We ordered food for a family anniversary. They could not have been nicer. The food was smashing. If you want a real family run Spanish meal, don't go anywhere else

Great place for some Spanish food. The tapas I ordered were great - croquetas de la casa ( the small portion of salad that goes with it was so tasty) and Carillera Artesana de Teruel - slow cooked wild boar served on a bed of chips & paprika. Much better than most places you find out there that serve dry and flavourless. This place is awesome - the service was quick, polite and very accommodating.

Great food, authenticate cuisine with traditional Spanish tapas. We had a selection of seafood, sardines, mussels, octopus and was all amazing. The service is excellent and served quickly and overall very food value for money. Thanks Miguel and team!

First time ordered it was nice but muscles were cold and not much quantity for 2 persons for the price

Highly recommended. If you’re after amazing, authentic tapas, a chilled out atmosphere and attentive and friendly staff then this is the place for you. We enjoyed a wonderful meal here. Recommend the whitebait, calamari and meatballs. Can’t wait to come back soon!

a great authentic Tapas restaurant. Me and my friend are here for a gig and found this place by chance and could not be happier, the food was really well priced plus extremely good!! Miguel was a great host would recommend to anyone.

My partner and I had a meal here in October and it was brilliant. The food was amazing. I am not a massive fan of seafood, but we had the seafood paella and all of it was excellent. The service was very quick (drinks & food) and very attentive. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The décor was suited the style of the restaurant and bar and the place was clean, it also had a great atmosphere. It is on a main high street; so parking is a bit of a pain, but worth it. I did notice a sign that said 'toilet are for customers only', I appreciate your in a high foot fall area (near a station), however I am/and know people with medical conditions this always makes be feel a bit negative. Other than that highly recommended.

What an amazing place! The staff are absolutely perfection, they are funny, nice and make you feel so at home .. and the food, ahh the food is beautiful we can’t wait to come back and eventually get through the whole menu! Juan (waiter) is the best waiter there is! He was funny sweet and made us feel like we knew him for years! What a wonderful man!

We went to La Paella for a birthday party with 30 guests, Miguel was extremely helpful in the lead up and made sure we had everything we needed. On the night, the whole team were lovely and very attentive, considering how many of us there were. Atmosphere was brilliant and the food was excellent too. Highly recommend for a party or a dinner/lunch for just a few.

Visited twice of the weekend. First had a couple of tapas (which are very generous portions) followed by a meat paella. Excellent paella, properly cooked do all the juices had been absorbed by the rice. Packed with meat too. Second time shared 5 tapas plates and were absolutely full! Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff - gent served on Saturday, young lady on Sunday. Both excellent, efficient, attentive.

We had a selection of tapas and paella for the main course, which were better than expected, especially the freshness of the ingredients, truly delicious!

If you are a fan of Spanish food, then look no further. The food, service, atmosphere, and staff are all fantastic. An authentic restaurant that makes you feel like you are in Spain. The music is excellent, and the Tapas lunch deal is highly recommended. Remember, miss it, miss out!

In a nutshell - characterful decor, friendly service, good food, good wine, reasonable prices. A winning combination! A good restaurant to eat at with friends/ significant other and share small tapas plates. I didn't try the paella but can say the tapas is delicious. A good selection of vegetarian (and some vegan) options clearly highlighted on the menu. I especially loved the patatas bravas, the braised spinach, and the cumin chickpeas.

Went there for my birthday dinner (23/9/23 date) with husband and kids. Absolutely gorgeous food and the man who served us helped my 8yr old practice his Spanish too! Lovely restaurant and brilliant food

I went on a Thursday at 1pm, this was a good time to go for me as it was more quiet. I was impressed with the food and was happy that what we wanted was available. The service was good. The food was high quality, fresh, tasty and the portion sizes were big enough. I especially enjoyed the fresh octopus. Was happy with the prices. I can see why this place survived the pandemic. Hope to go back with more family next time.

This is the best tapas restaurant to go to I live in Tottenham and the restaurant there are not great so I recommend this place

Nice little independent Spanish restaurant - in a unassuming location from the outside but quite cosy and the decor inside makes it feel like a little bit of Spain. A selection of tasty tapas followed by sharing a Paella de Casa, all food was cooked well and authentic. Good selection of reasonably priced Spanish wines. I'd say 4.5 stars for the food but it gets rounded up because of the atmosphere, friendly service and it is just the sort of small independent restaurant that should be supported!

