Nice friendly atmosphere. Love the beer garden. Staff was great, and one of the most friendliest pubs I've been to.

Local pub for the Brentford fans, but away more than welcome. Went here with Manchester United. Met some Brentford fans from South Africa had great crack. Pity about the result 1-1.

Had a brilliant and massive Sunday roast- delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly, would definitely recommend it!

Working in the area and noticed Good pubs are so hard to find around certain parts of London these days! This is a Great pub! Nice food! Good atmosphere! Don't change!

Sunday carvery is an absolute must

The carvery was fantastic, best in the area. Big screens for football and plenty of places to sit. Overall good atmosphere, friendly staff abs the carvery meats were so tasty and tender! Highly recommend a Sunday feast.

Thank you Alex and staff. We came by for St Patrick's day and enjoyed the Irish Stew. Fantastic band on (Murphys Duo) and Alex was a wonderful landlord ensuring all patrons were happy and well looked after. Bar staff excellent too. A great night out!

Lovely staff and delicious food. Bit quiet for a Friday night although that didn't get in our way of having a good time.

Great atmosphere, good pub, with an outside but where they did bbq for us. It was quite lovely and tasty, only downside for me is that the bar is opposite the entrance with a narrow corridor to the back of thr pub so when people queue up, it's really hard to get past them.

Even though tables were near enough fully booked, staff were very helpful in getting us a seat. Food was great too

We were looking for a pub to eat in the evening and have a drink. The food is really good, the atmosphere is nice, the service is great and we were very well received by the team, including one who speaks French! I recommend 100% with my eyes closed, and what's more, the fries are homemade :)

I have just had a Sunday roast at this amazing pub. I am so overwhelmed with the entire treatment I have received. The staff are welcoming and warm like your old friends, the food is better than cooking it yourself as you have a big variety for such a great price. The best experience I have had in a long time, I would definitely be going back when I’m in the area.

Met with friends for a Christmas get together. Such a lovely place, food was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. Definately going again.

Food took a while to arrive but there was a big Christmas party there too that took priority obviously. Fish and chips was decent portion not too greasy but for the price I think, was pretty average.

Brilliant Sunday Roast at the Globe! Family and dog friendly. Great selection and no skimping out on the portions, quality's TV's to watch the footie aswell.

I'm always apprehensive about a pub Sunday lunch as a vegetarian but this exceeded all expectations. Super accommodating staff, really friendly and welcoming and they really took care of our table consisting of fussy eaters and food allergies. I live hours away from this place but will be back without a doubt when I visit family in the area. The dogs are adorable too.

it's a shame the pub used to be good but most days it's very quiet only time it's busy is when Brentford play. The prices have also gone up £6.25 from £5.89 for a pint of beer. so only go once a week now.

First pub I have seen with hair straighteners in the ladies' ! Brentford still surprises me.

We visited here on Saturday pre-match. Lovely friendly, welcoming pub, good selection of drinks with a great atmosphere. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food, however the people next to us did and the food looked really good! Will definitely be visiting again.

Such a nice pub with friendly staff

Lovely local pub. Great atmosphere at various points in the day. It’s our local, so I normally come here for a pint after work, but I’ve been here to watch some football on the various screens, and sometimes they have the cricket on which is always a bonus. The staff are great and all very friendly and welcoming. On Sundays when it is busy, they will try and accommodate you for a seat if you’re just there for a drink or to watch the TV, but obviously it can get a bit busy for Sunday roast (reservations are advised!) The food is good, at the usual mid-price point for pubs outside Central London these days, but it comes out quickly, even when it’s busy. Never been in here on a match day when Brentford are playing at home, but there always seems to be a good atmosphere when walking past. The Guinness is always good here (9/10), but £6.05.

Hyggeligt sted. Desværre var det en forholdsvis lille portion prisen taget i betragtning. Vi måtte vente minimum 40 minutter på vores mad selvom de lovede hurtig servering. Som undskyldning fik vi en omgang på husets regning.

Very friendly staff, was greeted at the door and shown to a table. Lovely carvery and pint of pride. Very dog friendly as well! 10/10 would come again. Bosh

We were at a private party and to be fare the venue was perfect as was the food, there was a great selection of both hot and cold food items from sandwiches to chilli and rice.

