The best restaurants in Southgate Enfield London

Heard so much about this place so thought we would give it a go. Delicious! Tasty classics and a large variety of breakfasts, brunch and deserts! Served by friendly staff and nothing is too much of an effort. Defo come back here again! Keep up the good work guys.

A delightful experience from the start to finish. Greeted with warmth from the owner Ozzy, Great choice of options on their menu with all day dining. Coffee could be the best around North London, served to perfection.

Absolutely disgraceful establishment. I paid £5 for a smoothie, I sat down and took my laptop out of my bag for the waitress to tell me 'sorry we have a policy that you have to spend £10 to use your laptop'. I said I am not using your wifi, she said it doesn't matter. I then asked for a refund as I said I came her to do my work and no I can't, she then refused. This is blackmail and illegal and I am going to be reporting it to trading standards. I come to Southgate as my son attends a local dance school, I was looking for somewhere to come while I wait and was intending to bring him back to this cafe for lunch afterwards. It's incredibly short sighted of management to have such as an absurd policy and there are no clear signs on the front of the door about this policy. I have worked in cafe's all over the world and I have NEVER come across this kind of blackmail before.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff, who then brought over colouring for the children when we sat down. The wait time was minimal and the food was worth it anyway! My daughter said they were the best pancakes she’s had and asked when we could come back! The cafe is located right by Southgate Underground station, so would be great for travellers as a stop off!

Had a wonderful dinner - all food was Freshly cooked - amazing fish. Lovely service and very friendly helpful staff. Always enjoyable.

First thing first, torpedo toasted sandwiches. I have tried the dirty Greek (halloumi, lounza, loukaniko and I add bacon) with tomato and a touch of mayo 10/10. I have also eaten the chicken escalope with cheese, tomato and mayo. 10/10. This kitchen is spotless and the two young ladies who are running the show make the clients feel at home. I now visit Alex's twice a week.

La comida era horrible. Estaba prepreparado, sintético y sin sabor. Pedí un pollo con mantequilla y me dieron lo que supongo que era un korma que se hacía pasar por un pollo con mantequilla, dulce con coco. Mi invitado pidió un tikka masala que también contenía mucho coco. Pedí que volvieran a cocinar mi pollo con mantequilla sin coco, simplemente me sirvieron lo que les envié añadiendo más mantequilla. Los platos de verduras eran grasosos y carentes de sabor. El restaurante estaba vacío, apenas sorprende

How easy it is to lose a customer. Not terribly busy when we visited, but after 45 minutes and two coffees, the food had not made an appearance. After drawing this to the waitresse's attention, one of our plates arrived. The second arrived a couple of minutes later (overdone) but 3rd still missing in action. Finally arrived but clearly had been sitting under hot area for some time. Waiting staff really not experienced enough to deal with this situation, and owner disappeared tout-suite. Seems they have over-reached themselves if they cannot deal with so few orders

Overpriced and unfriendly staff. Won't go there again. Before the refurbished the cafe, the atmosphere was much nicer.

Estábamos visitando Londres y como teníamos un rato antes de reunión a algunos de nosotros fuimos a Covent Garden para almorzar

Pedimos a través de Just Eat de Kouzina Pollo Kebab, Souvlaki y una ensalada griega sin cebolla ni pimientos. Después de media hora apareció la entrega, fue un solo giroz de pollo picante. Llamamos al establecimiento y se disculparon y dijeron que enviarían lo que habíamos ordenado y pagado. Otra media hora y luego entregaron sheftalia cocida y pollo con un montón de cebolla cruda en la ensalada.
