The best restaurants in Romford Town Havering London

When you pay about 30% extra for your food. You would expect the takeaway to be good. Clearly not here. Satay chicken, was overcooked and dry. Nasi goreng too moist but acceptable Crispy salt and chilli squid, not crispy but soggy and flavourless Crispy shredded chilli beef was surprisingly 5 star and very good. Now the pad Thai. If your cuisine has Thai focus on it, the pad Thai needs to be at least decent, otherwise your takeaway is doomed. The takeaway is definately doomed, my pad Thai was swimming with sauce and overly sweet. All I could taste was the pad Thai sauce. Overall terrible food, definately would not order again. Absolutely overpriced for what it is. I pay £45 where it would usually cost me £28 in my local takeaway and this is ordering direct too.

Two of us went in here today as coach drivers from Eastbourne on a day trip. Met with friendliness and a smile. Had a breakfast and a cuppa of Yorkshire tea. Great food and tea. Don't pass this one by...

This is the best starbucks i have been to Andi the manager had been here about 6 years and is so lovely and runs the place so well. The coffee ,staff like Lauren and Veronika are so hospitable and the atmosphere is lovely. Try it yourself.

I was excited to try the food; but I was underwhelmed to say the least. The chicken in my burger was tiny and overcooked/hard. There were hardly any chicken in my chicken on chips dish. My chips were cold. I’m just amazed how you can changed £6 for a tiny, hard burger. Such a shame; this place could have been great.

I ordered a mince meat that was on there glass display , am SURE that they forgot if the food was out dated ot not , as its the resturants job to care for there quality of food and customers well-being , as i got FOOD POISONING from eating there Mince meat that was in there display glass for there customers to see , as i noticed a pulsating headache coming on and i also suffered diarrhoea AFTER leaving the place , i should have gone to the hospital to get myself checked out and have it on RECORD for food poisoning , the service by the female workers in Chef Asia is very immature and childish , one woman i caught out giggling over the phone over a mistake SHE HERSELF MADE and i told the manager could you please fix your female co-workers attitude as i was ordering over the phone for delivery , as it was very irritating , everytime i go to Chef Asia for my favorite selection of food from there menu they always give the stupid boring answer of " oh am sorry sir but that food is out of stock or this food is out of stock " line , then your gonna LOSE CUSTOMERS if you keep telling them that DUH !! , I swear the manager seriously needs a seeing to from the Health Inspectors as this place doesnt seem safe for customers who visit here as i got food poisoning , 1/10 rating for this place , future customers please beware and approach this place with WITH EXTREME CAUTION !! you have been warned !!

Great place, they do a great donor kebab and staff are all very friendly, I highly recommend

First and last time i go here the food was disgusting and even worse ended up being sick in the evening and too top it off which was rank my partner found a hair in there fries never again

Food was horrible, you can tell they gave really old food and the barbecue wings barely had any bbq sauce on it, it was basically normal wings

This place is disgusting it's full of down and outs 1 person on the bar no clue between lemon or lime how hard is it a 4 year old can work that out and don't get me started on the the toilets the young girl that supposedly runs this place needs a head wobble

Very bad experience. Got food poisoned, vomitted everything out in the middle if the night and went sleepless with heavy gastric issues. Ordered Tandoori Chicken and Chicken TIkka Masala. Tandoori Chicken wasnt any great with soggy masala, just pasted red in color. Chicken Tikka masala was SUGAR SYRUP! They advertise one thing and what arrives is not 1% matching to it. I never had such a pathetic experience from any shops so far. There should be some food quality inspections done for these kind of shops.

I haven’t been there but I am Chinese and by the photos I can tell you… THIS is not REAL TRUE Chinese cuisine folks! Only if you fancy dishes that are made cheap sweet, high carb and salty for Western tastes maybe this is the place for you. Ask any Chinese friend who knows Chinese food for an alternative recommendation! Hopefully this place improves by your helpful comments! They maybe a good family that just needs good constructive feedback.

Nice coffee, well it should be for the price you pay anyway. Sometimes they can be a bit slow but I guess it does get busy

I often go to this cafe with elderly family members when we visit Romford as they like to go here. Today it was very busy in there and to be honest they could go with more seating room in the cafe. You do deserve like you are far too close to other tables. It was very busy in there today, we were lucky as we managed to get a table, which we had to clear ourselves, but most people who were getting food would have found it hard to find an empty table. They should look at how many customers they have and if they are packed then they should turn people away as it’s not fair if people buy food and drinks but have no where to sit. Food and drink have always been nice in there, staff seem very friendly, but I always have to ask for more butter to go with our toasted tea cakes!
