Akar Kebabs in Enfield

I ordered a lamb doner with chips and coke via their website. The food was amazing, one of the best lamb doners I’ve ever had, comes with a generous side salad. Arrived earlier than expected, great service and great food. I wish this place was near where I live but next time I’m in Enfield I’ll definitely be ordering again.

I ordered £45 of kebab and chips with bottle of coke 😋 only to realise the coke was tastless and flat. When I checked the bottle it had turkish orijinal tat written on it. This experience has ruined my take away. I don't think I will order again from Akar kebab. This is london I expect coca cola not some Turkish tastless flat coke.. If I could give 0 stars i would. Not good..

Not very happy, the main man seems very angry and aggressive, doesn’t smile at all just looks at you in an angry manner. When he walked into serve us he has no manners to say excuse me he prefers to just barge through and looks at me as if he wants to beat me up. Secondly, once I went into devour the food I realised the donner box has many holes as if a rat has chewed on it and I wouldn’t even be surprised as the cleanliness of the place didn’t look good. The can of drink which I received was dirty so wasn’t happy as I wanted to drink it on the go and the only thing I could use to clean it was tissue which isn’t very hygienic. Furthermore, they are stingy with sauce and donner and the food wasn’t even that good very oily the donner was turned off and looked like it was just sitting there for a while. Not a good experience, don’t recommend better of walking down the street a bit more for a better kebab shop.

I order Food for a Family of 4 every Friday night. I have never had a bad meal every thing is freshly cook and on time....this has been my local Kebab for over 25 years.

Disgusting food - the chips and salad were incredibly dry. the pita bread and shish was soaked in ketchup and made it unappetising . While calling to complain, the manager was extremely rude and did not listen to what i was trying to say.

Do not waste your money ordering food from here. It was my first order from Akar, and I will never buy food from here again. The food was well below standard. The chips were stale and cold, the shish was a measly portion, and the pitta bread was soaked in ketchup. When I called to complain, the manager was ignorant and rude and accused me of "trying to get something for free". Poor service. Very disappointed with this place. Disgusting food, disgusting service, dishwasher attitude to customers.

The hospitality from the place it's unbelievable welcoming when it's isn't a dining place, Especially on Ramadan when i told them am fasting, No other European or American places will treat you as good as they do, The food quality for Iftar was amazing, I'll always be coming here when i want Döner kebab

Lovely kebabs from Akar - we travel down from Milton Keynes to visit family, can’t get anywhere near as a good as this at home. The delivery driver is always nice and friendly - gets on well with the dog too. Looking forward to our next one :)

We was not happy with the service we had tonight the price was wrong we was charged £20.70 and it should have been £17.70 and it took and hour to get to us we want a refund on the money we paid tonight at 8 central t enfield EN13qb

£4 for roughly 30 chips absolute joke. Can't belive guy kept a straight face when giving back my change. Questioned him but shrugged his shoulders. Absolute joke. Thats what the guy charged me. And yh counted the chips less than 30 Be a man of your word and let me know how I pick up the £100 voucher and maybe I'll change my review to.

Would give no stars if I could. Extremely RUDE! kept me waiting for over an hour and then proceeded to cancel the order because they didn’t like the timing of when I ordered. If you don’t want to accept deliveries at a certain time then remove “accepting deliveries” for that specific time, don’t waste peoples time. Proper jokes! on top the manager was rude to me and spoke to me like he pays my bills. Unprofessional.

Really disappointed with them. Literally bought chicken doner and chicken shish for 15.80 and they gave me half the portions probably less. I feel scammed. If i bought them separately on their own i feel like I would’ve gotten more for the money. I swear I won’t buy worthless food from them ever again. Guys i would recommend going to other kebab shops down the street.

I had my summer holiday in Enfield and visited majority of the Turkish take away shops there. The ebst Kofte, kebab and donner sandwiches to eat and enoy are at Akar Kebab. Make no mistake about it, it is the best money can buy. Make sure to ask for dash of garlic sauce on your chicken donner.

Usually okay here but ordered chips and nuggets this evening and cannot honestly believe they sent me what they sent. The nuggets have been recooked and are almost black, literally black and clearly not edible. Chips the same. Won’t be going back here again honestly unbelievable that they thought they’d get away with sending me this. Lost a customer

I put a order in on just eat and all coz i was busy with my kids who are only 6 mouths and 19 mouths and did not pick up the phone tbey stoped my order but ive been ordeing off them for 10 years and all he sed was just in case i never paded for my food but never been a prop befor all i asked for was a sorry and i got told no way roud

Absolutely disgusting food, waiting over an hour for our food which when delivered it was missing half the order & what was delivered was inedible. Environmental services would have a field day. Never recommend this dive to anyone.
