Never received the order after 2 hours and chasing the restaurant they kept giving me excuses

The food was too salty...can you please reduce your salt in the food

I asked for no onions but the food has under cooked onions

One and a half hours delivery time and even then was 5 minutes late!

On the most part food was lovely! Satay chicken was however dry and I’ve had glasses of water with more flavour then that sauce and the s&s pork was not edible straight in the bin! Rice was lovely, chow mein lovely, ribs average.. not enough to come back I’m afraid

The Singapore noodles were so spicy that it made them inedible

originally estimated for 6.25pm (50 minutes after naking the order) then delivery updated to 7pm. so 1hr 20 mins after making the order.

food was later than first quoted in app, it was not that warm and item missing. phoned and they argued with me. used to be nice here.

Was easy to contact restaurant to get an update.

There doesn’t appear to be an order. What am I supposed to do. It says it is ready to collect but the restaurant denies that there is an order. What on earth is going on!!!!

DISGUSTED did not receive any food even after a notification to say courier was on route. I even drove to your establishment (which supposedly closes at 11pm) just to find it closed at 10:35pm

Food mainly good, but chicken a bit chewy. Delivery was on time but took a bit longer than expected after being told delivery was on its way. I am guessing there may have been more than one delivery in the vehicle. Pleasant delivery person

Food didn’t even turn up massively unreliable

A little late but the food was very good as always. A new driver, I believe. And the restaurant was thoroughly decent in refunding the delivery fee by way of apology. Very good service and attitude.

Always really nice but did find the noodles quite dry and chewy. Luckily had some curry sauce I could use.

The food when it arrived was nice, however the delivery was terrible when I booked it was confirmed that it will be 40 minutes, I got a delivery on its way message over 90 minutes later and the it was delivered after 2 hours and 20 minutes!!!

The food was absolutely disgusting. Last time I ordered from this restaurant, they forgot half the order so we had to wait for the driver to go back and get it and by that time it was all cold. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and order again but I will never be ordering from this restaurant again! The rice was dry and crusty and the chicken in the sweet and sour was so overcooked it was chewy.

We are regular customers but today was a 2 hour wait from ordering which was disappointing. Had to chase up the order after it failed to turn. Hoping it was a one off!!

Delivered a little earlier than quoted, which was good. Good food cooked well, delicious.

The order was 80 minutes late. We tried calling over 50 times and the restaurant would not pick up. I require a refund for the meal as we ate something else as we did not know if it was even going to turn up due to no one answering the phone.

When food hadn’t arrived by estimated delivery, I went through Just Eat service to get an update on when food would arrive and was informed the restaurant would text me within 5 minutes with an update…i never received a text. I then tried to call the restaurant numerous times over the course of 30 mins, they didn’t answer any of the calls. Once the food arrived it was handed over without an apology, or even an acknowledgement that it was really late. The food itself was fine, once it arrived.

2hrs still no food but just eat said it had been delivered and I should enjoy my meal? Phoned the restaurant and they hadn’t even cooked it? Shambles!!

We collected as we tried to get in touch via phone but it was so busy. It was a Saturday very rainy and Chinese new year, you could see the lady was flustered and she was overly apologetic about it. Our order (set meal F and some large sauces and extra chilli beef £43) took about 20 mins from start to finish and a couple of irate people came in to complain that their food wasn’t delivered via just eat, delivering etc. The lady was very apologetic and said our drivers are slower tonight as it’s rainy etc. I can see the problems from both sides and let’s face it “you are not you when you’re hangry” once our food was ready and we got it home it was tasty, hot and all the crispy things were crispy. We’ve been using this place for 4 years and never had a bad thing to say about it, I dabble in cooking my own so would say if it was horrible or undercooked ect. Always been good value, really nicely cooked, good portions, perfect flavoring and meat ratio etc. The problem is defo in the delivery and I know that you’ve paid extra on all these dishes so expect a service but if you go get it in person then you don’t get the problems with late deliveries or no shows, no soggyness and genuinely nice food. Can honestly say we will still be using new beijing in the future and will always be picking it up.

