Below average fish and chips. Really greasy and tasted like the fryer hasn't been changed in months. Can only assume that the flurry of 5 star reviews here were done by friends and family. Go literally anywhere else for fish and chips.

I have been to this place quite a few times as it is very local for me.I usually come here for lunch after my volunteering shift,the fish is very nice and very reasonably priced.

First thing first, torpedo toasted sandwiches. I have tried the dirty Greek (halloumi, lounza, loukaniko and I add bacon) with tomato and a touch of mayo 10/10. I have also eaten the chicken escalope with cheese, tomato and mayo. 10/10. This kitchen is spotless and the two young ladies who are running the show make the clients feel at home. I now visit Alex's twice a week.

Invited to a friend's birthday lunch. Bread, salad, hummus and tzatiki to start then a wonderful feast on a platter. Different cuts of chicken, lamb on rice, bulgur and bread. More than enough to go around. Birthday cake, baklava and Turkish tea to finish. Very enjoyable, excellent service.

Been going to the Honeymoon since I was a child in the 70’s and have been a good customer over the years. Sadly, the food has now deteriorated to a point where I’ve just had my last ever meal there. Here was tonight’s experience: Crispy duck - dry, tough, with poorly prepared vegetables. Pancake roll and chicken balls - opaque and literally dripping in oil, and when I say dripping, I mean, dripping. Chicken curry - rubbery, water pumped, cheap chicken, reminiscent of the texture of mushroom, definitely not chicken breast. Everything else, including rice, utterly tasteless.

Atrocious service. We had a reservation for 11 people and because we were all men they denied us access. All because we were 11 males. We had travelled far to get there and we were turned away. Appaling communication and left us all disappointed and a leaving do ruined. Outrageous sexism.

Now trading as G. Astrologia we visited on a quiet evening earlier this month and - despite being the only guests on the evening - had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone watching. The service was exceptional from, I believe, Angelika. My T-Bone was perfectly cooked, my companions also vouched for their meals and the dessert was sublime. Special mention for the Aires Andino Malbec - nectar at the price - perfect serving temperature - enhanced and complemented a good night out. Quality.

Good food, friendly staff. Not many seafood restaurants in the area, this was a good shout. Wouldn't be a regular visit, but nice to eat here every so often. Prawns were chewy and overcooked, not a deal breaker. 4 stars.

i walked in and asked for a small doner, he said he doesnt have any lamb so he can only give me chicken and i said alright. I checked the prices behind the counter and it was £9 or £9.5 for chicken doner, I assumed it would be more expensive to eat in but I did not see £21 coming in my way for chicken doner and a can of 7up! absolutely a rip off no wonder why his shop is always empty. Would never recommend to anyone nor visit again. Rip off rip off rip off
