Fish Club in Enfield

Below average fish and chips. Really greasy and tasted like the fryer hasn't been changed in months. Can only assume that the flurry of 5 star reviews here were done by friends and family. Go literally anywhere else for fish and chips.

My kids fancied fish & chips so I went online and ordered fish & chips at 12.45pm for delivery at 1.45pn. At 2pm Fish Club called me to say they just opened and can’t get my order to me until 2.25-2.30pm. Annoying but I proceeded. They delivered the food at 2.25pm (1 hour 40 mins after my order) and it was awful. The fish was incredibly greasy and the chips undercooked. We didn’t eat the food and just went out and ate something else. I emailed the Fish Club to complain and heard nothing back. These people aren’t good and don’t care. Thankfully I live near another Fish & Chip shop which is very good so I’ll be going there, never again Fish Club.

Small portion, full of oil, calamari were burned and smelling like burned oil I throw in the bin, it was a uber delivery, I won't order again

Under New Management - and what a fantastic difference the new owners has made to the business! Clean and tidy appearance, lovely staff and absolutely fantastic fish and chips. Well done to Carol, Jess and the team!

Really love this friendly family run restaurant. Likewise me elderly father. I usually have the takeaway but recently stayed to eat in. Was a wonderful experience we were served very well. The oil was fresh and the fish was expertly fried. (Batter was biscuit crisp!) Good portion sizes, peas and tartar sauce thrown in. Easily the best fish and chips in a 5 mile radius. The seating area is quite small but the staff made us feel very welcome. The rock is exceptionally good. Enjoy!

My friend have eaten here twice now,Thursday lunch time after our shift at North London Hospice. We have eaten the chicken pie with chips,and the cod,chips and mushy peas,both excellent and very good value!

Last saturday (15/04) I was invited to lunch by a close freind. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The service delivered by by the Manager, Costas was excellent and the general decor of the restaurant is first class.

Really the very best Fish and Chips you will find… anywhere! Sampled all sorts of ‘award winning’ F&Cs and none really match. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, always cooked to order. We ring through direct to get delivery (no 3rd party apps) and the delivery is on time and driver polite and friendly. Great!

We often get takeaway from here. It’s always great. Batter and chips spot on. Staff are incredibly polite and the place is spotless.

I was visiting Southgate alone on a Friday night and chose to eat here for my evening meal. I ordered Cod and Chips to eat in and waited around 10 minutes while it was freshly cooked. I also ordered a can of diet coke which was only £1. There were a few newspapers to read while waiting. The eating in area has benches and chairs. A few others were also eating in. My meal came on a ceramic plate with salad and mushy peas which I wasn't expecting. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed it. The only issue was that there were too many chips and I couldn't eat them all. The staff were lovely and everything looked very clean. I would definitely recommend either as takeaway or eat in.

Fish Club is the best Fish and Chips around this area. The fish was freshly cooked, the chips were excellent!! Highly recommanded.