First visit today, good quantity and quality carvery, very attentive staff.

We visited today because the carvery the advertised looked delicious unfortunately it wasn't. The beef was excellent the roast potatoes were hard, like bullets, I have no words to describe the Yorkshire pudding, the gravy was stone cold and didn't taste very nice. The pub/ restaurant was quiet busy, it was no noisy pretty much like a kindergarten! ( screaming kids)We have no issues with noise or people enjoying themselves (obviously it's a pub) you had to shout to hear each other. The most disgusting thing was the two families on the long table on the left as you enter the dining area, with children had a small dog with them the dog was sitting on the long seat the people fed the dog putting the food directly on the seat, the dog ate the food licking the seat clean when it finished, it made us feel sick! No fault of the pub but somebody unaware of this may have nice clean smart clothes on will sit on a dirty unhygienic seat. No issues with pets being in pubs as long as they're under control having them on the furniture is a no no especially when they eat off on the seat. As well a hygiene issue some people have allergies unknowing what has happened before. Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend the globe nor return, considering the money we paid it was ott. There are many pubs in the area where the Sunday lunches that are better quality and competitively priced. We had intended staying in the pub to watch the football but due to the noise & we were uncomfortable our friends who were going to join us for the game decided not too we went home.

Popped in to see an old friend at The Globe along with a couple of friends for a quick drink. Nice atmosphere great staff and we decided to order bar snacks these turned out to be excellent and decent size portions piping hot. Definitely a drinking establishment we will be returning to in the near future. Give The Globe a try if you’re in the area..

So as usual the globe and the team at MC Bars has not disappointed with the food, service and lovely pub. The Sunday Lunch was very tasty and it was lovely to see one of the team members come to our table and ask if we wanted any more veg etc. The pub is clearly dog friendly and they think nothing of cutting a bit of beef sirloin from the carvery to give to the dogs which I thought was lovely. On top of that they have lots of screens for sport etc and a really nice intimate garden with lots of seats. Overall a fantastic experience and well worth a visit. So an update !!! Sunday 9th July and have come back for another dinner and thought I would post a pic of it!! (The empty plate that is lol) consistently lovely food and great service.

Couldn't cope with the numbers of people waiting to get served before the Brentford match. In fairness, most of the staff were new but they obviously hadn't had enough training

The Peri-Peri chicken burger was amazing! Curly fries are definatley worth the upgrade. The place is clean with a great atmosphere. Staff members are friendly and polite. Will definitely return!

First time back since Covid, and it's still as good as I remember. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere.

Friendly Staff, Food was not Edible, Nachos chilli was ok but the the green slime that was suppose to be guacamole was terrible and the cheese wasnt cheese it was some kind of sqeezy bottle processed polymer. I Didnt eat it, and was ill for 3 days afterward. potentially it was this as I hadnt eaten anything else that day. The beer was Ok and the coffee the LAdy made was great however the second one the gent made I doidnt drink it was just bitter and how two very different drinks came from the same kitchen, is only ever about training and knowledge.

Located next to the busy A4 this pub retains a genuine local feel. Pleasant staff give a warm welcome. Families having their dinner give a friendly look. The bright wooden look is as little Spartan but it was not difficult to get a seat.

Grim. Worst food I’ve had in a long time. Terrible burger. Just congealed meat that is rock solid and full of salt. Terrible terrible roast. Rock hard veg dripping in fat. After 15 years of trying to support this pub I won’t be back again.

Great Gluten Free Xmas Dinner and amazing selection of drinks to choose from. Will definitely recommend anyone who has dietary requirements.

The Globe has rarely disappointed since my first visit over ten years ago. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food is good and the ribs (with curly fries in the photo) are just superb! It's the best pub in the area overall. Note: I just wish they could bring back the old delicious triple cooked chips that have been replaced by an anemic sub-par variant years ago.

The food was superb and the Globe were extremely accommodating for our daughter. The wait time for food was a little longer than we had hoped and I was horrified that a pint of Estrella was £7.20, but all in all a great experience and the staff were excellent.
