New tasty chicken in Havering

Ordered last night as a cheeky treat. Don’t usually order from here. Today I have has the WORST food poisoning. It’s now been more than 24hrs. I haven’t been able to eat anything. And I haven’t been able to leave the bathroom. I couldn’t even function.

this dixy is bad because of this new staff from now on. I said that I want pizza with normal chicken that is not spicy, they made it spicy, the owner was ok making pizza and the food was good, I will not go to eat there again I ordered a pizza there, I ate two servings of chicken, I took a pizza house and I was shocked when I ate the first slice of pizza and it's spicy, shameless with the rarity of food, you tell it not to be spicy and they do the opposite and it's hard in their mouth because they didn't make it spicy!!!!!

Ribs rubbery couldn’t pull them apart £25 I spent

Long delivery time quoted and even then it was late. I ordered the ribs, I’m not sure what meat I got, it appeared to be some sort of animal fat covered in breadcrumbs, no bones and totally not edible, I couldn’t even cut this with a knife and fork it was like bits of rubber. Called restaurant to try and get a replacement / refund and they kept hanging up on me. Shocking

For many years, I've enjoyed purchasing pizzas 🍕 for my family, particularly those with stuffed crust. When ordering, it's helpful to specify your preferred cooking level; I prefer mine slightly overcooked, and they've always accommodated my request. My children greatly prefer this pizzeria to others. I now also order large pizzas for my workplace, and they're always completely devoured upon arrival.

I have eaten here a few times before and I am appalled by the lack of care and quality of some of the food tonight - the ribs are all just sinew hardly any meat and I can’t even tear it with my teeth , I asked them on the notes to make sure there was no chicken legs and they send legs - READ THE NOTES- simple

Their peri peri comes from the peri peri box, their neighbour. Thieves deceive people by selling food from other shops. Filthy rats are all over this place. The owner is one too, his little maggot kid is also a rat just like him. Both little hideous alcoholic rats. The whole neighbourhood knows now 🤣🤣

Waited over an hour for delivery for items to be missing from my meal. Chicken missing from meals. Which was the kids dinners.. also sides missing for the mix meal deal.

I asked for no drumsticks..I was polite It shows you don't bother read requests ..not happy And it was lukewarm

Back in 2010-2021 this shop used to be really good like They had the best chicken and shop but all of the sudden this owner is really greedy. Because 1 the prices are really expensive like 3 wins and chips costs £3 LIKE WHAT!? And a burger meal is £8 like it has to be the most expensive dixy branch i’ve been. But thats not it i recently visited dixy chicken and i was served old dirty fried chicken that has feathers on it there was alot of grease in the chicken. My advice is if you are at romford station and looking for the best chicken and chips. Head to hot & tasty or lakers they provide fresh food. I wont be coming back especially how bad the food was 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

This branch of dixy is highly abusive to customers. I have never met one of the guys before and the day I buy food he comments on me mentioning that I have added weight. This is disgusting behaviour and I highly do not recommend anyone to come here. They lack respect for customers.

My recent visit to this establishment was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the short man wearing a cap behind the till was extremely rude. His behavior was especially concerning as he made several young girls, who appeared to be around 12 years old, uncomfortable by staring at them inappropriately. His attitude towards everyone in the queue was equally unacceptable, displaying an obvious lack of customer service skills. When it was my turn, he handed me the food with his back turned to me, which I found incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the food did not redeem the poor service. The wings were dry and cold, the chicken was tasteless and excessively oily, and the pizza was unevenly cooked—burnt in some areas and undercooked in others. The chicken topping even had a foul smell. When I complained, I was informed that I would need to return all the food in its original condition to receive a refund, which is an unreasonable policy if even a single bite is taken. This policy suggests they are aware of the poor quality and are deliberately trying to avoid issuing refunds. Another disturbing observation was the man behind the till drinking from a bottle with a red cap, which looked like tonic wine or perhaps cough syrup, suggesting he was intoxicated. This could explain his malicious behaviour. Overall, this experience was highly disappointing, and I would advise others to avoid this shop. Boycott this place until they improve their service and food quality!

