Le Taj in Hounslow

the nan was uncooked, dal was smelling bad, lollypops was uncooked, everything was cold, worst food I ever had. it was so terrible 😭

I stumbled upon Le Taj a few years ago and have been back 4-5 times. They never disappoint and prices are really reasonable for quality and portions that you get. This is one of the very few Indian restaurants that know how to get things right. I really hope more people will go here. They deserved to be a packed house every night. This place is a real rare gem.

Raita was missing with a briyani chicken was undercooked. Horrible experience.

Absolutely scrumptious and arrived on time

The food was delicious and generous portion Size for most of the food ordered. The lamb curry only had 4 pieces of lamb in it but was tasty. The only small issue we're the uncomfortable chairs. If you were on a cushioned bench you were fine but the static chairs were not suitable for a 2/3 hour meal.

The food at Le Taj is excellent. I had the Railway lamb dish, a rich mild curry, with saffron rice and a cheese chilli naan and my eating companion, who can't eat tomatoes, hsd a wonderful chicken saag that they cooked specially for her. I gave the service a 5 rating but it should be 10 on that alone. The decor is unfussy and comfortable, and with the 20% booking discount, our meal, with a starter and drinks, came in at 35 pounds for the 2 of us. I highly recommend Le Taj. Well worth a visit - or ten!

Food was amazing best curries we have had in ages, seriously 10/10 food. Service was slow considering we were only ones in there not sure if it’s today or everyday but wouldn’t stop us from coming again. Will be booking again for sure.

There was an item missing but got a refund for that. Otherwise very nice indeed. Will order from them again.

restaurant hits delivered when driver leaves with order.. so makes it look like delivered early or on time. but arrived 20 mins later. food is very good tho

Food was great, portion size is worth the money, the only thing I will say is I thought it was a portion of poppadoms but it was only one. Overall very happy and will definitely be ordering again

Best curry place in feltham. Nothing even comes close. Always piping hot . Plus they always have deals 10/10. So glad i found this place. Hopefully my forever go to indian.

Probably the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten in many Indian restaurants over the years. As a group of 8 we received outstanding service, every person enjoyed every part of their meal, and it was brilliant value. Definitely one to return to the next time we’re in the Heathrow area.

We ubered here from our airport hotel exclusively because we wanted to have good quality Indian food before flying home. They did not disappoint. Large cuts of chicken in the Tikka Masala and the Korma, soft naan and wonderful hospitality . I would come here again in a heartbeat!

Only ever ordered from Just Eat but so far everything has met expectations. Good value as well.

Dal Makhani was very tasty and sumptuous. Punjabi dhaba style lamb curry was good, but can be better with a little more portion of shredded lamb

Best biriyani I have had in a long time. First class meal

We have been searching for a decent Indian Nepalease restaurant since moving to Feltham. Most in the area are appalling, enter Le Taj. Takeaways have proven to be very good, unfortunately last night's (chicken chettinad) was unedible, I am desperately hoping this was just a blip, and that the restaurant will continue to serve excellent food. I did call to let them know and, just about got a 'sorry' . Please check the quality, up the customer service and you will probably have the best restaurant in Feltham, otherwise my search will continue.

We were the only people here for a reason. We decided to only order starters and leave as it was just not to our liking. When you walk it its a nice place, however its not clean, the floor was filthy with clubs and stickiness. The guy serving us was polite and friendly, however he we could keep hearing him sniffling and it wasn't pleasant. We ordered chilli paneer. This came with the paneer pieces covered in a batter, fried and then the flavours, our first dish was so overfried it was impossible to cut, but the made a fresh one straight away. The sheekh kebabs were two rather short and small pieces which were not the same size and three piece of chicken in the murgh tikka. The flavours were light and very mild. We also ordered a butter naan, which was OK but very doughy.

Used to be really good food and always on time. Now food has definitely gone down hill. I just had a korma with 5 small pieces of chicken.

Stumbled across this place a couple years ago by accident and have been back a few times already. This place is underrated, the food quality and service is impeccable. Best Indian food I’ve ever had in London and I should know being Indian. Please go to this place you will not be disappointed.

Had my dads birthday party here’s The food is absolutely amazing - they tailor the dishes as per your preferences and happy to suggest what to Oder. My daughter wanted the king prawn curry so they said they would make a kids portion. They also made a cocktail based on our suggestion - I wanted something sweet and spicy and they made a sherbet ginger cocktail with q salt and chilli rim. Customer service is the best I think I have ever had. This is my new favorite Indian

Elvis and the team are great at what they do. They understand hospitality, exude creativity, and make delicious mocktails with an edge. The food tells a story, is pleasing to the eye and all other senses. I highly recommend Le Taj to anyone looking to have a hearty meal with a unique twist. I'm sure we will be back time and time again. Le Taj is one to watch.

starters were delicious, but the madras chicken in the main course wasn't nice at all. I wouldn't recommend that. However loved the chicken tikka and kheema poa.

