The Fat Indian Takeaway in Havering

Ordered a takeaway at the restaurant while we waited for our food the young man got us chairs to sit on. Food was very tasty with good flavour.

Extremely small portion size, compared to other places near by I guess it is what you pay for!! - After speaking to the manager on the phone he told me you only serve 4 pieces of lamb or 4 pieces of chicken on your curry meals. This doesn’t even equal to 1 portion. So you’re paying £6.50 and £7.50 for 4 pieces of lamb meat which could either be a chunk of fat or something very small! You need to call your curry in a hurry; sauce and meat or naked curry! Need to find a new takeaway now as food was always good here! And my kids used to loved it Also be careful with reviews some places nowadays pay for reviews

Food was advised as 20mins however arrived in double that time. However when the food arrived, the portions are extremely generous and the food was cooked lovely and had great flavours. So was worth the wait.

Delicious food and amazing customer experience is a little gem in heart of Essex serving amazing Indian authentic food. Highly recommended to try this place out before you try any other I love this place it is my regular for now most definitely😁

I ordered Pani puri from them and it came all soggy with hot potatoes stuffed inside and all the puffs were soggy and disgusting. How can you pre add potatoes to the puff and hot ones at that for a takeaway. So disappointed and waste of money. Will never order from here

Stayed over at the Brentwood Holiday Inn and ordered a meal late night. Growing up eating Indian food almost every week I have my regulars up north. Have to say, after many years of my trips down south, it's first time I was really impressed by a Indian takeaway. The flavours were awesome. Portions perfect. Well packed and you can see from the presentation these guys put in a lot of effort. Definitely one to try if you are down this end.

I ordered 2 "magic bags" from the Too Good to Go" app. They cost £4 each but we meant to contain £12 food. It was awful. Each bag contained 1 pot of rice with crispy batter on the top and 1 pot of thd most watery, greasy and flavourless curry sauce I have ever had. A small box containing 4 onion bhajis which were very dry and a poppadom. No way was this £4 worth if food let alone £12. It was so awful we binned the lot, went to Tesco and bought 2 Indian meals for two, each containing rice, 2 different curries, onion bhajis and 2 naan. Each box costs £3.75. Cost less had more in it snd was edible.

Ordered from fat Indian takeaway in Romford today as a change and was so disappointed. I can only describe the food as utter sludge. Most of it had to be thrown in the bin and large parts seemed uncooked in one curry. It was all very watery and had some had a strange smell that wasn't right. I would advise to stay away unless you want food poisoning.

So f*** rude!! Forgot something in my order and basically said not our fault! Did not care whatsoever. Sent “complimentarys” but forgot what I actually ordered!! Avoid! Scammers and rude men!!

I have had alot of Indian takeaways in my time but this one tops them all, lovely food tastes out of this world, and the little free pots of bombay mix goes down a treat too. Thanks guys found my favourite Indian takeaway now 😍

The pizza and pasta are to die for :) I have tried the indian dishes aswell and they were absolutely yummy
