New Beijing in Havering

I don’t know what happened from my last order but this was like street food scrapped from a dry pan. Ribs was just fat and Luke warm. Sorry

Once again delivery was late. Also the dish that I ordered was wrong. Far too many issues with this restaurant. Late deliveries and now incorrect dishes whatever next! Hopefully the owner will look at his customers issues and rectify them rather than rushing orders through. Also actually take the time to check things properly before food going out on delivery. Also if you cannot cope with the amount of orders stop taking orders as this is affecting delivery times and quality control of orders.

we have ordered a few times from here but honestly this takeaway is the worst, lovely food but there delivery times and wait time are dreadful! order at 8pm for delivery and hour and half later, totally unacceptable, the food did arrive cold and missing an item.

First time ordering was good but the second time it turned up like warm n a bit soggy

Order took 2 hours to be delivered. Food was very mediocre chips were hard and stale and sweet and sour prawns were soggy.

I placed the order at 17.43 and after receiving nothing after 2 hours called to chase the order and was told 10 mins … I waited 2hrs and 45 mins for the order … I understand times can be busy but maybe stop accepting orders if that’s the case …. I will not be ordering again

It was cold when it come took 1 hr to get to us

Food was cold. driver told me they had orders further away and left mine til last as I was nearest to restaurant. Food cold and congealed a real shame, I love I New Beijing BUT drivers let down their business 😞

food took nearly 2 hours to deliver, it was cold and the sauce had leaked out all over the food in the bag. I've used these before but never again, very disappointed

The delivery Time doubled once ordered

We have used before and we was happy but this time we had three different delivery times and food came warm was disappointed as food is normally very nice but had to call to see where and when food was coming and was at least 2 hours waiting for delivery

Food was cold and soup was not even warm

Never had a bad meal, it’s our go to Chinese. Don’t order anywhere else. And delivery this time was very fast. Highly recommend

food container damaged sauces spilt in bag and food also cold usually pretty good but not this time unfortunately also bbq sauce tasted very strange not like anything I ever tasted

Unfortunately, on this occasion, delivery took a long time. However, it’s understandable as it is a Saturday night. I must say that the food was lovely and they did apologise for the delay. Thanks for the great food.

We’ve used this place a lot and it’s always been really good food, hot and quick but now they’re always late and this last order I phoned up to chase it and found out they’d lost our ticket so the food had never been cooked and had to wait a further 40minutes before it arrived despite being promised 20minutes max. I don’t know what’s happened there but it’s disappointing

Food is always good. I always get a pack of crackers for free. I recommend it.

been a loyal customer to this restaurant for 10+ years, always spend £40+ when we order about once month, daughter loves the mini spring rolls, they come with orders over a certain £ and were on my order tonight but didn't turn up, called the restaurant and was told " THEY WERE FREE ANYWAY SO WE DONT NEED TO GIVE THEM TO YOU" but why order them twice in case they decide not to send them, prawn crackers were a day old as well, chewed on them that much I could have blown bubbles with them.

On the most part food was lovely! Satay chicken was however dry and I’ve had glasses of water with more flavour then that sauce and the s&s pork was not edible straight in the bin! Rice was lovely, chow mein lovely, ribs average.. not enough to come back I’m afraid

The Singapore noodles were so spicy that it made them inedible

originally estimated for 6.25pm (50 minutes after naking the order) then delivery updated to 7pm. so 1hr 20 mins after making the order.

food was later than first quoted in app, it was not that warm and item missing. phoned and they argued with me. used to be nice here.

There doesn’t appear to be an order. What am I supposed to do. It says it is ready to collect but the restaurant denies that there is an order. What on earth is going on!!!!

Food mainly good, but chicken a bit chewy. Delivery was on time but took a bit longer than expected after being told delivery was on its way. I am guessing there may have been more than one delivery in the vehicle. Pleasant delivery person

A little late but the food was very good as always. A new driver, I believe. And the restaurant was thoroughly decent in refunding the delivery fee by way of apology. Very good service and attitude.

The food when it arrived was nice, however the delivery was terrible when I booked it was confirmed that it will be 40 minutes, I got a delivery on its way message over 90 minutes later and the it was delivered after 2 hours and 20 minutes!!!

The food was absolutely disgusting. Last time I ordered from this restaurant, they forgot half the order so we had to wait for the driver to go back and get it and by that time it was all cold. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and order again but I will never be ordering from this restaurant again! The rice was dry and crusty and the chicken in the sweet and sour was so overcooked it was chewy.

Delivered a little earlier than quoted, which was good. Good food cooked well, delicious.

The order was 80 minutes late. We tried calling over 50 times and the restaurant would not pick up. I require a refund for the meal as we ate something else as we did not know if it was even going to turn up due to no one answering the phone.

Collected our food as we couldn’t get through on the phone, waited about 20mins from start to finish, you could see the lady serving was flustered it was a busy rainy Saturday night and also Chinese new year, they were having problems with the delivery drivers so not the lady’s fault. Some irate people whilst we were waiting. However, the food was beautifully cooked hot and tasty, been our fave for years and will continue to be. All I will say is if you want it delivered be prepared to wait a while or for it to come cold.

I still have not got my food an ordered nearly 3 hours ago. I have tried ringing over 150 times and constantly engaged. Try and telling and 4 and 6 year old to wait for dinner when they are falling asleep. Absokute

When food hadn’t arrived by estimated delivery, I went through Just Eat service to get an update on when food would arrive and was informed the restaurant would text me within 5 minutes with an update…i never received a text. I then tried to call the restaurant numerous times over the course of 30 mins, they didn’t answer any of the calls. Once the food arrived it was handed over without an apology, or even an acknowledgement that it was really late. The food itself was fine, once it arrived.

2hrs still no food but just eat said it had been delivered and I should enjoy my meal? Phoned the restaurant and they hadn’t even cooked it? Shambles!!

Ordered 2 hours ago and still hasn’t shown up, tried to call multiple times but won’t go through! Edit; after 35 minutes of posting this, it finally showed up. Surprisingly still hot. But two and half hours is terrible

We collected as we tried to get in touch via phone but it was so busy. It was a Saturday very rainy and Chinese new year, you could see the lady was flustered and she was overly apologetic about it. Our order (set meal F and some large sauces and extra chilli beef £43) took about 20 mins from start to finish and a couple of irate people came in to complain that their food wasn’t delivered via just eat, delivering etc. The lady was very apologetic and said our drivers are slower tonight as it’s rainy etc. I can see the problems from both sides and let’s face it “you are not you when you’re hangry” once our food was ready and we got it home it was tasty, hot and all the crispy things were crispy. We’ve been using this place for 4 years and never had a bad thing to say about it, I dabble in cooking my own so would say if it was horrible or undercooked ect. Always been good value, really nicely cooked, good portions, perfect flavoring and meat ratio etc. The problem is defo in the delivery and I know that you’ve paid extra on all these dishes so expect a service but if you go get it in person then you don’t get the problems with late deliveries or no shows, no soggyness and genuinely nice food. Can honestly say we will still be using new beijing in the future and will always be picking it up.

I have looked at a lot of the reviews about this place & the majority of the negativity Is down to the likes of Just eat & Uber eats etc taking ages to deliver, get out your armchair & collect it you lazy Bas%#*^s it’ll be hot, tasty & cheaper than most around here !

We never usually have any problems but this time, our food arrived 2 and half hours late but not with any explanation.
