Service was a little slow at points but they were setting up for Valentine’s Day so it’s not as if they were ignoring customers at all. Food was amazing, and the staff were very accommodating for bringing a baby along.

This Italian restaurant is more expensive than some west end Italian restaurants. 😗Spaghetti Bolognese shot up in price from £10.90- £15.90 in the last couple of years and the portion sizes have got smaller, aswell as all the Pasta dishes.🤨

Celebrating new year eve with my family. Food was excellent, staff very welcoming and friendly ( especially reception lady), atmosphere was brilliant. Overall, very organised restaurant to have in southgate.

We came from Spain( Gran Canaria) and we really love the way we were attended and above all fresh food they serve to us I frankly recommend this place!

We booked as a team for our end of year social, we loved it. The cocktails were delicious, food portions were generous and the staff were extremely attentive. We will definitely be booking again, as there were lots of other dishes available to try but we can only eat so much in one sitting. A great evening was had by all.

The pizzas were large and tasty. Tue welcome was warm. There was a good atmosphere as there were a few birthdays going on! Great not to be in a chain restaurant (I think that is the case!)

The starters were lively the burrata was amazing so so fresh we loved it we wished the portion of calamari was a bit bigger but also tasted really good. The pizza was a thin crust but again portion was a bit small we ended up ordering chicken mushroom creamy pasta as well (the plate was bigger than the food itself) we would return now that we know what’s worth ordering (all the fabulous starters!!!). Decent Italian food served here. I took a pasta dish which was cooked al dente and the sauce was flavourful. The staff was efficient. Nothing special in terms of the dining experience. You sit, order, eat and leave. No fuss.

Really delicious food with generous portion sizes. Staff are always so excellent with our child too and whilst it was quiet (eating early) we still had an excellent overall experience.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the chefs making pizza, good atmosphere lots of families and couples. Food was top quality, starters are a little overpriced but the mains are worth it. Highly recommend.

When my mum lived in Winchmore Hill I’d come here regularly with her and my brother. I booked here for a friend’s birthday. The food was delicious and the service friendly as always. If I lived closer I’d come here more regularly as there’s also a great atmosphere.

Not a bad place but still not the best for sure. Service was super slow and I do understand it’s busy but also every time we tried to get the bill to pay and go as we were in hurry they kept ignoring us or saying “coming soon”. Waited more than 20 minutes. The good wasn’t great but for sure not the best Italian I’ve tried. The atmosphere is good but got super crowded and noisy basically.

Awful atmosphere, not made to feel welcome, no warmth extended to our party of 13 patrons, food nothing special for the money paid. We removed the service charge as felt there was no decent service! Will not recommend or visit again.

Been twice, had Pizza each time as they have a pizza oven and pizza chef near the entrance; however the pizzas were each time too wet for my taste: too much tomato sauce, too much cheese all leading to a very soggy base. Must say could do better there for my taste. I haven't tried any other dishes, my wife had non-pizza dishes and liked them.

Ordered via uber eats 1x bbq pizza, 1x lasagna delta and 1x melanzane alla parmigiana., Pizza (as for italian restaurant) totally dissapointed, please see photo., taste was fine, no argue, but meat and other stuff over half of pizza only is a joke., also I would not expect bbq sauce to be poured over the pizza as a ketchup, this is derating it is italian restaurant., and if bbq sauce over it is making it as bbq pizza thats another joke., Lasagna was very nice, But melanzane alla parmigiana it was ironed to the bottom of the tin box as they wrapped this way, Heavy box of lasagna on top of and in the box of melanzane alla parmigiana,, adding photos., Staff should pay attention also to orders going out from restaurant, hence I rating service with one star., Atmosphere doesnt really apply, but there is no option to skip it., Doesnt meet expectation at all., Anyway we contacted Uber Eats to deal with this issue

Food ok but service dreadful. Waited over an hour for our second course and that was only because we called them over. Not that busy. Asked for water never came. Ordered Florentine pizza. Egg was raw as whites were not cooked. Tried to tell me that this is how they come even though others had theirs perfectly done. Came over at 9.50 to say kitchen shuts in 10, but avoided any contact with us so we couldn’t order. Will not go there again

The food was lovely , but the servers are laughing the blonde one she’s been acting rude I waited for long time that she would notice me , the service is awful, I don’t recommend to go to eat in , take away is the best thing , the restaurant that it was before and now it’s awful

Food was great, the staff helpful and friendly. The restaurant can get a little loud when busy but that's to be expected. I'd highly recommend. The house red is yummy too BTW.

