Impeccable service, room a little cool... The dishes are excellent.

I went to this beautiful family run restaurant with my daughter for lunch. The food was incredible delicious and tasty. We ordered mussels for starters they were big and very fresh. Portion was very generous. My daughter ordered seafood linguine and I ordered pizza. Price compere to other restaurants was very good. I had an amazing experience.

Great friendly service, and fantastic atmosphere and decoration. The pasta dish was tasty, if a little too soft and small for my liking. I liked the mushy beans starter, though.

Food was very good although quite small portions for the price.. service excellent especially as the resturant was very busy and there seemed to be only one waiter on staff, he was great.. tiny little restaurant so not much elbow room when others are seated nearby but overall a good experience.

As an Italian, I was excited to try this restaurant, as the menu looked very promising with its authentic ingredient choices. The presentation of each dish was appealing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting—perfect for a cozy meal. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. However, while the dishes had potential, the flavors were overall a bit average, and unfortunately, the pasta in one of the dishes was slightly undercooked (not quite al dente). Still, with a few adjustments, this place could really shine as a spot for authentic Italian dining.

Service here is VERY friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately wait times are too long as it took me nearly an hour to get my food on a Wednesday afternoon. Food portions are quite small and overall nothing spectacular in my opinion but it might be just what I ordered!

My second visit & the food was tremendous on both occasions: and I mean really good. A local, non-chain/franchise restaurant, of which there were many when I first moved to Chiswick in 1984 but, alas, no more; unsurprisingly it has first-rate word of mouth locally and was full both times I went there. Delicious Italian food, thank you!

Truly outstanding in every aspect. Very warm and cosy restaurant. Staff have a personal touch, I felt like a lifelong regular on my first visit. A true gem in London!

This has become our weekly treat after Saturday football. My kids love it - the service is great and it’s just simple, unpretentious, good food served in a welcoming family atmosphere. Admittedly, we order the same thing every week - but if it ain’t broke… Best Limoncello Spritz by the way…

Had a very nice time with my friends, the place is really cozy and it has authentic Italian touch to it. You can see the pizza being made while sitting at the table. It feels like you’re eating at home not in a restaurant. We ordered Caprese from the veg option and their special 2-kilos tiramisu bowl is a must for the desert if you’re going in a group but you will need to pre-order it so they can prepare and have it ready.

After 2 years of looking and checking Italian restaurants in London, I finally found it. It was a great pleasure to be in this restaurant. Place itself is very tiny but has an amazing atmosphere. Stuff is very friendly and open for people. Mark, which I believe is an owner constantly checking if everything is good and if guests are happy. Also, he chatted and joked with a guest, treating them more like best friends. They are very happy for honest feedback face to face because they are open to improvement. Menu isn't like everywhere and is more Italian based on home recipe what make this place even more unique. I definitely come back there for amazing tiramisu.

Outstanding on all counts, brilliant, helpful attentive staff who are dedicated to ensuring your enjoyment of the evening. Lovely family atmosphere so different to run of the mill chain restaurants. Starters, pasta, main courses with salad and dessert all of the highest standard. A real winner for my 67th birthday.

Service was exceptional, but the food was pretty subpar: very heavy and carby. My wife ordered the lasagne and wasn't impressed. I ordered the pizza and it was fine. It's not too expensive, but I feel you can find better Italian food elsewhere.

Probably one the best Italian restaurants in London. Definitely the best in Chiswick. I come here once a month at least.

Came in yesterday after planning to for a while and was blown away. Can't say enough nice things. Pasta was some of the best i've ever had honestly. The pizza dough is also insanely good. Owner was working super hard. Hope you guys stay open for a really long time. I can't remember the last time I had this good food for such decent prices. Thanks alot guys, will see you soon.

I want to share just my personal opinion since I usually check reviews before trying a new restaurant. Please note that taste are different, so what it’s good for me might not be for someone else. In this case, I didn’t enjoy the food at all. I am Italian and perhaps my quality standards are different, especially if I go to an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was instead nice and the service too.

Bought their “famous” tiramisu. They advertised as a 2kg portion for dine in. We asked for the same as a take away in smaller portions. They said they can do it with vodka. We also called a day before collection to confirm and the woman said, yes they know its with Vodka. After taking it all the way to Sheffield, due to some gimmicky reel on instagram we opened and tasted only to realise it was plain no vodka and full of sugar. Absolute waste of money and moreover they charged us the same amount that they’ve mentioned is the price for the 2kg one. Utterly disappointed.

