Love Brownies Cafe in Enfield

Absolutely disgraceful establishment. I paid £5 for a smoothie, I sat down and took my laptop out of my bag for the waitress to tell me 'sorry we have a policy that you have to spend £10 to use your laptop'. I said I am not using your wifi, she said it doesn't matter. I then asked for a refund as I said I came her to do my work and no I can't, she then refused. This is blackmail and illegal and I am going to be reporting it to trading standards. I come to Southgate as my son attends a local dance school, I was looking for somewhere to come while I wait and was intending to bring him back to this cafe for lunch afterwards. It's incredibly short sighted of management to have such as an absurd policy and there are no clear signs on the front of the door about this policy. I have worked in cafe's all over the world and I have NEVER come across this kind of blackmail before.

Great community atmosphere perfect quality product. Southgates' best kept secret. The owner really takes pride in his brand and the experience is one of the best coffee shops I have been to not just in London.

Amazing choice of gluten free brownies and ice cream. Great coffee was a bonus. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be back next time we are in Windsor.

During our 4 day trip to Southgate we visited Love Brownies for brunch each day. The food was delicious. We had the avocado toast which I highly recommend and a variety of croissants and pastries, which were huge , tasty and beautifully filled. The welcome from the staff was lovely. They were friendly and attentive and we couldn’t have wished for better service. We will certainly return on our next London trip. Thank you Love Brownies!

We’ve visited every day during a short trip to London for coffee and pastries because the atmosphere, the food and especially the warm and sincere welcome are so wonderful. We’ve been regular visitors to Southgate for many years and have missed its charms very much during covid, so we’re looking forward to coming back and will definitely be visiting Love Brownies again. The avocado toast in particular is first class!

The first taste of coffee confirmed its Devine aroma It was amazing…. about the best ever. The coffee was complimented with a brownie. It transformed a casual coffee stop to a definite weekly travel of 20 miles+. Great stuff, great staff and well done.

Chanced upon this little cafe while looking for a light lunch. We were able to sit outside. Sandwiches were delicious and had a good cuppa.

Whenever me and my family are in the locality, we always make time to drop in to LBC and pick up a couple of delicious, quality lattes or cappuccinos and a cheeky brownie, or two ! Service has been unfaltering in excellent, helpful service throughout our two year frequent visits. It's in a perfect location too and ideal for some "time out" during your busy daily schedule 😉

I chanced upon this fantastic little brownie oriented cafe when I came out of the station looking for a place to meet up with some of my old Southgate-mates. It's conveniently located just opposite the station entrance. The brownies were perfect, lots of choice, good ingredients, and just the right size - to allow you to share and sample a few of the different varieties. Although the food was excellent, the thing that I absolutely loved the most was the ambience - it was great when early and not many people there, and great once it had filled up around lunchtime. I loved the open decor and plenty of windows. Although it was a stormy day, it was light and perfect for watching the world go round. The owner was an amazing and wonderful guy. It really was nice to have a little chat and hear about his story. He and his staff created a wonderful environment. I'll be sure to visit again next time I'm back in my old home town.

Best coffee I had in years and I think I developed a brownie addiction! The cherry one is a bite of heaven!! Dimitris is very friendly and very professional!

First of all it’s all about the Brownie’s they are the best quality in town! Gluten Free. Natural ingredients and in a variety of flavours. I love a brownie and a great coffee. Since coming to this cafe I’ve found an added bonus! A fun loving and friendly cafe. The staff are always welcoming and it’s a place where you can go alone or with friends. I’ve met many of the regulars and leave there always satisfied. The manager of this store brings an energy to this community like no other around. He has the power to engage all like minded people and create a much needed vibe to the area.

Do not be deceived by the slightly hidden shop-front. The cafe is absolutely lovely in every way. A real community hub-the owner Dimitri and his staff are so friendly and welcoming! Child-friendly, dog-friendly, LGBT friendly-what can I say? These guys are friendly 😆 The shop is really comfortable and nicely decorated, and I know the owner plans to build upon this too. It’s also spotlessly clean. It has a a home-away-from-home vibe, in that you can spend all day here , with no pressure from staff to buy more drinks etc. Delicious Brownies and a great selection of food and drinks, as well as gifts to buy. It initially seems pricey-£3 for one small Brownie, however, they are so rich that you get two portions out of it. I have never eaten such a deliciously dense dessert in my life lol. Two suggested improvements: it’s a bit chilly, despite heating being on full-wack. Time to add some double glazing to the windows? In terms of food, a couple of salads would be good for lunch, and some sugar-free syrups. But all in all-fantastic ☺️ Excited that I have a new local, where the staff actually provide good customer service. Harris and Hoole and the other independent cafe just around the corner are so hostile and rude!

You almost fall over this place when exiting Southgate tube station so it is very handily located. The specialty is artisan brownies made in Yorkshire. I remember the site as an empty shop for years. It was really grotty. Has been transformed into a bright welcoming coffee shop which also does light meals. We enjoyed our coffee, tea and brownie and will return when in the area.

I visit a lot of coffee shops and this is simply the best one in Southgate. In spite of its busy location it is calm and peaceful inside, very clean and stylish, the brownies and coffee are amazing!! Anyone needing a coffee in Southgate must visit, its much better than any of the other dated or chain coffee shops around.

Just been there with my son - amazing place. Immaculately clean, nice background music very good brownies BUT - the thing that made the place outstanding was the staff. The young girl that served us and the young man that assisted us were amazing. I wish there were more places with such customer service. Will definitely be back, well done great job!