From the outside inside won’t go in, but was it worth venturing in. The food and people and service out of the world and value for money. One of the best Indian meals I’ve had (outside of Indian!) Great selection of dishes to suit any palate, with very smooth spices and flavours. Will definitely make a return

Good decent lamb biryani from here, the kofta chat was top class, chilli chicken very delicious as well. Very friendly staff here. Elvis was really good in customer service and also gave me 10% discount on the bill. Definitely recommend👍

Really good starters & fantastic service!! The mains were good, but the starters were super good! So loading up on starters is a much better choice! Service was really good too, great team!

First time order from Le Taj. Food was excellent. Chicken Tikka Dansak was just right with a balance between sweet, sour, and chilli. Very thick sauce with lovely large split pea lentils. The Shingara (samosa) Chat was also very tasty. I may visit the restaurant to eat in next time but will certainly order takeaway again.

We came here on a Saturday evening with an offer. The service and ambience was great. We got the grilled platter which was fantastic- the chicken and lamb stood out to us the most. We also got the aloo chaat which was lovely. For mains we got the chicken biryani which had large pieces of chicken within it. We also got the railway lamb curry which was seasoned fantastically. Poppadums and chutney also great. Overall a great experience and the mocktails are great. Our total bill was £50 which is reasonable

The food was well cooked, but the recipe for the mushroom bhaji and the lamb Dish tasted totally different to what it used to. The mushrooms were much bigger, and didn’t have as much taste the lamb was succulent, but the sauce tasted like gravy.

I had the most amazing vada pau and masala chips, I would definitely recommend the vada it's delicious... And I've never tasted masala chips like the ones they made here...soooooo tasty I will definitely be going back to try out the other dishes on the menu..

The sauce for the Balti was so tart I genuinely couldn’t eat it, had to pull the meat out and use some of my partners sauce from her masala to make another curry. Shame as we have ordered here a few times and it’s always been good.

Great food and accommodating staff. Difficult to assess atmosphere when dining alone. Hope to return soon to sample the new Tapas style offerings.

Personally, this place was a great find for me and my wife! The food was delicious, the quantity served was just the right amount you would expect for a couple. The service offered was exceptional! The ambience could be favorable for a nice moderate candle light dinner. Overall, the dining experience was surreal and satisfying. Definitely would recommend Le Taj to other people and I would even want to come here a second time.

Becoming a regular weekly visit and as always the food was excellent. I had the Chicken Dhansak which I used to have 30 years ago at Gurkha Tandoori Feltham and Tandoori Nights Feltham and this was much nicer. Lovely large chunks of chicken which is soft and moist. Yet again 10/10 as the staff are great.

Stumbled across this place when going to watch a film at the cineworld around the corner. I was blown away! The food is amazing and so reasonably priced. Everything we got was fresh and a generous portion. It was so good my wife and I came back 3 weeks later. The staff very nice and friendly. This place does proper Indian food not your typical botch up curry house.

The food was actually 15 minutes late even though the app will not let select so. I suspect the restaurant is saying it has been delivered when it has not. Whilst the food was ok it is let down by the customer overall service. Disappointed!

Becoming a weekly visit as the food is excellent and the staff so friendly and good. Tried the lamb chops starter which was lovely and same for main dhansak and jalfrezi but had a different rice which was lovely, Worth a try as lovely, bright and airy and very clean.

Great Dhaba Lamb and sag aloo, Chicken Tikka in dopiaza was a little dry, but all the sauces were lovely. Overall a really nice meal.

Beautiful authentic food. Unquestionable service. Highly recommended. Will be my new go to!

Superb as always my go to curry house now

This is our fourth visit in the last few weeks. We always have the Poppadoms with the dips and then Chicken Tikka as the coriander and mint sauce with it is lovely. My partner has the Dhansak and I usually have Jalfrezi but although Pathia is not on the menu, I asked if they could do a chicken one and they did and it was brilliant. Staff are friendly and drinks are reasonable and a bonus it's walking distance.

Brilliant first time here, fast and friendly chap on the phone to order. Even faster delivery which was great and perfect food with generous portions. A* Must vist

This restaurant is great and the food is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. We have now tried quite a few dishes but stick with the Chicken Tikka Starters followed by Jalfrezi and Dhansak. Third visit in a few weeks and we will visit regularly. Very clean and modern decorated restaurant.

Don’t order from here unless you want to wait 2 hours for it to be delivered. When you phone to ask where the delivery is the man on the phone lies to say it’s on its way when it clearly isn’t. When the food finally arrived it wasn’t a very good standard of cuisine. Very disappointed.

The food was so good Saturday 22/7 here so the 3 of us went back 6 days later and again could not fault the service or the food. Didn't have to wait long between courses. Excellent restaurant.

Not happy that the mint sauce was spilled into the damaged box of food that cost £21 alone. The naan bread was missing from the delivery. Also all the poppadoms were crushed. I can send photos if necessary.
