The Bell on the Green in Hounslow

Went in today to watch football, walked in and a bloke obviously local was kicking his phone about screaming and swearing staff just looked at him. I stayed to watch the game but I like rough pubs but this was horrific, toilets were a disgrace no lock on door and toilet paper all over floor and this is a so called restaurant

Amazing atmosphere and food friendly staff

Terrible. No idea why they have decent reviews. I had to bin all of the food. Masala chips were stale as if half cooked and then mixed around in some spices and left to sit there for a day. Butter naan was stale. Final straw for me before it all went in the bin and I had to concede I'm £36 down, I saw a hair floating on top of the Chicken Korma. Judging by my delivery and other reviews, it is clear that The Bell on The Green does not care about quality and more importantly, food safety. I have reported to Uber Eats and FSA. Please avoid!

We ordered tandoori chicken and got tangdi kabab. We were told it was not wrong and we would not get a refund so i am very unhappy

Lamb kofta curry! This time the taste was totally different from what I had before and this was quite spicey like a madras! Have you changed your chef recently? Still ok but not as good as before 🤔

There was was old hard chicken pieces in the tandoori wrap. And the chip tastested bad did not eat much of them. The large mixed grill was ok though.

I recently hosted my daughter’s birthday at The Bell on the Green, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. We had a lovely private space for the evening, which made the celebration feel intimate and special. The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and provided outstanding service throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Everyone had a fantastic time, and I would highly recommend The Bell on the Green to anyone looking for a great venue for a special occasion.

from being told driver on way it took over 45 mins for my order to then arrive, I only live 15 minutes max from restaurant so when it arrived it was all cold, driver delivered to other locations before me.

Slightly disappointed with the place. The house grill was 100% sizzle, but unfortunately 0% taste -- in other words, a gimmick we fell for. Fish and chips was decent, but also rather tasteless. I recommend you visit Indian Palace 5 min away instead, if you want authentic, affordable and tasteful Indian

I ordered biryani, it was the worst one i have tasted in my life, no spices, sweet Raitha for biryani seriously? And the veg curry for the biryani it gave us the rotten smell how could I even eat it when I can't even smell it. Please don't sell biryani.

I found that place by accident. And still visit it regularly. My puppy loves playing in the garden. Staff is very friendly. Food is tasty, wine is great. Tried chilli calamari - amazing!

Delicious food every time we order!

my second order from here, this time was very disappointing. a dish that is supposed to be mild was very hot. a fried side that tastes like the oils not been changed in months, the flavour you come to know and love just not there and a vegetarian dish with hardly any vegetables. a real shame

Unfortunately felt a little let down tonight the food was extremely late even though time add already gone up so was over an hour late when it did arrive it was lukewarm and the kitchen had not taken any notice of the note left on the order tried phoning but they did not understand what I was saying but I did get a call back to apologise and asked if I wanted the problem sorted but it was a little late after all this normally I don’t have a problem with them but on a positive food tasted great

Amazing hot delicious food highly recommend

Party of 10-12. Server was a little annoyed it seemed. And misinformed us about a food order being non-dairy. So....one of our party members was sick the remaining of the eve after dinner. Other than the server not knowing how the food was prepped or what allergens it contained, the rest of the food was great! I'd definitely eat here again. But if you are allergic to anything or have intolerance, I recommend to stick with what you know.

Just purchased a takeaway from thos place, ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala with other things, the chicken tikka massala was basically tomatoes soup either chicken chunks, absolutely not a curry of any definition

The food is outstanding. The staff are friendly and the service amazing. The prices are also very reasonable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely brilliant.

If i could give the delivery rider a 10 star rating i would. He was absolutely wonderful and patient. Even though delivery was late, it was completely understandable. The restaurant was also very patient and kind in helping sort out any issues. The quality and portion was definitely worth the price

This isn't just a pub, it's a restaurant, with the quality of food far exceeding any expectations based on the premises. The pub is nice, well maintained and clean, and the staff are great -friendly and courteous. But the food... exceptional... I had a Madras fish curry with a Dahl and rice. The flavours were vibrant, the meal was delicious... perfectly cooked and memorable. I only came here because I fly out from Heathrow tomorrow, and it was a 20-minute walk from the Premier Inn at T4. The food was so good, I'm thinking of making a special trip with mates from 3 hours away. Still savouring the flavours 😁

First time ordering from here, I'm very pleased with everything, food, service ( called as the drink I ordered wasn't in stock, replacement better) price versus quality, best I've had, great value for such tasty food. Presentation, I have to mention this, as was also quite impressive. Will definitely be ordering again, they have set a high standard, so hopefully will be consistent.

Ordered a takeaway curry and pilau rice, onion bhaji and a chapati. Food was delicious and hot. Very polite delivery service too. Meal was delivered in a sturdy bag.

Unfortunately my husband and I were in England for just two days because we wished we could’ve stayed longer just to try everything on the menu. Literally the best Indian food we’ve ever had ! And my husband is Indian ! Ate there two days in row and it just wasn’t enough, we’re still raving about it. Must try if you are in the area. I hope to have a layover in Heathrow again just to eat here!

Incredible food! The pakoras were lovely, the jalfrezi amazing, manuchurian fab! Highlight was the cheesy nan! To.die.for! Royal not to my absolute liking, but overall the meal was fantastic!! Thoroughly enjjoyed it.

Food quality is deteriorated in last 1 year. I remember eating the best Indian food last year, it is just borderline average now.

The food wasn't to my taste, it was over spiced, dry and just not very pleasant. Will be sticking to my usual restaurant moving forward, serves me right for deviating.

Decided to go here as it was cheaper than the airport restaurants and was pleasantly surprised not just with the quality of the food but the size of the portions. The only downside is that the curries don't come with rice. Well worth visiting if you're staying at terminal 4 or nearby

Ordered delivery since we were exhausted from traveling and staying at airport hotel. Kids wanted Indian and spicy food. Special bogo offer with chicken biryani and chili chicken curry. And added naan and samosas. Order came fast and hot. Delicious and the right amt of spice. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic meal of 2 curries (chicken chef's special and a lamb balti) rice, poppadom and garlic naan. Curries were exceptional, great value for money, service was great.

food was very spicy and could not eat it because all we could taste was spice . Ashame really !

I have been travelling for the last month and tonight I am staying near Heathrow airport before flying out in the morning. Didn't fancy a bland hotel meal in a bland restaurant so decided to venture out. Actually not too far from Terminal 4 this gem served one of the best Indians I have had in a very long time. The two curries were delicious, tender meat and cooked to perfection, service was impeccable from the waitress to the bar staff I cannot fault.

The takeaway food was rubbish, especially for what it cost. If they served that to me in there restaurant it would have been sent back. I won't be using them again.

I ordered food today 16/7/2024 for my Mum as its her birthday.. I kindly asked in the notes if the driver could wish her a happy birthday. Upon delivery, he only went and, sang happy birthday🥹. What a beautiful thing to do ( I got to watch it all on my Mums ring doorbell 🤗☺️ ). it's the little things🙂. 11/10 food included 🙃

Very nice place, most of the dishes we ordered were great, very few we didn’t enjoy but that was just personal preference, but overall very good and would go back. I would suggest that when you serve any dish, you add a spoon for service.

The worst Indian food I ever had in the UK! The grilled items were worst, no Indian flavours at all. Biryani was also not good. I will never order from here in future.