The waiter in the black shirt who greeted us at the entrance was extremely rude to us. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant, it is just not worth the money I paid. The pizza was good, but with the behavior of such a waiter, customers will definitely not come here..

Three years ago, I gave Fantozzi Southgate a five star review. I went for the first time in a long time yesterday (Sept 2021) and it's even better now than it was then. I've been to this restaurant tens of times and it's always fabulous. The service is absolutely superb, the staff could not be more helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. The menu is large, and everything my friends and I have had there (a lot!) is perfect. SO FRESH, and beautifully cooked and presented. The decor is dark wood and brick, lots of nooks, perfect for an intimate two or a large party. Can get a bit loud if there are a couple of parties on. A local fave. Love it. Go!

The pizza was good but the service was very very bad, it was like they were "expecting us to eat and leave as soon as possible", I won't go there again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

This evening we went to eat pizza with my children, but my son does not like pizza and we bought sushi for him to eat there and when we went to the restaurant, the waiter sat us down at the table in an extremely arrogant manner and took the order, and did not say anything about my son's food. After we started eating the pizza, he came to us and said " "Don't come with sushi," !!!. My son doesn't eat pizza. What should we do? Shouldn't we eat it too??? I have never seen such an arrogant and rude attitude!! I was so shocked that my daughter said, "I'm so sorry I came to eat pizza, mom." We were there around 3:30 in the afternoon, we sat at the table right in front of the bar, there was a camera in front of us, you can check it from there!!.. I will never go again and I definitely do not recommend it..

The pizza was the best ever I have eaten in the UK which makes you feel like it was from Italy. I probably will try the other options next time. Drinks menu could be detailed as I can’t see the beers’ sizes.

We ordered 1/2 metre pizza takeaway, the quality of the pizza was very dissappointing, very flat dough hardly enough topping and price of £29, we are not going to use this place again, things have changed!

A must try if you're in the area, traditional pizza and pasta restaurant which has been running for a long time. We had the half metre pizza and shared it between 3 of us. The ambience and staff are lovely. Will come again soon for sure.

The seafood pasta was not great. Tasted nice but the mussels & clams shells were mostly empty. Not enough pasta either. Veal dish & cod dish very nice

Very noisy. After a long day at work, the last thing you want to hear is screaming children. We requested to be moved which was better. The music could be a little softer as you shouting to ha e conversation. Overall great service amd lovely food.

First visit. Located near Asda Southgate. Friendly service and polite staff. Traditional decor inside and clean toilets too. As there were six of us, staff decided to move us to a more comfortable table, very accommodating. For starters, we ordered the garlic bread, fried calamari, breaded mushrooms. The kids had spaghetti bolognese £7 each, homemade lasagne £12.90, spinach and ricotta ravioli and prawn tagliatelle. We also ordered the garlic broccoli as a side which was cooked perfectly, although the garlic could have been stronger. The homemade lasagne portion didn't seem very substantial but it did taste flavoursome. The virgin mojito was lovely too. Would definitely like visit again. They even surprised my friend's daughter with a candle on her birthday cupcake and sang Happy birthday!!

It had been a while since visiting Fantozzi again , for a birthday celebration . The food in our view is excellent and we tried a new dish for us , the fish soup...highly recommended. The atmosphere is something we enjoy at Fantozzi with a warm , homely feel. The waiters are very pleasant and helpful . However, on this visit we found the waiting for service at certain points very frustrating, despite the restaurant being under half full. Menu , drinks and placing order were fine but we were left with main courses on the table and no cutlery . We waited and waited and in the end had to ask. The wait for a desert menu was far too long , as it was clear that we had all finished for some while. Another wait followed after receiving the bill. I had to go to the bar counter before it was realised we wanted to pay , having played with my bright red debit card between my fingers at the table for quite a while. The service during previous visits has been exemplary , so we are putting this one down as a 'bad hair day' , and plan to visit again for the next birthday !

The smell of delicious food hits you as you enter the door. The servers were very attentive and accomidating. Incredibly reasonably priced for the excellent standard of food. We will definitely be back!

The audacity of this restaurant amazes me. Ordered a steak which was clearly cooked from frozen and over cooked. Even though i asked for medium/well. When i questioned it with the manager he told me, with his versace attitude they cant go back from well to medium anymore. In other words; "thats what your getting". Typical. My pizza came late. Which was, this time undercooked with hardly any toppings i paid extra for. I wish i read the reviews before visiting. Absolute joke of an establishment and service! I could have got a better steak for a quarter of the price from harvester and a much better pizza from papa john's. I wish i went Kervan down the road. Quality food and quality service there. I would steer clear from these jokers after reading this. Or, if you dont believe me just go and see for yourself.
