Absolutely lovely. The best salt and pepper prawns you can get. The best salt and pepper wings you can get. Best bbq ribs you can get. Absolutely rapid delivery service. Terrible. Worst Chinese I’ve had for a long time, maybe ever! Curry sauce was just gross, salty and thick with no other flavour, less like sauce, more like salty jelly. Nil points.

The food was lovely, nice size portion, fresh & hot. The best Chinese I've esten in a very long time. It was delivered early, the driver was polite & efficient. I will definitely be ordering from New Season again.

If this is the best in Romford i dread to think what the others are like. Awful chinese worst i've ever had curry was thick came out in big blob noodles were really thick no flavour rice was over cooked and dry again no flavour 1st and last visit for us.

Roast duck with rice and the Crispy pork are my go to here and always goes down well!

After reading the review of the New Season in the Romford Recorder we thought we would try it for ourselves. Worse mistake we have made. It was horrible. Chicken balls where very large (not like the photo on the menu) they had very thick batter on them and the chicken was all fatty. Pancake rolls again had so much soggy, greasy batter on them. Ribs were so dry and burnt. It cost £8 more than our normal chinese. If this is the best in Romford I dread to think what the worse is. Please take my advice and don't use it.

Off and on I have been buying food from here for years. Occasionally not up to thier usual standard (we all have off days) For me personally, Its value for money, big portions, tasty food and they are helpful. What else would you want?

If you like your Chinese tasting like its been cooked in the red sea, then this is the place for you! They must have gave everything a bloody salt bath before sending it out. No idea how this is the best rated Chinese in the area. Extremely overpriced for what it is. I would avoid

It was like I was having dinner in the red sea. If you like salt, this is the place to be. The only flavour at this takeaway is salt, absolutely terrible. Overpriced for what it is, worst Chinese in the area. I have no idea how this restaurant is rated as a legend on just eat, it's bloody awful!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never ordered from here before and I phoned to order 3 portions of rice. Simply asked how much something was and the woman on the phone kept sighing and saying “Omg” while sighing. She was very rude and terrible customer service.

Tried every Chinese in the romford/dagenham area. This one is BY FAR, the greatest. Order was at the door in 13 minutes!. 😀. But the cherry on the cake was the flavour. Won't be ordering Chinese from anywhere else. Polite delivery guy. Enjoy people.

Rudest staff I’ve ever spoke to. Paid for my delivery via just eat with my card and then had the cheek to try charging me for a few extra chillis I didn’t have spare cash indoors as I paid with debit card. So was made to remove the pot of chillis and hand them back over Man on the phone told me he doesn’t give away ‘stuff’ for free like I was a scrounger. Never been so Insulted in my life Anyway I won’t be using again obviously. And wish I Hasn’t of ordered as the ribs were bland. The pancake rolls were inedible and the hot and sour soup was tasteless. The only thing hot was the heat from it being cooked Worst Chinese company

The management has changed since my last review back in 2016, but the new people are just as nice, and the standard of the dishes remains very high. If anything, the portions seem a little larger than before, and I think the prices are roughly the same. They now do deliveries. Also they have a loyalty card which, if you're a regular, is definitely worth having.

One of the Best Chinese ever had

Just ordered for the first time going by good reviews and it was the worst I’ve ever had. King prawns full of oil dripping off them and well over done. Rice looked like it was re fried from last night. And crispy seaweed was not crispy it was soggy and disgusting. That will be my last time ordering from that place.

I had the sweet and sour sliced chicken, with egg-fried rice, and pancake rolls.Whilst I was surprised to have received two rolls, they were nicely crunchy but not very filled.The sweet and sour chicken was a breaded breast, sliced, on a bed of bean shoots. The chicken tasted dry enough to spoil the flavour (seemed to be over cooked), and the bean shoots made the sauce watery, and it also didn’t have much tang.The rice was eggy, but in no way the best I’ve had.Considering I chose this restaurant based on the customer reviews and this classed as being a Just Eat ‘Legend’, I was quite disappointed with the food I received. I wouldn’t rush to order from here again.

Fantastic service friendly people and food excellent

Ordered for two. Spent £25. Threw food away, it was horrid. Phoned to complain, not offered money back, only to cook the order again. Not recommended Will not order from here again.

The trouble with Chinese is that the regional changes are huge. The portion size is great, I still never know how they pack so much in to the pots, especially rice and chow mein. All very flavourful, hot (temperature) and quickly cooked. I agree though with one of the previous reviews, the curry sauce is pretty dire, I end up adding chilli sauce in it.

Great takeaway certainly the best I've ever had...

Great service and very professional including the delivery driver. The food arrived very quickly and was hot at the door. The curry sauce was delightful one of the best I've tasted however I found the noodles very dry for my liking I prefer noodles with a bit more oil and oyster sauce added but that's just personal preference. Overall recommended.

Had delivery a little expensive but probably worth it for the mushroom rice.All other food very nice and get what you expect.Food arrived within the time limit And just overall tastes very niceOrdering from here for a while now, but first review Will definitely be ordering that mushroom rice again,!!

Horrible curry sauce, son had the Chui Sui pork, 50% pure fat.. put straight in bin.. most disgusting choice ever. On a positive note the shrimp chowmein was good. But not worth going there again. Not recommended.

Would like to say a massive thank you! Was on my way home from work and my family was craving a Chinese, I'm a vegan so it makes it difficult for me to join in on meals like that. I wasn't home to order so had to trust my slightly clueless mum. The woman on the phone was SO HELPFUL and suggested food that she could make in a vegan way (as they don't have a vegan menu). The food came quicker than expected and was LOVELY. Thank you so much and thanks for making the ordering process so helpful!

Have used this establishment for 30+ years, not once have I had a bad meal from here.

Placed an order online. Stated they were open. We're all waiting for dinner when I get an "email" stating they have cancelled the order. Thanks for that.

Curry sauce is a bland corn flower brown substance with no curry flavour at all. It amazes me that they don't know how to make curry?

Este es nuestro local China y no pide a cualquier otro lugar ya que la comida es siempre muy buena y caliente. Siempre tenemos la misma, pollo chow mien, pollo al curry salsa de alubias negras y pollo. El personal es muy amable y siempre nos dan un servicio rápido, además está a sólo 10 minutos de donde vivimos.

really nice, standard Chinese take-away. The people are very friendly and do their best to help.You always get a complimentary calendar at Christmas time.It has been there a while and has seen off some competition which, I guess, says a lot.Closed Tuesdays. I don't believe they do deliveries, but you can pre-order by phone and pick it up to save time.Worth a visit.

Este es mi restaurante chino local y me encanta. Es todo lo que se puede pedir y el servicio es siempre muy rápido. No hay nada especial sobre la comida aquí, pero si lo que quieres es un estándar, pero sin embargo llevar chino precioso recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar! El no acepta pagos con tarjeta de crédito (sólo en efectivo) pero hay una máquina sin cargo de efectivo dentro de la cooperativa a unas puertas, que está disponible para el público.
