There was a football game on so it was very noisy, but other than that the Thai food was yummy and the staff were pleasant.

We were here at a private function, we supplied a sweet cart for our customers, and the food supplied was excellent. The staff were very friendly, very spacious, worth a visit.

I thought the food was good but the service took a bit longer than usual, the staff weren't to chatty as they just gave my food and walked away, no words said. The atmosphere was a bit underwealming, no music playing and when wating for my food I got a bit bored. But 3 stars for me as all I really care about was the food, and that was the best bit of the night.

If you give this place anything short of 5 stars, I'd recommend you stick to spoons. They are doing everything a bar/restaurant should and more. I love they have introduced Thai food to their kitchen. It was so fresh and well prepared it took away the stresses of a double shift and aloud me to get some much needed respite between jobs and I felt super recharged not fat and sluggish like most places leave you when you ate as much as we did lol.. I'll be back once again!

Went this evening for Mother's Day and Layla who works there made our evening. What an absolute lovely lady she is a true treasure to the place. Couldn't do enough for us and super friendly. The food is lovely and so fresh cannot fault it at all. Definitely be returning frequently.

Staff members take drugs and illicit substances here. If they try to deny it, I have video and photo proof. This is now a police matter. They have zero regard for their customers. Avoid this place.

Been here several times now and always had great food, a chill/calm atmosphere, and great service. It's also one of the few places in the area when I feel very safe as a woman and would happily go on my own. Lovely outside space too so perfect for summer

Went in with a pal after visiting St Cuthberts, the local parish church up the road. Had a lovely lunch served by a wonderful, attentive team. We received 30% off food and complimentary mint tea with our dessert. We ordered a lamb burger, cheese burger, sweet potato fries and curly fries. All the food was exceptional with great portion sizes. We were so impressed by the customer service. We have now been a couple of times to this restaurant in the last few months and all of the above seems to be consistent. Strong chance this will be our new regular. Portions Very small and expensive for portion size. Food was not cold when it was eventually brought out. Absolutely gutted as this was my mother's day meal and it was ruined.

Such a great place to eat with friends and family and a very chilled environment. Outside seating is amazing also has heating and good music.

Very slow kitchen service, the waiting staff were friendly and had good customer service. The food was not good at all, the rice tasted old and then debated with me about this issue, they did provide a refund for the rice. The lamb chops were ok. Not worth the money, i would advise to go elsewhere for a Turkish meal.

Lovely place, nice food, and perfect to watch the World Cup. They even have a dance floor with music and all! If it hadn't been so cold, I would have enjoyed it more. It was seriously cold, although the heaters were on. I will go back when the weather warms up.

We sat outside in the heated bit which was lovely both members of staff went above and beyond to make are vist special, the food was a bit pricey and was quite small we ordered the calami and the tempora pawns as mains and it was more of starter size oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️

Feels like a bizarre mix of pub, restaurant and lounge - not necessarily a bad mix but definitely a bit different from usual. The beer selection is limited - food is largely middle eastern mezze. Quality of food was neither good or bad but ok. Quite empty even though we went on a Friday evening. I guess it is in a very residential area after all. Quite a large covered outside area - which would be a godsend to smokers in the coming winter. Service was really nice though - staff are friendly **edit: owner's passive aggressive response to this review has made this last point moot - would not go back to a place with such management: -1 from a 2 to 1. Don't usually list things I disliked in an establishment unless I think the place is horrendous and should be avoided by everyone as my intentions are not to damage their business but to provide information for people - everyone can have a different preference - as for me i 'disliked it' as the two stars denote. Didn't 'hate it' (1 star) but now I do.

I can’t believe I have lived here for so long and only just found this little gem. Randomly walked past this evening walking the dog and wondered why it looked so empty as the menu looked great. Tested a takeaway, and I’m sat here eating it now genuinely thinking it’s one of the best shish/kofta kebabs I’ve ever eaten. It’s delicious. Super lovely staff who as well who chatted to me whilst I waited. Shisha lounge at the back too. Good deco and looks like a great place to have a drink with friends. Will return for sure. This place deserves significantly more footfall. I won’t be bothering to go all the way down green lanes for a good Turkish now I know this is here.

I can’t understand why this place is so expensive. We spent nearly £9 for 5 small wings. No good value for money :(

Such a brilliant and chilled vibe here. It is absolutely great. Food is lovely and cocktails are on point. They have an outdoor area which is lovely and a shisha area. Staff are amazing in here - friendly, can have a chat and a laugh with them, and down to earth. Would 100% recommend.

I am a local and I love this place, it’s a gem in the area and I want to see it succeed! Beautiful cozy pub serving Turkish food and shisha. I love the chilli and garlic sauce and bread that comes with the food. Great drinks and the staff are really friendly. I tried to watch Arsenal play Nottingham Forest the other day and unfortunately I was informed they no longer show football which was a shame, meaning we had to go to The Occasional Half down the road. If I could offer The Bird Lounge any feedback it would be to keep the jazz on, it makes it relaxing to be in there eating and drinking and makes it easier to talk - ditch the commercial house music and pop with lyrics, not the right place for it. Also, turn off the TVs when there isn’t any sport or events on, it just detracts from the atmosphere - I’d rather spend time with my friends than look at rolling YouTube footage. With these minor changes I’ll keep returning as a regular local, bringing my family and friends with me!

Great Turkish food (incl good vegetarian options), cocktails (at least based on their margaritas) and friendly service. Nice decor and big covered outdoor area.

We were disappointed with our meal having chosen as recommended burger meals it was not for us, they may have been near their sell by date. I also have to say to discover that the burger had Turkey rasher and not bacon as advertised wasn’t great, I think this should be pointed out to anyone ordering. The Calamari didn’t look anything like the portion displayed on the website. Food was luke warm but lots of extra bread and dips was good. On the up side the waitress was very friendly. Maybe we made the wrong choices.

The food here is totally awesome all freshly cooked and the home made chilli salsa dip is a must!!!!! Staff very friendly and welcoming , its a lovely place to eat and drink.

Been here a few times. Service and food never disappoints.Food is reasonably priced and large portions. Cocktails are well made and delicious. Very attentive and welcoming staff. The place is big and pretty, following one way Covid system. It has a covered terrace and outside area too. It's a restaurant and food was OK. Started are better than mains. In terms of cocktails, I was surprised about not having Pimm's, disappointing in England in summer. There are however, many mocktails.

01/07/21 - Unfortunately my most recent visit was a massive downgrade from 5 months ago. it still sparkles and shines, but standard of food was extremely disappointing. Appears to be under the same management as 5 months ago. Will no doubt be back, hopefully I can reinstate the 5 stars and it was just a one off.The staff were very pleasant and attentive. But it's got to be all about the food at those prices. Have just noticed they do deliveries with Just Eat. Another great place to eat, bites the dust. Absolutely the best takeaway food ever. Fresh salad, that pleases the eye as well as the taste buds. Rice, fresh, tasty and no pool of grease at the bottom 9f the container. Their Adana kebab is the best i have ever had and portions are huge. Cannot wait for them to open again. A true Oasis in Palmers Green

Great food, always! Had shisha a few times, which is great as well. Service is ok, can be a little slow even when not busy. Is pricey for what it is and where it is located. Overall great food and ambience.

The staff was very welcoming from when you step into the place. Sadly my friend and I was unable to try the shish because of the government guidelines but we was able to have something to drink and eat. We shared the mix starter and had 2 mocktails. We was very happy with the whole experience. I didn't take any pictures only videos of the food