Best place to eat spanish food. The staff are really friendly especially the waitress who was very helpful. Great selection of wines. its a must whilst you are in southgate. cant wait to go again.

Excellent tapas. The slow cooked wild boar really stood out as well as the octopus but everything was of an excellent quality. Very decent chap who runs it too: great to chat too and friendly with our kids.

Had dinner with my son here a month ago....amazing food! I'm half Spanish and it made me feel I was back home. Good value Can't wait for them to reopen ❤️

Highly disappointed with the food and the service. The tapas we ordered were not at all fresh, any taste and some clearly came from frozen. We complained and manager did not seem to care about our bad experience, was even gonna charge us for everything. On top of all that, he even accused us of eating for free. Extremely unhappy with this experience.

As the begining they have huge "coffee" banner. I bought there coffee for takeaway. Just no comment... I have asked for latte, guy thought that this is a beer... wait 5 minutes for him to actually get informations from someone from the back probably how to make this coffee... He started to do it and burn the milk at first. Pour very long 2 shots of espresso - it was half cup, top up 1/4 with hot WATER and eventually add this "bit" of burned milk on top. It was hotter than extra hot drink I have ever drink in the past. Close the cup with too big lid and I got burn with this terrible hot coffee that spill out first step I made outside. Charged 7.90£ for 2 of them... I dont even know why I have paid and let him sell that to me. Straight after I went to the shop around the corner and bought milk, pour out half of it to actually drink it and don't waste... Worst experience ever, never be back again. I was too angry to go back and ask for a refund. Edit: I wasnt in the wrong place, its area I know very well. Its very sticky to try mingle with peoples opinions, just get your staff proper training how to makea coffee. I have a bill in my pocket but I wont be as rude to post it with my review.

Was pleasantly surprised as it was a long time since I last dined here. We had a lovely meal and the dishes were fresh and tasty. Don't be put off if there aren't many diners as it is worth a try.

I had a takeaway Seafood Paella from La Paella Tapas Bar, Southgate in N14, Southgate. I am super satisfied with the authentic Seafood Paella as what was recommended by others. My husband and I will definitely go back to EAT IN when I have more time. Thanks so much for your service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had lunch here today with my boyfriend and I've tasted the Paella for the first time in my life: it's delicious! We ordered a paella for 2 people and they gave us a very big and rich portion of rice with seafood and chicken. We also ordered some garlic bread and tomato bread, which was so good! I really suggest this place to everyone who is looking for something different, and wants to try something new! The owner of this restaurant is a very kind and polite guy. Prices are very convenient. Thank you so much for this amazing lunch!

The best spanish restaurant in London.

Very lovely, cosy small restaurant. The Tapas are great. Paella is very good. Sangria went perfectly with the dishes. You can feel the friendliness of a family long-time business.

Just enjoyed an incredible meal thanks to this amazing restaurant, I had the paella marinera to take away .... and asked for chorizo to be included at a cost which I was happy to pay because the meal was beautiful, when I lifted the lid on the huge paella it steamed with heat, and the colours were mouth watering, 5 stars... wish I could give them 10 !!!

The chorizo, white beans and meatballs were delicious. We ordered the wild boar and what we received matched the image of the slow cooked medallions of beef on their website 🤔 it was very nice, but not what we ordered. The garlic prawns are the reason this isn’t a 5 star review as they weren’t prepared well still had poo in them 😞 However we shall return!

Close enough to bring back memories of food back in Spain. I'd definitely go back!

Delicious Spanish food with Excellent service.

Went there with some friends a few weeks ago, the food was very nice apart from the salad which it got lots of sand in... It's lovely apart from that.

A real gem of a restaurant. We knew nothing about it but we’re staying in the area and thought we’d give it a try. I’m so glad we did. Gorgeous food, great service and very friendly staff. Absolutely top notch tapas bar. We will be back next time we’re in London.

There are certain cuisines that are really hard to replicate authentically. I always thought Spanish food and in particular, Tapas, was one of them. Until I discovered La Paella. Traditional, delicious and yes, authentic! You can easily forget you are in North London and imagine yourself in beautiful Spain. Highly recommend.

Lunch with a party of four, the tapas dishes were fresh and indulgent, the quality is good, nice atmosphere and great location close to the station. Recommended.