This is my now my go to for fried chicken - it was on point and they honoured my request when I called them - just yum - hot and moorish -thank you

I never leave reviews unless positive. But this was the WORST chicken and chips I’ve had in my life. We ordered a bucket and every piece of chicken was flavourless, and the chips were stale. I also never throw away food unless it’s gone off, but we had to throw away the majority because of how bad it was. They should be ashamed to give that to customers!!!

Got to be the worst chicken and chips I’ve ever had no taste and not even hot the smallest portions of chips and even they was soggy, to deliver this is shameful cmon it’s not hard to make sure peoples orders are freshly cooked

food took 40 minutes after the driving leaving to be delivered. I understand drivers taking 2 orders to earn some money and same some time but at least make the order close together. they deliver the first and by the time they've delivered the second it's stone cold. also the chicken was very dry and very chewy.

when the food turned up it was the pieces that have dropped into the tray of spare ribs it was absolutely no good for nothing waited over an hour again to have the food replaced when it turned up it was freezing cold absolutely abysmo was advised the manager is off but will be informed

This shop is ran by a Pakistani couple. The female acts very innocent but very cunning. I took a wings bucket, which included apple pie/doughnut. When I reached home, I found; A. There was no Apple Pie/Doughnut B. 2 pieces of chicken wings missing. I live far away from them. However, next evening, I went there and told them I felt 'Deceived'. The lady who packed, immediately said they didn't have apple pie. I said, no problem, you could tell me and how do you explain 2 pieces wings missing? Food quality, isn't Great either. I would strongly recommend to avoid them, as much as you can

bun for the burgers were very soggy tasted like it was microwaved or sumfin, pizza was terrible, just a big dough with sprinkled cheese, on the the other hand wings were tasty.

Food was delayed, and when phoned the restraint said the driver had left but still hasn’t arrived half hour later.

I have had quite a few meals from Dixey C&P hence the review. I like the pizzas as plenty of cheese and not too much tomato and the dough really does taste fresh rather than fresh out of the freezer. I also like their chicken wings - you get the big part of the wing with plenty of meat on it rather than the 2 bone section with hardly any meat on them. For me another feature of their service is the regular early delivery generally at least 15 minutes earlier than the stated time and the driver is friendly and courteous. Possible improvements - it would be nice to be able to track the driver (as for some restaurants on Just Eat) so you know to the minute when meal will arrive.

The food was showing it was with the driver for 45 mins. The food came cold and 15 mins after the delivery time. I had to call the restaurant and the lady loed and said the driver left 5 mins ago. Just as he rsng my door bell

Food was late 55-60 mins late. The driver said they was short staff (due to, one of the drivers got burn and when home) and he was late due to the rain. I was very disappointed with this.

Great recipe. Even though its a small venue there's always space to eat there. Burgers are tasty wings are phenomenal I go to this one regularly the guy serving is always on point with orders and service can't ever complain the location is perfect right near stations pubs and shopping malls.

Would give for food 5 stars, but we've ordered 2 x 12" pizzas, but one of them was smaller size, more like 9" (have picture if need to see a proof). So feel a bit cheated.. Sad, cause before didn't had any problems with this restaurant.

Dear All, Don't ever try dixy romford, they are very rude and unprofessional. this bloody lady keep searching small wings for customers and old dried wings. They just making money. They don't provide ketchup or Mayo, they will keep it to take their home. What kind of business is it? I don't recommend at all

My delivery was on time-ish however I ordered X2 Dixy combo meals one with coleslaw and one with beans , I didn't receive my coleslaw and the Dixy combo should come with Apple pies but i didn't receive them either , rather disappointed with the service doubt weather I will use again , I mean how hard can it be to put the right things in the bag.

I've seen them cook their chicken and fries in the same frier, hence the chips tasting like chicken. Been told I'll wait 5 mins for my order only for it to take about 15 mins I also think they prepare the raw chicken in the same place as their pizzas as the coating somewhat tasted like pizza dough, and there was also tomato sauce underneath the coating

All the food arrived warm the only hot thing was the hash brown. Missing chicken wings. And on top of all the the food was very very bland. Definitely wouldn’t go to again.

Used to love the spicy chicken burgers from here but the quality has gone down so much. The fillets are smaller, thinner and overcooked.