I still have not got my food an ordered nearly 3 hours ago. I have tried ringing over 150 times and constantly engaged. Try and telling and 4 and 6 year old to wait for dinner when they are falling asleep. Absokute

Ordered 2 hours ago and still hasn’t shown up, tried to call multiple times but won’t go through! Edit; after 35 minutes of posting this, it finally showed up. Surprisingly still hot. But two and half hours is terrible

Collected our food as we couldn’t get through on the phone, waited about 20mins from start to finish, you could see the lady serving was flustered it was a busy rainy Saturday night and also Chinese new year, they were having problems with the delivery drivers so not the lady’s fault. Some irate people whilst we were waiting. However, the food was beautifully cooked hot and tasty, been our fave for years and will continue to be. All I will say is if you want it delivered be prepared to wait a while or for it to come cold.

I have looked at a lot of the reviews about this place & the majority of the negativity Is down to the likes of Just eat & Uber eats etc taking ages to deliver, get out your armchair & collect it you lazy Bas%#*^s it’ll be hot, tasty & cheaper than most around here !

waited and hour and 40mins and it was barely warm, over cooked and tasteless . First and last time ordering unfortunately.

king prawn chop suey , lovely prawns but the chop suey had no or little flavour definitely not worth the money. I have ordered from them before with no problem but felt ripped off by the sauce!!! so put it in the bin !!!!

No food has been delivered. It is not a first time. This is very dissapointing.

I have forgiven a lot of mistakes from New Beijing, such as ordering something like a chicken with brocoli, but requesting that brocoli be the only vegetable they put in because they do add other things like mushroom or carrot, only to then be given JUST a box of brocoli that has NO meat in it - which almost feels like a practical joke. I have specified I am allergic to one particular vegetable only to find it hidden tucked away in my dish, which at one point I was rushed to hospital. The final straw came when I found a sizable bone in my chicken dish which had a sharp end which I nearly choked on and it caused injury only to be told a refund will not be given. I've had enough, I tried to be loyal and forgive mistakes, but it seems they don't care enough about customers. I won't be ordering again.

Was supposed to be delivered at 6:55. We kept calling the restaurant and the phone was perminintely busy. At 7:55 we decided to drive to the restaurant to pick up ourseves to which they made the food there and then. The food was fine but we never recieved the delivery to which we paid for.

I ordered My meal at 15:00 as a pre order. I recieved a notification telling me it will be delivered at 16:05. I never recieved any updates on when it was out for delivery. I called the restaurant over 10 times no answer. I even left a voicemail. I had to re order a meal from another restaurant which came on time. Then the initial restaurant who was not responsive, the driver contacts me after 18:00 informing me he is outside to deliver my meal. Over two hours late. I rejected the meal as I paid the second time for another meal elsewhere and I requested a refund. Just eat you emailed me rejecting my refund, why? The service was poor and you caused me alog of expenses. Please justify why my refund is rejected if no communication was made to inform the customer if her meal is still coming 2 hours late and you still charged me!

The food is nice, but it's always extremely late, will not be ordering again.

The food is always nice but it was cold due to late delivery

I ordered orange chicken and they gave me lemon chicken which I did not order.

Last time we ordered it arrived over an hour late, but as the food was lovely we decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately tonight the food was cold, even though it arrived within the time give (although originally 45-55 minutes, this was updated to 1hr-1hr 20mins as soon as we put the order through. Ended up throwing it away (as I won't reheat) and put a pizza in the oven instead. Don't think I'll be wasting my money ordering from them again

Good arrived late and cold. Called restaurant to find out where the delivery driver was as it was showing as delivered on my app, all they said was they were on their way. We waited almost 2 hours for delivery mid-week. I’d fully have understood if it was the weekend due to busier times but seems a lot for a Tuesday and the order wasn’t that large.

Don't usually order from New Beijing but usual shop is closed on Tuesdays. Ordered at 6.15pm arrived about 7.30 which was 15 mins within estimated time but seemed a long time to wait for midweek. Food was brown and looked unappetising. Noodles and rice seemed small and shrivelled but thought I would taste better than it looked. It didn't. Chicken in CF rice was tough. Chips rubbery and everything tasted the same. Chicken balls were quite good but beansprouts soggy. Must have been cooked (or recooked) and kept hot before delivery.

Food wasn’t really hot and delivery was late

Been ordering from these wonderful people for 6 yrs now and their food is always amazing and service excellent. I got my food in 20 mins of ordering it. Piping hot and delicious. Thanks Guys! Delivery person always polite and smiling.

Food still not arrived after 2 1/2 hours - I rang about half an hour ago & was told it was on its way - probably be stone cold if it does arrive - how do I get a refund.

The slowest, coldest delivery I have ever had! Despite being assured by the restaurant that they package it well so would not be cold, it was freezing when it arrived, 2 hours after I placed my order!