Really disappointed with our meal here, this restaurant had the same quality of my school dinners... the paella was overcooked, chicken was dry and contained bones, calamari was bland and the croquetas had barely any chicken and were clearly had been cooked from frozen. Expressed our concerns to the manager/owner and he didn't seem to care for our feedback or apologetic...next time I'll take it as a sign when a restaurant is empty.

Visited for lunch and bitterly disappointed. Rice was overcooked, chicken was dry & still contained bones, patatas bravas tasted off and the croquettes were bland. I was convinced the croquettes themselves had come out of a freezer bag. Honest feedback given to Owner/Manager who frankly didn’t care that we’d not had a good experience, wasn’t willing to resolve any of the problems and simply kept repeating that he “sells a lot of the dishes” and therefore doesn’t understand why we didn’t like the food. Hard to believe when the restaurant was completely empty for a Sunday afternoon. Poor customer experience, poor food & overall disappointing experience.

A really friendly quaint little restaurant that we felt really welcomed by the staff. The tapas portions were bigger than than most places we have been before. Only negative was no music or similar playing as that would have completed a perfect night out with my partner. Looking at the paella being served that may have to be a treat for our next visit. Found by accident and was not disappointed, a really friendly, family run authentic restaurant. Nice to see a slight different take on regional dishes which were delicious. The paella was packed full of delicious ingredients and certainly was more than enough for 2 😋😋😋 The staff were all approachable and friendly, certainly cant wait to see when they have flamenco on. Thank you for a great experience and look forward to seeing you again

The paella rice was like plastic, there were hardly any ingredients in the vegetable paella apart from peas and broad beans and there was a horrible bitter flavour. The worst of paella dishes so far in north London.

This happened a few weeks ago but I feel I need to share this experience incase it happens to someone else, i went in and asked if I could sit at the bar and the owner came and said abruptly no I said ok what time do you close? At this point he became a bit aggressive and said what are you gonna sit here all night??! I said I was simply asking a question, at this point I decided to leave. But it ruined my day and I will never go back in there again. Which is ironic since I used to eat there all the time.

We are an East Asian family, taking the opportunity of Eat Out to Help Out scheme by venturing our local neighbourhood trying all the restaurants. After months of lockdown the atmosphere of this cosy restaurant made me feel we were on holiday back in Spain, which I very much missed. I called to book a table and despite the restaurant was understandably very busy due to the scheme, the owner was friendly and accommodating and still managed to find us a good table. We ordered a selection of tapas, a few mains. I was pleasantly surprised that they have the black paella on the menu as not many Spanish restaurants in London has this dish available (not in all the restaurants I’ve been to anyway). The food was freshly made. I very much enjoyed my Sangria, the calamari tapas was great and the Paella tasted amazing! It exceeded my expectations with fresh fish and clean mussels, even my picky partner was impressed. I wanted to order the churros but we were too full. I don’t know why we did not try this place before, maybe because I wrongly assumed the best Spanish cuisine was in Spain! So yes, I recommend this place and will return. Food was ok but our waiter an old man was basically rushing us to order with a stinky attitude. When the bill arrived, my sister and I wanted to split the bill which was well over £10 each (it's part of the Amex scheme which will credit us £5 back each if we use separate cards). Our waiter was so rude and impatient and said it has to be a minimum spend of £20 per card and when we tried to explain he wouldn't listen and kept saying why we didn't understand and what our problem was. I verified this with American Express who said this was ridiculous and a minimum spend is not £20. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The waiter obviously lied and didn't care about customer service....

Excellent food and service only slightly spoiled b the potatoes not arriving until all the meat dishes had been consumed. I know that is a British preference but more of the food at the same time would ha made it 5 stars

Great stuff. One of the sauces popped open and made a bit of a mess, so might be worth thinking about better pots but great food.

The food was quite bland. It didn’t taste bad but I probably wouldn’t order again. The bread was just half a granary loaf wrapped in foil and some of the food (e.g. the tortilla) seemed pre made, maybe even bought in rather than made at the restaurant.

We had a Lockdown delivery last night of Paella and selected Tapas. Arrived promptly and was delicious. Just what we needed. You should try it and phone direct as this helps Miguel at this difficult time.

Great restaurant with great food. I always try something different and am never disappointed. Last night I had a delivery and it was just as good as sitting in. Friendly service in the restaurant, I've been there in a group of 20+ and they served us politely and promptly.

Very Cousy place, friendly staff, it was a busy Friday night but service was excellent! Food was very good too. I just find the wine a bit expensive, it was good though.