Great little restaurant, enjoyed sitting outside under the canopy during a thunderstorm. One of the best tiramisu I’ve tasted . Family run , will definitely return when next in the area

Good food, the carbonara is good compared to many other places I ate in London, almost perfect! The service and the atmosphere was great, I will definitely come back.

We were four for an early dinner and some drinks. Starters all delicious, mains too (especially carbonara). Service was the cherry on top - super engaged and funny owner who was serving us. Will definitely be going back, apparently their lunch menus are changing.

Very cute little hidden gem in Chiswick. The pizza is incredible, the octopus is very tasty and it’s simply the best pizza I’ve had since I was in Napoli. The mussels we ordered here was a small portion - more than expected and perfect to share.

A little gem of a place in the heart of Chiswick. Pizzas were fantastic- fresh, tasty, large! Staff very friendly. It’s packed tonight so we are sitting upstairs but still feeling the vibe! Highly recommend! Especially the tonne pizza and the calzone!

Lovely and welcoming, good food but tiny pasta portions. After being recommended the carbonara, disappointed to get a very small serving in the hollow of a dish. It was more like a starter. Please increase the portion size..

Loved it. Me and my partner stopped in for a late-ish dinner on saturday night. Sat outside on a nice warm evening. A couple of martinis, a very nicely cooked chicken dish with a few glasses of white wine and a shared tira misu to finish. Absolutely exactly what we were looking for. The owner and staff were very friendly as well. Very pleasant evening.

Really warm and friendly place with delicious food! The owners make you feel really welcome and honestly some of the best pastas I’ve ever had! (including in Italy) The crispiness of the pancetta in the carbonara was divine, it’s sauce perfection! The orecchiette was absolutely delicious, the perfect balance of freshness paired with the creamy ricotta on top. Overall everything was delicious, will definitely be coming back!

Parma pizza was good but not perfect. The dough was crunchy with a lot of semolina, there was a lot of olive oil at the top of the pizza. The Parma ham and cheese were there but the taste was not super prominent so I would probably prefer a little bit more filling. The staff was very friendly and the place is very cozy overall. I’ll be back to try something else

This is a hidden gem in Chiswick, the pizza and pasta dishes are amazing. We dined with our children and grandchildren, we were made to feel very welcome. This is a small restaurant where the service was very friendly and helpful, the food freshly prepared and served quickly. To be highly recommend 🥂🍻👍

We enjoyed delicious pizza and pasta last night. The staff were very welcoming, kind and accommodating. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The kitchen staff did a wonderful job. Thanks to Mark and the team for taking great care of us.

I went to La Tarantella last night for my 23rd birthday (8 people) - a very lovely restaurant with a really charming and authentic vibe. The food and wine was absolutely delicious (would definitely recommend the burrata!) and the service was incredible, all the staff were really smiley and pleasant even despite some late arrivals and orders on our end. They even brought out a complementary birthday dessert at the end which went down a treat with the table and was hugely appreciated! Totally recommend this place and I’ll definitely be heading back there next time I’m in Chiswick.

It's not often that I instantly fall in love with a restaurant, but this is one of them. Only a few stops from Richmond, it's close enough to us for very regular visits. This is no-nonesense, authentic Italian food. There's a lot of thought put into everything, and it shows. Prices are moderate, and the wine list is also well priced and comprehensive. There's something for everyone here. The service is very friendly and helpful. This could easily become a place we visit weekly.

Haven't been for a while but got a couple of pizza at lunch,takeaway. so so good, very tasty and well cooked pizza, friendley staff. will be back.

Beautiful little place tucked away just of the High Road

Had lunch there today. My first visit. Uncomfortable seating and mediocre food that needed seasoning desperately. It is reasonable but needs to be given the quality. Tomatoes on bruschetta were tasteless and some of my pasta undercooked. Not al dente. Hard. The server was pleasant and did not rush us but overall not great. Not coming back.

The perfect local! Relaxed, cosy extremely good value for money and always delicious antipasti and pasta dishes. Nice wine, too.

The best carbonara and pizza in town! My pasta was super fresh and the sauce was perfect, which can be hard to find eating out. Service was great too. Definitely worth a visit.

The prawn starter was perfect, the prawns were so tender and flavourful. The carbonara was fantastic, the lasagne was so rich and tasty and the pizza toppings were so fresh, you could taste every ingredient. To top it off, the cannoli dessert was deliciously sweet and crunchy. Will 100% be returning. The restaurant is small but cosy.

