he was very helpful and attentive. Will revisit again.

Nice Pakistani restaurant in Feltham, restaurant has modern and stylish design, it is very spacious. The food was tasty, prices are reasonable. Parking is free outside of the restaurant.

Came here the first time with my sister and parents and loved it! 10/10 service from Adeel was very good and filling! The vibe and atmosphere was very nice! Will definitely visit again!
