Having recently hosted two events at Claridge's, I can confidently say this iconic London establishment surpasses its already stellar reputation.
From the initial planning stages through execution, Claridge's delivers an experience that transcends the conventional understanding of luxury hospitality. The venue's timeless Art Deco elegance creates an atmosphere of refined sophistication that immediately impresses guests upon arrival.
What truly distinguishes Claridge's, however, is its exceptional staff. The events team demonstrates remarkable professionalism, approaching each interaction with genuine warmth while maintaining impeccable attention to detail. Their communication throughout the planning process was consistently clear, responsive, and thoughtful—anticipating needs before they arose.
The preparation for both events was flawless. Every element, from room setup to audiovisual requirements, was executed with precision. The catering deserves special mention, with each dish reflecting the kitchen's commitment to culinary excellence. The service staff moved with choreographed efficiency that never felt rushed or intrusive.
For high-profile events where impression matters, Claridge's offers that rare combination of prestigious heritage and contemporary service excellence. The venue's ability to make each guest feel personally attended to, despite managing multiple complex events simultaneously, demonstrates their mastery of the hospitality craft.
Claridge's doesn't merely meet expectations—it redefines them. For those seeking an event venue that will leave guests with lasting positive impressions, Claridge's stands as London's premier choice.
Best cocktails, best bartenders, best vibes, best hotel in London. You’re guaranteed a superb time and enjoyment. Perfect start before heading to dinner in the dining rooms. Love life, love Claridge’s.

We were visiting several times. Last time in December 2024 and it will be our last. After payment for the satay in reception I sat in the lobby , just in front of reception desk. I started order a transport to airport by phone , and while doing this a man came and took my business bag. And all this with all the cameras , security and door man. So I was robbed in lobby. Hotel of course doesn’t want to take any responsibility. Their insurance not converting it. They don’t even do any compensation for the stay. Zero helpful action. You should expect more from 5* hotel. Shame.
My partner and I visited the market on a Sunday, around lunch time.
There was no queue, however, on different occasions I've seen a large queue, as people are crazy about this place.
It's delicious.
We tried the pizza portafolio. It's as cheap as a fiver, and with a delicious dough, cheese and tomato sauce.
Be careful as the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese are burning hot (not spicy), so make sure to seat somewhere and eat it carefully.
You'll love it.
Staff (lady at the till) wad very friendly and welcoming.

Don't waste your time at this place.
Went there two weeks ago and was unfortunately greeted by a really rude and unwilling bartender.
I kindly asked if they have any wine options for my partner, I was told, and I quote: " Look around you mate, this is a whisky bar". Interestingly enough, they do serve beer even if "this is a whisky bar".
From then on it was downhill, no suggestions on whisky, unwilling to serve. Shame.
On top of everything, you should know they charge 12.5% "optional" service charge just to serve at the bar.
I was never told about until I asked for the receipt.
Milroys of Soho, how is this acceptable??
Chop Chop at the Hippodrome Casino offers a fantastic Chinese dining experience in a vibrant yet relaxed setting. The decor strikes a perfect balance between lively and comfortable, making it an ideal spot to unwind, whether you're visiting the casino or just in the area.
The food was a real highlight. The chow mien were incredibly smokey and delicious, full of that rich, authentic "wok hei" flavor that really sets great Chinese cuisine apart. I also tried the salt and pepper tofu, which was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside while soft and flavorful on the inside.
To drink, I ordered the Dragon’s Gate mocktail, and it was amazing. Refreshing, well-balanced, and beautifully presented, it paired wonderfully with the meal.
Service was impressively fast without feeling rushed. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff remained friendly and efficient, ensuring everything arrived hot and fresh in no time.
Overall, Chop Chop delivers a brilliant combination of great food, excellent drinks, stylish decor, and speedy service. It's a fantastic choice if you're looking for quality Chinese food in the heart of London.
Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

What a fabulous dining experience tonight at Ceru! Their eclectic fusion menu is inspired and every dish we ordered was delightful! When reading the menu posted outside the restaurant I was intrigued by the Watermelon and Toasted Feta Salad, which turned out to be my favourite of the 6 dishes we ordered. I also appreciated the alcohol free options on the cocktail menu and enjoyed the passion fruit mojito. Service was pleasant and efficient, and the ambience inside is relaxing. Well done Ceru!
