Love this place the food is very fresh and amazing The Sandwiches with fries...OMG amazing and very filling

My first visit on a Saturday during the summer was not impressive. After waiting for over twenty minutes to give my order I gave up, left and went elsewhere. When my friends suggested we go there for lunch a few weeks ago I wasn't over enthusiastic, but four of us went on a Monday and I was impressed. The service was good, the food was REALLY nice and when one of our party asked for something not on the menu they accommodated her without a problem. The food was good value for money I thought and I will definitely return. I haven't been back on a Saturday yet but I will do in case my first experience was a one off. It was VERY busy there on the Saturday I went and considerably quieter when we went on a Monday so I don't know if that's why it was so much better on the Monday? Overall, I like the place and would recommend it.

Ok I only had a cappuccino but it was very nice. Coffee was really tasty, good strength and presented beautifully with a leaf pattern in the foam and choc sprinkled tastefully on one side of the foam. I would have taken a pic, but I was only here because my phone is in repair in the shop opposite. The staff were very welcoming even though I was just getting a coffee and if I find myself with half hour to kill in Southgate again I'm sure I'll pop in.

Super friendly! Staff was welcoming and super easy Menu to read and order from. Food was fresh and tasty. I would recommend and go back with friends.

Food was ok, server very good. Unfortunately there was a group of men at another table having a loud conversation with a lot of swearing. Nobody bothered to speak to them about this. Also, the table we were given was completely sticky.

Visited with family as my son was wanting to eat grilled octopus. The food and the presentation was gorgeous and our waiter was attentive and extremely kind with my little niece. Look forward to going back.

Been here lots of times and never had a bad experience. Food is terrific and good value, service is super - friendly and welcoming, the decor is lovely. Whether you're coming for lunch, dinner or a pot of tea, you're made to feel welcome and valued. I've been back time and again, and will continue to do so. NB: It's a family venue, so can be a little noisy during the afternoons.

It’s a great place to visit. I always enjoy eating at Rumours, the food and staff are always on point. Whether it’s just a coffee with friends or full on food Rumours does disappoint.

Probably the best bistro in Southgate now.Great atmosphere, exquisite food and excellent service.We have been many times, and the standard never drops.A good cosmopolitan crowd across all ages gather here - a taste of the Mediterranean in North London.You will not be disappointed.

Second time here. Was lucky enough to be treated by a friend so made the visit even more enjoyable. Ordered the salad nicoise which was delicious. My friend had the omelette which she enjoyed. Service is very good and portions are generous. My new fave place conveniently located near Southgate tube and loads of buses. Perfect.

Venue booked for a choir do and it was a brilliant night. We had the whole place and it was beautifully decorated. Very helpful and polite staff. We had a meze dinner which was all good. Lots of food finished with a lovely dessert. They moved some tables which allowed us to dance for a good couple of hours. Very close to Southgate tube so convenient for transport etc. Seemed to be a regular haunt for some of our members. Would go there again and highly recommend.

I have to say we had an amazing night last night, Neo was extremely welcoming and lovely from the moment we walked in, staff were attentive polite and nothing was too much trouble for them, the food service and the restaurant was perfect and the entertainment was spot on, we didn’t stop dancing.