Ordered the petto ti pollo and it was seriously one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Served hot with mashed potato’s and some sort of outstanding mushroom type of sauce. Service was terrific as well, never had to look around for service. Portions are big man certified

This fabulous family run restaurant IS PROBABLY THE BEST ITALIAN restaurant in Chiswick. Hands down AND they are dog friendly. I can recommend them higher than any place in Chiswick

Just checked out Tarantella here, and they provide phenomenal Italian food. The vibe is cozy, and comforting. The menu is diverse and packed with flavour whether its pizza, pasta, seafood, desserts, they've done it all amazingly. Major props to Luciana and Mark for their awesome hospitality. They make you feel like you're very much welcome, and the food takes you back to Italy. If you're in London, don't sleep on this spot.

This is our favourite restaurant in Chiswick. The pizzas are the best I have ever had and in addition there are delicious traditional starters, pastas mains and puds. Mark and Luciana , who took over the restaurant earlier , this year are charming and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The food is really poor quality. The Risotto rice was hard and uncooked, and overall there was very little taste. The chicken dish came with potatoes which were raw/cold in the middle. The garlic pizza bread had almost no garlic on it. The dough was over stretched and appears to be cooked partially then finished off later when someone orders it meaning the dough was tough and chewy. The pizza had watery sauce with raw onions. The flavour was poor. Dishes with walnuts for example came with almost none present. The service was disappointing. No apology offered for bad food which had to be sent back. I would rank in the lower 5% of restaurants in chiswick. It is a shame considering the price paid for each dish.

Potentially good food cooked really badly. The 3 chilli garlic prawns had no chilli or garlic flavour, just a vinegar sauce?!? Chicken was served in the exact same vinegar sauce. Monk fish was ok, a bit over done with a burnt flavour. Very sub standard for the price. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Save your money for something better. And 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill.

Absolutely amazing and lovely place, the owners are so kind you really feel welcome in the restaurant. Everything we ordered was perfect, we all had pasta but I would come back to try the pizze as they looked divine. The tiramisu was the best of the desserts we try: one to order.

Four of us dined on a Sunday night. The food was mediocre. Starters of burrata and bresaola, liver pate all were sub-standard. My main of duck pasta was bland, meat pieces not soft enough whilst pasta was over cooked. The service was not particularly friendly. The guy seemed bothered that we were asking questions and asking for recommendation. We mentioned we wanted to share starters and they didn’t think of mentioning that the pate it only comes with one piece of bread. All in all, I could have eaten much better at home.

Amazing food! The starters were very delicious, the pizza was YUM and Mark was very friendly. The restaurant has a very sweet home like atmosphere just like many restaurants in Italy!

My husband and I tried Tarantella for the first time tonight! The atmosphere was so lovely, decorations beautiful, and food was so delicious! We tried the Burrata, pate, duck Ragu & funghi pizza! Marks presence and service made the night so much more enjoyable too

The restaurant was under new management and a new menu, I was very disappointed with the taste, The portion was smaller and the price increased, not worth visiting again, so sad we lost our favourite.

Lovely Italian great food, compact space!

Cosy restaurant with seating both upstairs and downstairs. High standard of customer service and delicious typical Italian food. Very popular so booking advised. The four of us enjoyed a leisurely three course meal with a couple of bottles of red. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. If you love Italian food then this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Amazing authentic Italian. Husband runs the restaurant and his wife is the chef. She’s from Puglia and the food is so delicious and authentic. Our highlights were the carbonara and tiramisu.

This is a wonderful, family run Italian restaurant. We've eaten there twice now, and can highly recommend the Lasagna, the Tonnarelli with pistachio pesto and lams, and the pizza. They also have an affordable wine list. It is a very small place, so reservations would be a good idea.

Awful value for money!! Terrible cold spaghetti with tasteless tomato sauce. Prawns in shells are watery and tasteless as well. A lot of the staff had really miserable snotty attitudes aside from a taller gentleman.

Went there for Saturday lunch after a long trek through London. The restaurant's ambience had a traditional Italian style. We felt very welcomed and the service was great. We ordered the burrata and garlic bread for starters and the Napolitano pizza as a main. The food was fresh and the taste was supreme. If I'm ever out in west London, I'm definitely stopping by here again.

Not a so great place. Food took ages to come, the veal with tuna sauce was nothing exceptional, sauce was not even enough to cover the dish. Pizza was ok. Not one of this places where I would come back

Stumbled in for lunch and had the set menu. It was lovely home cooked italian food, really delicious, and we had a great wine to go with it. They were also very welcoming to us and kind to our kid.

First time to visit. Food was ok, but not great. The veal in the vitello tonnato was pretty dry. The pizza had a thick base, which some people prefer, but not my favourite. The pastas on our neighbours table looked good. Maybe I'll try the pasta if we go back.
