A delightful experience from the start to finish. Greeted with warmth from the owner Ozzy, Great choice of options on their menu with all day dining. Coffee could be the best around North London, served to perfection.

Lovely catch-up lunch with friends. Sat outside which was nice. The chicken wrap was delicious and came with a salad. The others had the bacon omelette and the avocado and chicken wrap. All was lovely and reasonably priced.

In a great location near Southgate station and just across the road from the Premier Inn. I had the Mediterranean Breakfast, the food was so fresh and tasty. The Chai Latte was possibly the best I’ve had. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Stopped at this cafe on the way to visit our daughter who recently moved to the area. Friendly staff, excellent food. I had the Canadian breakfast, what’s not to love about salted bacon and sweetness of the syrup on pancakes. The wife had the chicken Caesar salad, although it was and I quote ‘it was bloody lovely’ and the combination of spices on the chicken gave it an unexpected lift, she was defeated and couldn’t finish it all. The toilets were spotless Will definitely drop in again , next time we are down this way.

I arrived early in Palmers Green for a meeting and decided to stop in at Chunk of Green for a quick coffee. Very reasonable price. Lovely cappucino coffee with a heart shape pattern in the frothy milk on top and service with a smile. What's not to like?! ... oh and toilet was spotless.

I was on a short theatre break and was staying at Southgate Premier Inn. I generally avoid lukewarm bland hotel buffet breakfasts and enjoy seeking out local independent cafes instead. Ashfield Parade is an extremely easy find for Premier Inn guests and there were five cafes on this road to choose from. In any case it is within a stone's throw of the tube which was handy as I had around an hour to spare before making my way back to Kings Cross. The decor is only average but the owner was very pleasant and it is a nice spot to watch the world go by. I ordered the lighter English breakfast for £7 which was very good value. Everything was nicely cooked and presented. This option includes sausage, bacon, fried egg, mushroom. half a tomato, beans and a slice of buttered toast. A larger version is available for £9. To drink I had fresh orange juice which was pressed on the premises. A good find.

A really nice place - great food, simply done, friendly atmosphere, good service and great to support local business! The sandwiches are great, the soup is very good (according to my wife), the kids love the maple syrup pancakes!

I have visited this cafe many times, it is a home from home, serves the best Mexican in Town with the best service and hospitiality that I have experienced in a while.

How easy it is to lose a customer. Not terribly busy when we visited, but after 45 minutes and two coffees, the food had not made an appearance. After drawing this to the waitresse's attention, one of our plates arrived. The second arrived a couple of minutes later (overdone) but 3rd still missing in action. Finally arrived but clearly had been sitting under hot area for some time. Waiting staff really not experienced enough to deal with this situation, and owner disappeared tout-suite. Seems they have over-reached themselves if they cannot deal with so few orders
